I am on their monthly Wellness program payment plan and for $50 it is a great bargain. It is health insurance for my girl! They take great care of her and I love Dr Jeong, He is thorough, thoughtful and honest. I will be bringing my Pomeranian Sophie here as long as I can. read more

We arrived about 5 minutes late for the appointment for our 16yo dog. My wife went in to confirm our arriva, as our pup had to relieve herself. She waited a few minutes for her turn, as another person was checking out. Well, it seems that since we checked in past their 10 minutes window by 2 minutes, the appointment was cancelled. Umm... my wife was there, with me a minute behind, well within their cutoff. We pleaded, where the front desk person went in ack, found someone else, who outright refused to hear about it,insisting we were far too late. Then here comes bet Amy , into the room for 5 min shine a light in my cats eye to diagnose him with Pannus . So she referred me to an ophthalmologist. This Knowledgeable ophthalmologist came into the room laughing because Pannus is a diagnosis only in DOGS! Do better banefield. Don't off care you wouldn't give to your own animal. Hopefully this will be sent to the newer Tualatin Banfield hospital Location. I took my cat into their old spot that was inside Petsmart in or around 2015'ish. I say that she's my cat since I've basically adopted her since her previous owner left her behind at the apt complex which is pretty common. She lives w/me. when I took her in, the doctor at the time saved her life thankfully!!! Fast forward to last Wednesday 10/18/23 I called this new location, first off the receptionist was NOT people friendly at all! They still had her file from my previous visit. when I called to ask if there was a way for me to get my cat ID# on her chip so I could update it since when I went in when she was sick she was scanned & I was told her chip wasn't updated so they couldn't contact her previous owner but they still helped her & like I said saved her life! My manager at my complex said if they aren't up dated & they end up outside they will send them to the human society, so that's what I was trying to do. The rude & snotty receptionist put me on hold at least 3 times getting crappy advice from a "manager nurse" who informed her that since it wasn't my cat & since they didn't chip her when she got the chip they can't give me her personal Id chip info. Well, when I took her when she was sick & dropped a good amount of $ to save her nobody gave me a difficult time that she wasn't fully my cat just yet. The receptionist told me that the "manager nurse" was going to call me back since supposedly she was in a meeting (go figure) & couldn't talk to me. A week later nobody has called me back. But that's okay, since I literally called the Petsmart Banfield in Wilsonville & had the kindest most helpful & understanding lady help me & within 5mins. she provided me the chip id#. I called the company who updated my cat's chip info. Easy peasy. I'm not sure what happen to the old Banfield but this newer one is not helpful at all. If her owners didn't update her ID chip & left her behind & I was willing to update it & have her as mine & make sure she's safe that's what should matter. I am sharing this to warn others of you about Banfield's policy. I too was told that even though my cat had died that I needed to either pay full price for all services received during the time the pet policy was in force or continue to pay the premium for my cat's health insurance even though he is dead until it equaled that amount. Tigard Banfield- inoculated my dog (x3) without our permission. On November 27th we took him in to have a small wound looked at and we were dropping him off they asked if there's anything else he needed. My husband clearly said "no thanks just look at his wound." Back track to our last visit to Banfield, our dog was getting his nails trimmed and they mentioned his vaccines. He's already fully vaccinated but I know he needs rabies once a year so I said go ahead and give him the rabies for now. About an hour later we received a call back from Banfield trying to push us into the other three vaccines. They never told us which ones but I immediately told them "no thank you," the one is enough for his little body right now and we'll get the others later once we figure out which ones those are. She was extremely rude to me and treated me in a manner that was less than professional. Fast forward to his next visit (Nov 27th) we picked up our dog and to our surprise they told us he received 3 shots!! They never called to ask permission/consent. When we asked the vet about this she just said "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that without asking permission." Well too late now! We will not be taking our dog here again! If they don't mind doing this to our dog now, how are we to know what else they will do to our dog in the future? The incompetence and lack of concern at theTigard Banfield is palpable. We now have to watch our dog closely to make sure he doesn't have any serious reactions from this careless/unwanted decision. They better hope he doesn't. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I would never recommend using Banfield as a company, they charging outrageous amount for their wellness plan, but I can never accommodate emergency visits of any sort. You typically will call and they will schedule you for a month out. For instance, I scheduled an appointment for this Friday, the system said they had so many openings. I scheduled one because I'm having an issue with my pet. The receptionist called me, was very rude and unprofessional and basically said I did not have an appointment I had to go to another clinic. Super rude super unprofessional, I have a plan with Banfield, I would like my appointment with Banfield since I pay for it. She would not accommodate me or make anything work. The quality of care has changed drastically since 2018. I've used Wilsonville and Tualatin. There is now high turnover in both locations, so getting longer term care with the same doctor is difficult. My appointments have been subpar, either my pet is there longer in a kennel waiting or the doctors seem rushed. They use substitute doctors which makes getting prescription refills difficult. Tualatin is super unorganized... I was given a prescription with another animal's info, had to go back. One lady is always very rude with attitude. Prescriptions haven't been called in to pharmacy. I have to babysit these people. I only go back because the male Asian doctor is amazing with my cats needs. read more

