Check them out. Thank me later. Park in their parking lot. My pistachio based cake was quite flavorful. However, it was a dense cake. It was good but I had expected it to be lighter. Yes, I'll get it again. Good prices.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a really cool coffee shop and dessert bar in downtown OKC and they are open fairly late (and by late I mean like 10 or 11:00 on a Saturday night).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was great and there are so many pretty sitting areas with antique furniture and art and lamps and mirrors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's like sipping tea or coffee in an antique parlor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not sure where they get their desserts, but my friend went on and on about the Italian Creme Cake he ordered. The service was great, we were not rushed at all. I took off one star because while they have their own parking lot, it's not free parking.

Late evening coffee x ice cream?! Definitely for me. I appreciate that they're creative with their flavors and I feel they are bringing something different to the city. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, there is lots of seating options in the two separate rooms with couch seating, small and large tables, and hangout spaces.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Theres usually a line to order but it goes by pretty quick and the wait isn't long! We went on a Friday around 8:30pm and parking was an issue - the lot was full from people using it for surrounding venues. The parking is free if you validate in Perets otherwise, it's expensive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the vibe is chill and great. The dessert and coffee is delicious. And it's a fun place to be early or late evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (Plus, they occasionally have events and live music.)

This is one of my all time favorite dessert places here in the city. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the fact that I can come in and study and do my work while being able to eat something tasty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Truthfully, I think the best thing that they offer here is their affogatos with their seasonal flavors. The dirty chai affogato is to die for. I also really enjoy their Matcha lattes, both iced and hot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing I would say negative about the space is that sometimes it's hard to focus in there because the music is turned up too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So, my noise canceling headphones really are a must for whenever I wanna go study or do work.

Iced coconut rhubarb tea and a pretty in pink ice cream!

I've tried a lot of things on the menu and I have always loved every item!! The iced dirty chai is a favorite of mine as well as the ice cream! The staff is so friendly and helpful and keeps the line moving quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is so nice and cozy with comfortable seating and jazz music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's truly an experience, not just a coffee![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's also a great place to sit and do homework, read, or catch up with friends !

It's been awhile since I have been here and some things have changed: 1. Parking is now done differently. Do not pay for parking until you are inside Perets where they have a QR code you scan so that you get two hours free. If you pay first and then do this it does not reimburse you for the time you paid rather it will just extend the time by adding the two free hours. When I first visited here it was to chat with friends so two hours was plenty but I use coffee shops more to work on things now so having to pay for parking if i want to stay longer is just unappealing when there are other coffee shops with free parking. I guess I would be tempted to do so if I have to work on things late at night since they are open so late. 2. They changed their buzzers- this is good! Last time I was here they were so loud and annoying and now they alert you in a more quiet way. 3. I had their panna cotta again but while last time they had mango coconut this time it was blackberry lavender. I couldn't finish it. The blackberry top was very tart and the bottom of it was just... not good. I was so disappointed because I loved their mango coconut flavored one. I also had a matcha latte with oat milk and the oat milk overpowered the taste of the matcha. I've had this combination in other coffee shops and the oat taste doesn't usually come across so strongly so it must just be the brand they use. The seating areas are still beautiful (although the bathroom surprised me because it has a different vibe and was a little messy with toilet paper on the ground)

    Entrance in a weird spot

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a super cute dessert and coffee shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's kind of weird to find as the entrance is facing a parking lot, but once you get in and up the elevator, it's this huge shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loads of seating and beautifully antique decor and furniture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My chai latte was delicious. Reasonably priced for drinks and beautiful dessert. I grabbed 3 desserts to go. Barista was very nice.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a really beautiful place with a great interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do feel the prices are a bit on the higher side overall, but since I only had a regular coffee, it wasn't too pricey for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would definitely recommend going there, especially for the interior design--it's the highlight of the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is quite large; I didn't sit on the other side, but the area where I sat was very cozy, with comfortable chairs, mirrors, and lots of plants, which made it feel calm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also provide books, so if you're by yourself, you can work or read. If you're with friends, you can play games since they have those available too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a good spot for any group size, or even just a quick stop to grab a coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be a little tricky at first, especially if it's your first visit, but there is parking available near the café. It's located on the second floor, and they have clear signage everywhere, which makes it easy to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it's a nice, chill hangout space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What does the fox say? Have fun! Be aware!

Secrets don't make friends, but telling secrets to your friends strengthen friendships. What does the fox say? Be alert!! Enjoy your time in line, and be prepared to wait because good things come to those who do Perets is the best place in the world. Imagine a beautiful lush green wooded area with a narrow dirt path. The smell of fresh water, and the sound of water crashing on itself. Then as you make your way through the path the tree canopy opens wide, and you're face to face with a beautiful waterfall. Perets is better than that I call it parrots but I dont really know how to say it like if it's French like "pair A's" or maybe it's fast like "per its" or maybe it's "pair its"; I just don't know. You can get to this floor by going up the elevator or the stairs The service is always spectacular. They have their own parking lot, but lots of street parking is available. They have live music and other types of entertainment here. I am quite positive I took a dance class here before

    Turtle Affogato
    Summer S.

