We received a call the day before his surgery to go over details. They have a parking lot out front which made it easy the next morning. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. The front was clean and organized. My only suggestion would be to have the option to complete paperwork online beforehand instead of doing in clinic. It was hard to read and sign papers with a puppy (he was so excited by all the new smells). They gave us the time frame of when he could be ready and followed-up after his surgery for pick-up time. We opted to pay a little bit extra to get the disposal stitches so we wouldn't have to go back to get them taken out. The post care instructions were clear. We appreciated the follow-up call the day after his surgery to check on him. Overall we had a great experience.

We searched online and found that Emergency Vet of Tualatin was open 24 hours. We took her there and all the staff were warm and welcoming during this stressful time. They were able to get her in to see a vet right away. We appreciate the speediness of their efforts. Unfortunately it was determined the our dog had a stroke and lost almost all mobility in her hind legs. This was a very difficult decision to make and the vet was patient and kind during the whole interaction. We chose a private cremation and paw print. When we saw the beautiful wooden box her ashes were put in it made a somber moment a little easier. I called to mention that we wanted her collar with her name tag to keep. They were able to track it down and made sure we got it. The paw print was done well and the quality was great. It was thoughtful of the clinic to send us a card as well about their condolences.

Something I didn't realize was they let our primary vet know that Maximus had passed. I called halfway through my trip and they provided an update, which I really appreciated. When I picked her up she was happy, smelled amazing, and her fur was so soft. Not sure if they bathed her or brushed her or what, but I appreciated it. The staff is super friendly, and I would happily leave my old girl with them again (she's 16). For reference, she stayed in a kitty condo and I could easily fit her bed plus one of the long/narrow scratchers from petsmart. My kitty also requires a decent amount of medication, and that was no issue, just a small fee per med.

Our last check up for our three healthy cats cost over $1000. Before the sale the cost was less than $400.