One Sunday afternoon, my dog started bleeding from the mouth during a walk. My normal vet wasn't open on Sunday, and while she wasn't showing any signs of discomfort, I wanted to go to a vet as soon as possible to make sure. Banfield's open 7 days a week, so I went there. I was so impressed by the people there that I decided to make them my regular vet. As an additional bonus, because it was my first visit there, the examination was free. I've been taking my two dogs there for a little over a year now and haven't had any issues. Everyone I have interacted with have always been friendly and professional. The prices are certainly competitive and because I travel with my dogs, it's good to know there are other Banfields with easy access to my dogs' medical records all over the country. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I took my healthy 18 month old puppy for routine vaccinations. We were new to the area and also establishing new "patient". Due to Covid they had a drop off policy and I was told that he would be with them for 2 hours. After 2 1/2 I called and they said that he had not received his vaccinations or had seen the vet yet. I called back at 3 1/2 hours and said that the vet would seeing him shortly and call me back. At 4 hours the vet called me after the examine not during as told to discuss concerns or address questions. All in all the time spent there was 4.5 hours. When I asked about whether he had received any water they said "he's so big there was no room in the kennel!". With the exception of the 10-15" with the vet he had been in a kennel!!! With no water. I consider this animal cruelty. I would NEVER go back! I made an appt with another vet and I can actually come into the appointment with him! I had gotten a text about my dog being do for vaccines. So I called Tualatin Banfield to schedule an appt. but the receptionist said he wasnt due for anything. Then she said oh wait he is due for Bordatella. We scheduled for 2/4/2023 @10am. But when we arrived for the appt. my dog was never scheduled. This is not the only problem I have had here. When my dog got neutered there he got an infection. When I called to tell them they tried to make appt. 3 weeks out. He needed to be seen right away. Thank you to all the staff at Tualatin Banfield for your help today :) A few years ago I had a very bad interaction, wasn't the first but for sure was the last, with the staff at the Tigard location. I decided at that time to try the Tualatin location since my pets had wellness plans and I wanted to keep them enrolled. (Despite the other reviews, the wellness plan is actually very cost-effective.) The staff at the Tualatin location has always been great to our family and my grandcats. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and are always polite and professional no matter what. Right now they are having patients meet outside for pick up and drop off due to COVID19 which is fine, I am grateful they are open and caring for our pets. They deserve the same gratitude we give human healthcare workers for being open and on the frontline. read more

Called to get my sick dog in and their voicemail says open at 7. Finally got a live person at 8:23. They listened to what is happening to my pet, went and discussed with the vet and said she should be looked at right away but because they are smaller hospital recommended I call other locations and then told me good luck. Beware. Ask questions before you agree to anything. They prey on your love for your pet. I took my cat in because he was throwing up over two days. I was concerned. They recommended they do a pancreatic test because that could be a symptom of throwing up. I agreed they did the test and it came back negative. Then they recommended full blood work I agreed. The blood work came back negative. Then they recommended doing x-rays and they came back negative. I am so mad at myself for being talked into all the test. After all said and done I was charge $950 and they still didn't know what was wrong with him. After all of that they gave me anti-nausea pills and told me to keep him comfortable. REALLY!!!!!!! I asked couldn't you have started with The anti-nausea Medication first instead of going through all the testing. They said they really needed to do the test and asked wasn't I glad they all came back negative. Really!! After $950 and no diagnosis I really feel that I was taken advantage of and they are just trying to make as much money as they can from people who would do anything for their pets. I have been taking my dog to Banfield since he was a puppy. He is 9 years old now and we normally always go to Tigard. Long story short I woke up to find my dogs face and eye was swollen from a spider bite. I figure since I lived in Tualatin I would just take him there since its a little closer. I called and told them what was wrong and she puts me down for an 8:30 appointment. When I get there I am told now its consider and emergency visit and I will have to pay for that, on top of it leave my dog and they will call me when they are done. That is not right on all levels. I called Tigard and they said bring him in. I was in and out in less than 15 min. They gave him a shot for swelling and benadryl. I will NEVER go to Tualatin, they are a joke and have no compassion for your animal. Tigard they are the best that's why I go there. read more

