If you're looking for a fantastic Thai restaurant, *Tani Thai* is a must-visit! We went at around 4 PM and had a wonderful time. Parking is free and right out front. The restaurant is dimly lit, the host was very welcoming, and everything was clean. The Food (each came w/ a small portion of white rice): *** Pad Thai (veggie): Delicious! It had a wonderful balance of flavors--both sweet and savory--and the portion size was generous enough to share (2 to 3 people). I'm looking forward to trying it with chicken next time. *** Crispy Duck: This one wasn't for me since I'm not a big fan of duck, but my husband really liked it. *** Cocky Bob (their Honey Garlic Chicken): The star of the meal! It was crispy, sweet, and absolutely incredible. I'd make a special trip just to eat this again. Overall, Tani Thai was an excellent spot for delicious Thai food. I recommend anyone in the Pinecrest area or anywhere in Miami to give it try. I'll definitely be back!

This is a phenomenal dining experience! So much so, that we ate here two nights in a row! Trust that we will be back as we work our way through the menu. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are amazing. I don't believe there is more authentic Thai cuisine to savor even in Thailand. The service is beyond five stars and we were even greeted by name upon our return the second night. Needless to say everyone is welcome and the ambiance is family friendly.

The food was amazing!! Prices very reasonable. Super fast friendly service. I thought it was a hole in the wall, didn't know what to expect. The inside is pretty, and a relaxed environment. We had the crispy duck, curry rice, pork steamed dumplings and chicken Curry massaman. To drink Jasmine hot Tea. One portion of each was enough yo feed three of us plus leftovers to go! What am incredible find in Kendall Mi

First time coming here and it left a great impression! Service was quick and friendly and the food was tasty! The place was quiet and clean. My friend had the pad thai which looked amazing. I had the Panang chicken curry and it was very flavorful! But the star of the show had to be the cocky Bob. Wow! It's crispy chicken with a honey glaze and let me tell you that it was to die for; la cosa mas rica del mundo caballero. Anyway, if you're thinking of checking this spot out, don't hesistate.

I can't visit Palmetto Bay without stopping at Tani Thai! My boyfriend is from Miami and grew up very close to this location. His dad and mom used to take him before his father passed. We were finally able to visit the last couple times and it's been such a joy seeing how much happiness comes out of him when we eat the food him and his father used to share. Thanks for sharing memories we can't get back. Anytime I visit Tani we get greeted the moment we walk through the door. Whether it's lunch time or dinner time we are always greeted with a comforting joy, as if mom was saying hi after coming home from a long day of school. I always go for the usuzukuri, which is thinly sliced (sashimi) fish. It's so delightful and comes with a gorgeous ponzu. I get a side of jalapeño because it pairs so well but it tastes beautiful without. Also recommend getting the cocky bob and pad thai!

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend. The looks of the place are regular degular but the food is so good! Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service was efficient. 10/10 def recommend. We will be back to try other options!

Pretty and cute estaurant located in downtown Buford. The place was nice, Pretty and nice staff but super slow service. That was overshadowed though by the delicious food they had. Everything we ordered was tasty and their lychee martini was nice too. Prives can be higher than other spots but I feel the place is definitely worth the visit.

We went to this place on a wimb and we're thoroughly impressed! The price was a little high but the portions of the food definitely made up for it. Also, the hospitality was impeccable. Our waitress so nice and helpful and we loved our time there. We will for sure be back!

It's good, their spice levels are epic. But without the spice there is no flavor. It's missing the "cherry on top"

It's a very busy restaurant and even though Japanese, we had to ask for ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. I didn't enjoy the omakase choices. Some dishes were under salted, the steak bites were way heavily salted and the filler rice dish was terribly sour. We ordered off the regular menu - the uni sushi was not fresh. It left a guttery bitter after taste. A huge pass. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the service, food or pricing. It turned out pretty $$$$ too. And I wasn't even full. Check out the photos.

I could not…read morefollow that rule with Kuffo though...this restaurant is simply too good to not return again and again. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandma. How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in. Often. kuffo is that good!

Not only was the food outstanding at Kuffo, but the service was also exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's cozy and cute ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a nice chill dinner or lunch.