Found Peret's while searching "dessert" in OKC during a short weekend stay. If you love coffee and dessert you must try an Affogato. I ordered the Turtle w/decaf (as it was 9:30pm) and it was delicious! My husband enjoyed the Sopapilla for Mia. The unique space, board games and live music make it a fun spot to hang out. Also, the hunt for the secret menu was fun! Stevie helped us with our order and was delightful. Probably won't be back in OKC any time soon, but this visit was memorable.

    Love me lavender affogato
    Dillon L.

I love this concept - late night coffee shop to hangout or do your own thing. Don't have to go to a loud bar but can still find a gathering place. There should be more places like this! The seating area is surprisingly huge too once you go into the second room. Comfy couches, tables everywhere, what else could you want? We went for their famous affogatos and they didn't disappoint. That love me lavender was amazing. It's pricey tho at $12, despite being the most decadent affogato I've had that's a lot of money. Hard to say it's worth but for the overall experience and space it might be? All that to say I'd go again so take that as you will. They also offer decaf espresso but I went full send and got that caffeine after dinner

Discovered this cool coffee spot while walking in the area. I loved it! You can read a book, study, work, or play games with friends. Good people watching too! Delicious coffee and desserts from which to choose.

I wish I had known about this place back in college it's perfect for students or anyone looking for a cozy spot to work or unwind. The space is open, airy, and beautifully designed, with "dark academia" vibes that make it ideal for studying, reading, or hanging out. I absolutely love their coffee, and the ice cream affogato is a must-try. On top of that, the people who work here have always been so kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It's such a lovely spot that I find myself coming back often to read a book, get some work done, or simply relax.

It was $8 for rolled Icecream in a cup and $10 for rolled ice cream in a taco waffle cone. My family ordered $38 worth of rolled ice cream, 4 flavors, one in a dish and 3 in taco for. It was nice to watch through the window. Made me nervous with the whole covid thing going on. They did have sanitizer available if needed. Once our ordered were ready we picked them up. They looked good. But, upon taste they all lacked flavor. It was so bland. It was as if the poured milk on the frozen plate and put whatever ingredient in the milk to make the rolled ice cream. There was no sweetness to it. I was supposed to have Oreo ice cream. It was like watered down Icecream. I noticed the toppings they use. All toppings for my Overdose lacked flavor, except for the whipped cream. If my memory serves me Right it was squeeze bottles of the Smuckers brand. Their sauces are not the best. My flavor said it was topped with Oreos and the ice cream was Oreos. It was not Oreos, it was the generic brand of a chocolate sandwich cookie. I was not impressed, alone with so many others. The price for my Overdose taco was $10. I feel it was way over priced. If there was better ingredients, and it tastes great, $10. But, $5 is what mine was worth. I really hope they change things around, because I would love to see them last for many years. Do not cut corners.

We also opted for a nearby restaurant or food trucks. Until we finally walked in and gave it a shot. Now I'm a little upset we took so long to do it! I got the Park Power Bowl - quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado hummus, roasted chickpeas, candied jalapeños, almonds, and a little more. The candied jalapeños were the best part, but the whole bowl was amazing! And it was huge! I only at half and took the rest home. The kids got an uncrustable and the chicken bites and shared some fries - pretty standard, exactly what you expect. But my husband got a burger. For the life of me can't remember which one now, but he was so surprised with how good it was that he ordered a second to take home with us. I surprised the kids with a seasonal Lemon Pound Cake shake to share for dessert. I'm not a huge fan of milkshakes, but it was tempting to get a second just so I didn't have to share this with the kids! I don't know if it was the Lemon Pound Cake in there or if they secretly added some crack, but our straw was slurping the very bottom just from the time it left the counter and made it outside to the sidewalk walk. I will forever try any new food trucks that come around, but on days they aren't at scissor tail but I am, Spark will have my business now.

A New #1 Burger in OKC!…read more Our Burger Passport adventure brought us to Spark at Scissortail Park, and I think I may have found my new favorite burger in Oklahoma City! This was our first visit, and from the moment we took our first bite, I couldn't stop telling my wife how incredible these burgers were. I ordered the BLC Burger topped with pimento cheese, bacon, a crispy cheddar crust, pickles, and Prairie Ranch. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the crispy cheddar crust took it over the top. Outstanding! My wife, Lori, ordered the Spark Burger, swapping the American cheese for cheddar. She absolutely loved it, especially the fresh dill pickles that added the perfect crunch and flavor. The crinkle-cut fries deserve a shout-out, too. They were cooked just the way I like them--nice and crispy. I ordered the signature Pink Sauce on the side, and the garlic aioli was excellent. Before we left, I asked to speak with a manager--not because there was a problem, but because I wanted to compliment the team. Marisol was genuinely excited to hear how much we enjoyed our meal. She also told us about their limited-time Chicken Salad Sandwich, available through the end of the summer, and after this experience, I think we'll definitely be back to give it a try. Spark checks every box for me: outstanding burgers, perfectly cooked fries, a fun atmosphere, and a friendly, welcoming staff. If you're looking for one of the best burgers in Oklahoma City, put Spark on your list. This one earns an easy 5 stars from me.
