    S'mores

We came here during opening day in the late afternoon time. We ordered regular chocolate chip, peanut butter 2x chocolate chip, 2x s'mores, cookies n cream, triple chocolate chunk, white chocolate macadamia, and I think that's all. The cookies are giant with a dense interior. They were also freshly baked, warm, soft, gooey, and perfectly crispy on the outside. My 10-yr old and I loved the s'mores flavor, and my husband loved his peanut butter chocolate cookie. The workers were all accommodating, positive, and friendly. Definitely can't come here often or you might gain some serious pounds, but a great treat for once in a while.

Loved this new cookie place. The service was great. Everyone was super nice. The cookies were really good. The brownie cookie was a little much. Which is something I normally never say but it had more chocolate and brownie than cookie.

"Not Enough Bang for the Buck" I recently stopped by Bang Cookies - 16625 Rose Creek Blvd Suite 150, Edmond, OK 73012, and left wondering how this place became such a hype machine. My order was four regular cookies and two mini cookies, and the total came to $24.57. Their regular cookies run about $5.00-$5.50 each depending on flavor, which is outrageous for what amounts to a normal-sized cookie. And if the individual prices don't already make your wallet nervous, take a look at the box pricing -- a box of 12 cookies runs around $55 and can go even higher depending on the assortment. That's over fifty dollars for a dozen cookies. The marketing calls them "giant cookies," but that description is doing some serious heavy lifting. These are not giant cookies. They're basically regular cookies, and the "mini" version is simply half of that. In the photos I even placed a quarter next to the cookies for size comparison, because calling these giant is misleading. Texture-wise, the cookies were crispy on the outside to the point of being borderline stale, hard, or burnt -- it's difficult to tell which. The center is somewhat soft, but the outside is so overcooked that you basically end up throwing away most of the cookie and just eating the middle. Paying five dollars for the center of a cookie is not exactly a winning experience. When you walk inside, you don't get that warm, fresh-baked cookie smell you expect from a bakery. Instead it smells more like burnt oven or hot burners, which doesn't exactly scream premium dessert experience -- but it does seem to match the taste of the cookies, so that probably explains it. A big part of the appeal here seems to be the trend and hype surrounding it, with people coming in more for the experience and the buzzwords like organic and premium than for anything particularly special about the cookies themselves. But if you're looking for a straightforward review, these are just cookies. Nothing special. Nothing memorable. Nothing you couldn't easily make yourself at home or possibly buy from a grocery store bakery. Maybe this is a once-in-a-while novelty stop if you're curious about the hype, but between the price, the overcooked texture, and the marketing that doesn't match reality, it's not a place I would recommend to friends. If you enjoy following trends, taking selfies with overpriced desserts, and jumping on the latest bandwagon, this place will probably fit right in -- but if you have taste buds and common sense with your bank account, you can definitely do better somewhere else.

After some brunch, we decided to try Quincy's since they moved to a new location. First, just so…read moreyou know when looking for Quincy's, it's in a small strip of businesses next to each other without much signage. The most signage was a piece of paper that said Quincy's so keep an eye out. Their choices were pretty slim. They might have had at most 8 different choices, which is fine, but only one of each for a few items. This was about 10am. Their specialty chocolate pastry was really good. It had a good chocolate flavor without being too indulgent. Their blueberry lemon scone was not good at all. Super dry, the flavor was more of flour if anything. I also bought a sugar cookie which my daughter loved, but I just couldn't get over paying $6 for the scone my husband and I didn't care for. Otherwise the other two items were good. No seating, so don't plan to hang around. They also don't have any coffee either at this location.

I love this place! This is one of my top 3 places in the City to study, do work, or even chat up…read morewith friends. It's inside the Bradford house. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. I love their coffee & pastries! If I could help you choose one pastry their chocolate babka I couldn't recommend more. I'll attach photos! Coffee would be their Dulce miel or ask about their seasonal drinks! Keep in mind It is an open space so people will host meetings or people gather but nothing some headphones can't solve. They also have a patio where you can sit with tables. There's a restaurant and bar also located within the premises would definitely check those out. They also host events or wine nights definitely ask the staff!

Eh. Firstly, do not…read morecome here expecting ButterSweet Cupcakes, it may be similar, but it's since changed hands. The lady running the place could be friendlier. She had a miserable attitude when I was there and made it very uncomfortable and uninviting while ordering. I asked for the dozen count mix of small cupcakes, which turns out are not prepackaged like they are at most places, you pick each one of the dozen for some reason here. They only had 6 different types so had to double up on a few. Price is a 1/5, almost $30 for a dozen mini cupcakes is insane. Taste is a 2.5/5. It was very confusing, some like the blueberry cupcakes were pretty good - though they tasted more like a muffin. But the chocolate was so dry and artificial tasting it wasn't edible. The pumpkin ones were okay, but overall nothing better than a grocery store bakery. Presentation is a zero, she smooshed them all when closing the lid, which was just lazy. I don't get it, maybe it was just an off day or something but I was NOT impressed and it was a disappointing treat for a birthday. Only half were eaten if that tells you anything. I'll stick with some of the other local cupcake shops next time.