This Banfeild is pretty great! I've been bringing my italian greyhound in for shots every few weeks. I had a bad experience once with Dr. Hussey as did my roommate twice when she brought in her dog. Dr. Hussey was very short and rude. She tried to take my dog in the back to give her shots and when I said no, that I wanted her to be given shots in the room with me there, she got an attitude. No vet has ever had a problem giving shots in the room with me there. After she gave her the shots, my dog was crying and she said very quickly what said effects to look for. When I said 'Wait, What?" because of my dog crying, she said them again really quickly and left the room. She didn't even spend 20 seconds in the room after giving the shots. I would have liked to think it was an off day for her. Everyone has off days. But when I went home and talked to my roommate and described the experience I had, she said she had a similar experience and looked at her receipt and found out it was also Dr. Hussey. I don't know if maybe she's better with cats or bigger dogs. She's been at this location for several years so obviously this can't be happening all the time. The way she treated my puppy was unacceptable. Now, about the good! I should say that when it came time to scheduel my pets next appointment two weeks later I called to say I wanted a different doctor and was told there would be another for my appointment, but when I got there the only doctor was Dr. Hussey. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes just sitting in a room waiting for the next veterinarian to get there. In walked Dr. Lea Sheldahl and she is amazing! The difference was like night and day! She actually listen to the concerns I had about my furry family member and after her shots were given she stayed in the room for at least 10 minutes (probably more) and went over all possible side effects that could happen and asked if I had questions and was very helpful. Doctor Robin Sechrest is also very good! Overall I like this location a lot. Just don't feel like you have to stick with one veterinarian. Speak up if you don't like something or if you feel like your pet needs something specific. read more

I can understand that Nyberg's Banfield is under fire at the moment due to the news reports regarding a disgruntled employee who worked there last year. However, I'd like to state the fact that each Banfield is different especially in their staff. Nyberg's Banfield doesn't pressure you nor do they lack empathy for your pets. Yes, they may offer to do extra test to better determine what is wrong with your pet, but you have the option to do it or not. It is your decision whether you want to take your business here or not, but from experience I don't mind continuing to see the doctors here. My experience has only been good thus far especially with Doctor Hussey who did my dog's dental work (including the removal of a broken tooth) and he feels as great before his tooth broke. She did a great job and I'd recommend to anyone to go too. I've had my share of bad experiences at other Banfields, but this just shows that each Banfield is different. read more

After ten years of annual teeth cleanings Banfield Pet Hospital in Tualatin said after the most recent exam that our Jack Russell needed $1400 in dental care including three extractions with over $200 in ex-rays. We mentioned this to our dog groomer who recommended Forever Pet Dental. After a preliminary exam at FPD we had our dog's teeth recleaned. As it turns out, he needed NO extractions - total bill $239. AVOID BANFIELD! It appears that they are removing healthy teeth and charging excessively to do so. We cancelled our contract at Banfield (yes you can cancel). On another note, we had, unfortunately, to have our older dog and cat put down. Banfield charged us for a required exam, a fee for euthanasia, and then required us to pay the balance of our contract on our deceased pets! It like having to pay Kaiser after your Dad dies. Go figure. I cannot stress enough my disappointment with Banfield. I think the State Attorney General should investigate their practices. read more

I have been taking my cat to Banfield Pet Hospital for her entire life. She was on the Wellness plan for 18 years. I paid $31 every month for this plan. Over those 18 years the total was $6,696. In addition to this monthly fee, I paid an average of $50 each time she went for various services. We rarely walked away without a fee. We had to put our beloved cat down yesterday. This cost was $134 for basic euthanasia and cremation. Banfield offered other options for more money (paw prints, taking home the ashes, etc.)...an opportunity to make more money. I called Banfield Pet Hospital yesterday to cancel the wellness plan. The company told me that because we passed her wellness date, we owe $250 to cancel the service. I was in shock! They said that because I was such a long time customer, they were lowered that to $117. Not only did we lose our beloved pet, Banfield was going to extract more money from us. What we paid over the 18 years just wasn't enough. Although the veterinarians and vet assistants were great they work for a large business that is about making money. I will never take any future pets to Banfield again! I will open a savings account, save the $6,696 dollars for my next pet, and I will support a local veterinarian with my business. read more

