Restaurant week is usually more miss than hit because restaurants get overwhelmed and over capacity. Bang Bang Kitchen's restaurant week was an exception - everything was delicious and the service was great. Particular hits were the chili frito pie; the mole enchiladas, and the fried ice cream. All great flavors and substantial portions. Drinks were complex and visually appealing. The restaurant itself is colorful and clean with comfortable seating. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Surprisingly authentic Mexican food with an amazing bartender/ drinks and excellent service. We had chicken nachos, beef tacos and the fried ice cream and washed it down with some margaritas and a frosea. We visited on a Saturday night and it was a really fun vibe to boot!

This place is great for brunch lunch and dinner. The staff is really friendly, the food is top notch, and it's the stuffed Sopapillas for me. They aren't just for dessert anymore! Stuff em with brisket! Do it!!!!!!!111

The food was super good, fresh and plentiful! Serving sizes were large, and the drinks were Bang Bang strong! Service was amazing, they were on top of everything without asking, but gave us time to think and enjoy as well. The ambiance was chill, and the mariners game was on in the background, so even better! Great place!!

Where has New Mexican food been all my life?? In New Mexico, I guess. Finally tried this spot after moving south to the neighborhood a few months ago, and it instantly became our new go-to brunch spot. Came here Ona date brunch with my wife, and we'll definitely be bringing the kids next time. The cornbread pancakes and chicken wings and breakfast torta all hit the spot. It's a beautiful cross between TexMex and a hint of Southern cuisine, a wonderful mixture of flavors that were at once familiar and novel to us. They have a beautiful restaurant on Othello with lots of space for groups of varying sizes, and they have validated parking in garage behind the restaurant. Can't wait to come back and try it out for dinner and drinks!

Very cute neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. Met a friend here during Happy Hour on a Wednesday, this was both our first visit. Spent a lot of time on such a small menu to decide what we wanted as some items seems peculiar, like vegan Mac&cheese and pancakes w/ wings so we ordered queso and chips along with some drinks as we continued to browse the menu and look up pictures to catch their vibe but we both landed on enchiladas. Dish comes with 3 enchiladas but you cannot mix the meat so we got 3 chicken and 3 brisket, both with red & green sauce. The chicken was the best as the brisket was pretty dry but neither was worth raving over. All in all I would come back to try their brunch on the weekend and if I was in a nacho mood during their happy hour.

Absolutely awesome place to get your grub on!! This has been on my bookmarks forever and I finally decided to go out of my way to try it out. I went for brunch this time and will certainly be back for dinner! Bang Bang isn't veg*n, but they are very friendly and many of the menu items can be easily modified to be either vegan or vegetarian. I went with the breakfast burrito, sub soyrizo to make it veggie friendly. It was really good and filling! The green sauce was definitely my favourite of the two. To drink I got a Berry the Hatchet, which was perfect! The restaurant was beautifully clean, the service was great, and they have a bar section. Great establishment!! The only thing I didn't like was the parking. I did, in fact, find street parking. It was not a picnic. There's a parking garage. Don't be me and use it!

Stopped here with my family for a quick bite to eat before a flight. It was Saturday evening, and the restaurant was just starting to fill up with more people. Lovely ambiance with fun lights, tables, and booths. The hostess and waiter were both very friendly and attentive. The food was GREAT overall. We started with sopapillas and honey -- wow. My family both got different tacos and I got a burrito. The tacos were 5 stars, the rice and beans a little lackluster. The burrito was yummy with delicious Christmas sauce but I would have loved some veg with the potatoes and beans. I got chorizo tofu though which was delicious. Definitely a spot to check out.

Why is this place not packed for Saturday brunch? Interesting menu, great flavors, pleasant and professional servers. Ok, the chairs could be more comfortable, but besides that, a stellar meal. My fav part of the meal was the SW Fried Rice. Nice presentation and homey yet exciting flavors. Topped with a fried egg - perfect. I'm guessing everything on the menu has been thoughtfully constructed to be very satisfying. I hope to find out as I eat through the menu!

This place was pretty pretty good. I made in time for Happy Hour which had a good menu. There were drinks and pretty of food options. I enjoyed the location which is near the Othello station. This is a great meeting place before heading downtown for a concert or play. The inside was nice and clean. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

    Fried Ice Cream

Stopped in and ordered from their Seattle Restaurant Week menu. I had the green chili bisque, cheesy birria tacos and the fried ice cream. This spot is one of my favorite go to places in Seattle cause the food and service is always great. Every single thing I had for this meal was incredible. It was so good that it's ruined every meal for a few days after cause nothing compares. (The tacos were gone before I could get a pic)

My wife had the po' boy, and it compared surprisingly well to a true New Orleans-style sandwich--definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared. The ambiance is very Seattle, in the best possible way: casual, eclectic, and perfectly suited to its Rainier Beach Old Town location. The neighborhood can feel a little sketchy, but honestly, that's part of the setting and fits the vibe of the place, so I wouldn't hold that against Jude's. Service was good overall, although it was a little slow considering how small the restaurant is. Still, the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for some solid Cajun food with a distinctly Seattle personality.

Though we both liked our entrees, we both thought the protein quality of the mains is just ok. The winning dish is the mini arepas, hands down. I would order those mini arepa for my entree easily. This location is roomy. Service is warm; our server was helpful answering questions. The Food: Arepitas Fritas, $17 - 5+ Stars Four mini arepa in the appetizer section, these start with the same cornmeal (masa de maíz) base as the normal arepa, then topped with cheese, slow cooked beef, quail egg, and pink sauce. These bites are sooooo good! They sell the full-size arepas also, which will likely be a future meal. :) Platanos Fritos, $8 - 5 Stars Gotta love Latin foods with their plantains. Simple and delicious. Theirs are perfectly prepared. Camarones de Ajillo, $19 - 3.5 Stars These shrimps are cooked in garlic, herbs, and cream. The herb butter sauce is excellent, but the shrimps' quality is just ok. We liked it enough but will not order again. Asado Negro Tips, $23 - 3.5 Stars 8 oz of NY strip are cooked cubed in asado sauce, served with yuca fries and quasaca, a mini tomato and avocado salad. Again, the asado sauce is excellent, but the steak pieces are on the tough side. The yuca fries didn't stand out. This is also a 'liked it enough but won't order again' dish.