I took my injured cat into the Banfield Pet Hospital in Tualatin. We have the pet wellness plan. The doctor who I saw was less than helpful. She told me he was in too m much pain to check him out....Is that what they are supposed to ? Find a way to administer pain meds or something to help them diagnose what is wrong with the animal? I spent quite a bit of time there and left with "well maybe he has arthritis in his leg but I don't know" She did tell me that she would only charge me for one set of xrays since that is all they were able to take. Ok...why would you even think of charging me for more? I spent almost $200 on this appointment with the wellness plan. Two days later I had to take him to another clinic for a follow up and second opinion and pay more money out of pocket. They were able to tell me right away what was wrong with him and they came up with a plan on how to help him get well. I did contact the manager of the Tualatin location and he was very helpful and in the end he ended up refunding part of my $$ for the xrays that were completed on him. He also said that he felt we weren't given the best care that we should have. Last weekend we had to put our cat down due to other issues and their wellness plan will not allow me to cancel due to us "saving money at appointments due to the plan" This is crazy. They want me to pay the difference from what I have paid through out the year and what I would have had to pay without the plan. I thought that was what the whole wellness plan was about. You pay a monthly fee for your animal. When you go in to use their services, there are discounts. For these two reasons, I will not recommend or return to Banfield Pet Hospital for any reason at all. I can't recommend this clinic because I was never told of the risk from the cat/dog rabies vaccination. I had a cat that died yesterday from cancer from the rabies vaccine she received at this clinic. I have since moved away and another Vet and my cat's oncologist both confirmed this malignant cancer was from the adjuvant (aluminum) in the vaccine for rabies. They told me there is a cat-only rabies vaccine that does not have this adjuvant and is much safer for cats. I was never informed of this by the Banfield staff. Nearly a year ago I noticed a small bump on my cat's right rear hump where she was given her rabies vaccine. I instantly worried about cancer and brought her into the Banfield clinic to get checked out. I was told to not worry and that it was mostly likely a benign cyst. I insisted on an xray and was shown the xray and told there was nothing there. A couple of months later I brought my cat in to get her teeth cleaned and again voiced my concern about that bump because it was getting bigger. I was again told to not worry because it was likely just a benign cyst. I had the doctor on duty look at the xray from before and even took a new one. I was told to not worry about it as they saw nothing of importance. We moved out of state at that time and I found another Banfield clinic where we moved to. I brought my cat in and brought up the bump and my concern as it was getting larger. I was told that these benign cysts can leak making it seem like it is getting bigger, but to not worry. Five months later I brought her in for her next scheduled procedures as we were on the monthly wellness plan, and I was very worried because the bump was getting even larger and now there were two large bumps. A needle biopsy was finally done and the lab results came back negative for cancer. Not even a month later my cat could no longer sit down, was crying in pain and was barely eating. I brought her back to the Banfield clinic where a very kind and understanding doctor knew there was nothing they could do and referred us to a cancer clinic in Seattle. Four days later we were at the oncologist where we had a C-T scan done and surgery to get a representative sample of the tumor sent to their lab. It was confirmed that my cat had a malignant fibrosarcoma that had grown so large that it was now invading her tailbone and down into her sciatic nerve in her right rear leg causing terrible pain. Surgery was no longer an option and after about four more weeks my cat died. Both the oncologist and the final doctor asked if a biopsy had ever been done right away to confirm the mass, and I said that the Banfield in Tualatin doctors told me it was unnecessary and they didn't see any need to do one from the xrays they took. I can't say that if a representative biopsy had originally been done nearly a year ago when I first noticed the bump and brought her to the Tualatin Banfield that she would have survived, but everything I've read and doctors I've talked to said that if caught at that first early stage, aggressive surgery would have been possible and followed by radiation treatment, my cat very likely would be alive and well today. I will not recommend any Banfield clinic to anyone because even though my cat and I were treated kindly, we were never informed about the risks of the rabies vaccine nor the cat-only alternative available to us. I am also incredibly disappointed by the Tualatin Banfield's lack of immediate concern when I first brought the bump to their attention. I can't say if the xrays were read incorrectly, but their nonchalant attitude about the cancer that my cat had smells of incompetence and a lack of professionalism. I lived and learned, but my cat died for me to have learned and I don't want any other cat owner to suffer the horrible pain and loss I have. Cat owners beware the Banfield! read more

Nyberg Woods/Tualatin location: I've had some great doctors (Kortyka, Chigos, Morrow - all of which are no longer there - and currently Dr. Dawson) and some not so great doctors. The vet techs are hit and miss (mostly hit). The front desk/reception staff over the last few years has been abysmal. They are rigid, defensive, and their lack of compassion is astounding. I'm transferring my account to the Tigard hospital. I'll miss Dr. Dawson as she's been really great with my old and ailing dog, but I have no interest in dealing with the front desk again. read more

I have been taking my dog to Tualatin Banfield for several years and have never had a problem. Recently one of the new receptionist had been very rude and unhelpful at the tualatin location. I called a few months back to see if I could get an appointment because my older dog was having a hard time getting up and seemed to be in pain. I was told they couldn't see my dog until next week because they were really busy. I understand with COVID-19 it can be harder to make an appointment but this receptionist didn't seem to care at all about my dog. So I called the Lake Oswego location and after explaining the same thing to the receptionist there she said they could get her in the next day but since her symptoms were serious that we may need to take her to an emergency clinic and gave me information for nearby clinics. Had the tualatin receptionist done the same I would have been fine with it but she expressed no concern for my dogs well being. My dog has another appointment today and I called to ask if my dog needed medication before the appointment this same receptionist gave me a short yes, with no explanation as to what is needed and when I asked if I could order syringes she said yes you can talk to the nurse about it. When in the past when I call they at least check to make sure they have them. Very frustrating that this person shows very little effort and makes a big impact on how I view Banfield. read more

Make an appointment at 2:00 and don't even get in a room with the vet for 15-30 mins. Once it was even 45 minutes. It's just disrespectful. I have changed Banfield locations as Tualatin was my primary location for both of my dogs, but not anymore. I'm not sure what is happening at this location internally, but I have been a loyal customer for several years until now. Their staff changes constantly, so each time you get a different nurse and doctor. I asked why everybody has left and their answer is always "they left for a better opportunity." Some of their staff have transferred to other Banfield locations and in turn, we have switched with them. The staff being new, is very inexperienced and last month when I was there I heard the doctor tell the lady at the front desk to tell customers they are about 20 minutes behind and to suggest the customers go walk around Petsmart until they can be seen. I understand Banfield in trying to get their customers to shop at Petsmart as they share the building, but couldn't believe this is what they told customers when two rooms were available. I was in one of the occupied rooms and watched the doctor eat her lunch thru a small window in the door. The customer they told to go "walk around" had a scheduled appointment for her dog to get one shot. My simple scheduled appointment took almost 2 hours. I couldn't believe it. I am only writing this review as I have slowly watched the service and staff at this location steadily decline. They need to get trained staff at the front desk and doctors who care. I have spent thousands with Banfield and it would be nice to see this location get up to speed before they lose more patients. read more

I've been a Banfield customer since 2007, using mostly the Tualatin location, but Wilsonville a couple of times. I've had a wellness plan the entire time for my dog. They apparently had duplicate (4?) files for my dog, and due to this duplication, they vaccinated her twice in 6 months for heartworm and rabies. It pains me, but the staff changes, and lack of concern on their part are causing me to leave. They have turnover in both vets and staff, which can be very upsetting. When I made the appointment for my dog to come in last week, the receptionist said "we haven't seen you since 2009". I set her straight, but the error persisted, and caused a great deal of anguish. I don't think wellness plans are a good idea if you never know who you are going to be dealing with. It was not always this way - 2-3 years ago it was much better. read more

I wish I could give this location negative stars. They killed my 9yr old sister's cat with during what should have been a routine teeth cleaning. After the cleaning they told us that they "may have" spilled fluid in her lungs, and that we needed to watch her. At first we attributed her sickly behavior to the normal post vet woes, but she steadily grew worse. She laid under my sister's bed for over a day without eating and drinking until we were able to take her back to the vet, our mistake, they promptly told us that they could find nothing wrong with her and this may have been caused by a pre existing condition. Both my family and the vets know that this cat had a perfect bill of health before coming to see them but they refused to admit that they had messed up, instead they said that we should take her to a cardiologist which would cost thousands of dollars that my family doesn't have. You would think that since this was their mistake they would have paid for it or done something to fix their actions but instead they denied that they were at fault even though they told us right after they had returned the cat that they had messed up. This cat was very healthy, she was always very nice and a loved member of our family. Any time she heard my sister cry she would always come to the rescue to cheer my sister up, but not today, today my sister cries without her beloved pet coming to cheer her up. Because today we were left with no choice but to put her down. Her breathing steadily worsened, she stopped eating and couldn't even move to go to her litter box. Generaly, we have had good experiences with this banfield. Recently, however, I would hesitate to trust my animals to them. We brought both our dogs in for an annual exam. We had scheduled both dogs for the day but they failed to put one of the dogs in for an appointment. We brought the dogs in at 7:00 AM and they hadn't eaten in 12 hours, as requested by the vet. It wasn't untill 3:00 PM before the dogs where even looked at. They did a dental cleaning on one dog and shots on the other. Both dogs where supposed to get dentals and shots. They didn't do shots on the one dog because they ran out of time for the day. My dogs where there for 10 hours and still didn't get everything done I had asked for. These are my dogs aka my kids. Unbelievable! Do not take your pet here-I say this very strongly! How do these incompetent people get degrees to diagnose, and treat the world's most loved animals? I am beside myself with perplexity, bewilderment, and also a heavy heart... My dog was in for a simple routine check up and vaccination. The doctor diagnosed him with "mild arthritis". She prescribed an over the counter (Rejuvenate) treatment. Come to find out that It did not help my dog at all. Based on these results (which were "ZERO"), I took him into another hospital for diagnosis. The first thing that the doctor said is that he has nerve damage (she showed me the simple test that revealed that diagnosis) to his back legs. NOT Arthritis! I am so upset that this simple test that even I could have done (had I known it before I took him to Banfield) was not performed by the doctor at Banfield. We are now having to do more blood work, x-rays, etc. that should have been performed 3 weeks ago when he was seen at Banfield. Stay away from this hospital at all costs. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS! YOUR PET'S LIFE COULD DEPEND ON IT-AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO RELY ON THIS PLACE! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!!! read more

I have a Giant Schnauzer 5yrs old,who has been at Banfield Pet Hospital for checkups and proceedures for 4 years. It is a great place with a supportive team. I have never had anything but consideration from the vets there, both at Nyberg Woods and Lake Oswego. I usually make sure Dr. Hussey is available because.of continuity and also because she spent time with me discussing prognosis spending extra research time for my dog Flora, to determine immune disorder of the paws. Without her research on different medications to worki in conjunction with one another I would not have a confident and healthy dog who can cope with nail beds that would bleed without constant medication and care. Because it is an unusual disorder it took patience in assessment and veterinary skill to accomplish results which make for a happy dog and owner.Thank you personally Dr. Hussey and the staff of both Banfields from Flora. Beware of this animal hospital they are crooks. I brought my dog in and they couldn't find anything wrong with him. They scared me and told me that it could be his stomach and that they needed to run tests. They showed me a bill of well over $700 and told me it would be my best benefit to buy the health insurance so I could get all this stuff done for $300. However the insurance was $50 a month and doesn't cover much. I signed up and gave them the go ahead. I felt very uncomfortable with the whole thing so I called another vet to consult with. They told me to go ahead and just watch my dog and bring him in if things get worse. I went back in and told the front desk that I wanted to cancel insurance and stop all treatment. They took their time and didn't go immediately to the back and once they did they came back and said they already ran the blood work. It took them well over 30 min to return my dog. They ran a bunch of unnecessary tests that were not the blood work that I asked for and it seemed like they did so in the 30min I was waiting to get my dog back. They charged me 200 and had no diganosis. I took him home and watched him as the other vet suggested and he was fine. He strained his back probably from playing to hard the day before. I found it disgusting that the veterinarians are more like gross sales people selling unnecessary animal insurance instead of caring doctors. If I did not consult with a moral veterinarian they would have got me for more than 900 after the year of pet insurance that doesn't cover anything. Please dont be fooled. read more

Groomers next door injured my puppy and took him over to Banfield to check it out. The groomer didn't tell me, and Banfield didn't call me. Found out by accident when checking out at a later appointment the Vet Asssistant checking me out said something about my dog being seen on a date that I knew was wrong. Thought their records were wrong so she looked at the notes and said "oh, the groomer brought him over." The next thing you know my puppy is diagnosed with loose patellas and recommended for a $5000 surgery. Left the practice and the groomer and more than 18 months go by with NO further patella issues. Cancelled the wellness program, no further contact but they continued to charge me for it. They didn't give me the pone number to call, but they did cancel all notifications for wellness care. Called the number, they have no interest in trying to make it right with a very unhappy customer. read more
