Really small portions at a very premium price. Disappointing taste. Won't eat here again. Even the rice portion was extremely stingy, I've never seen such a small rice container. Sad.

Mom and I were gonna go to the Mexican restaurant for dinner, but we saw the sign for Bangkok Bistro and decided to eat there instead. Boy, am I glad we did! The food was delicious and our server was friendly and gracious. We started with the shrimp avocado appetizer, which was yummy. I had a bowl of hot and sour mushroom soup, which was the best I've ever had! Mom had basil glass noodles with chicken, and I opted for the vegetable pad Thai glass noodles. Both were fantastic! There were plenty of open tables, and our booth was clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back!

Is it bad to be addicted to Thai Crispy Cream Cheese bites? Is it bad to lick peanut sauce off of your plate while in public? Asking for a friend. Regardless I wouldn't want to be in a world where these things were frowned upon because then I wouldn't be so blessed to have the Bangkok Bistro within drooling, I mean driving distance. I'm starved for this kind of fare and have found few places as friendly, quick and delicious. We had the aforementioned cheese bites, plus the crispy and tasty spring rolls, Chicken Satay and Peanut Sauce with tofu. And, and oh my finally some Thai Tea Bubble Tea. Really great service and excellent food. Sawatdee! This is a Thai greeting meaning you are blessed. Indeed.

I've had terrible Thai in Delaware and have been looking for something bordering on tasty...this place wasn't the worst but certainly isn't the best. It seems like a Chinese interpretation of Thai....I could taste a sweet chicken cornstarch broth that had been used as a stir fry base. I initially ordered Drunken Noodles...they were cooked with the wrong noodles and with the exception of the spice, completely bland. I switched to Pad See Ewe and added crushed red peppers. This has slightly more flavor, a bit heavy on the oyster sauce, but still lacked any dimension. Disappointed but at least I've checked off lunch for the day. Service was fast and pleasant.

The essence of Thai food is all about balance - achieving the perfect harmony between sweet, sour, hot, and salty. Even though Thai food uses many of the same core ingredients as other southeast Asian countries: chili, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, fish sauce, palm sugar, and lime juice. Good Tai chefs manage to retain a unique flavor. Thailand's various regions all have complex cooking styles, flavors, and unique dishes. This is simply one of the best Tai restaurants we have been to and we are looking forward to coming back.

Delicious Mussuman curry with a sprinkle of roasted peanut halves and a side of jasmine rice. He got a side of peanut sauce on the pad Thai which "took it to the next level." They were out of Singha so we tried the Leo and it was crisp and flavorful, imported from Thailand. We tried the homemade mango ice cream and it was mild, with chunks and a hint of mango flavor but creamy and not icy nor anything like sorbet. Service by Marlin was prompt and friendly. Altogether a great choice, as evidenced by tables of happy customers including some regulars.

First time visiting BB having heard so many good things about it; delicious drunken noodles, very friendly service, and a cute space - can't wait to return!

The outside sign says Thai Bistro and inside say Bangkok Bistro so I wasn't sure where I was eating at. The place was clean but the decor is poor. Black decals of skylines on the wall really doesn't take me on a journey. We were waited on quickly since there was only one other occupied table. We ordered fried cream cheese wonton, they were good and hot. I ordered the Big Bowl Bangkok soup. Honestly I wasn't impressed. The bowl was big but it was half full of soup. See pic. The chicken was bland. It was boiled then added to the soup. I found 2 small shrimp and noodles. The broth was good but not a lot of seasoning. It was an OK soup. They also didn't bring any basil, jalapeños or bean spouts for the soup. I like the deep flavored soups I usually get at Thai or Vietnamese restaurant and this wasn't super flavorful. Not bad. The Pad Thai was a heat level 1 when we wanted a 3 . It made your nose run but no sweats.lol it was good but again the chicken was the same as the soup a,bland. See pics. I asked for the spice tray and it had my favorites . We will go back again. Probably won't order the soup. We would order the cream cheese appetizer and the Pad Thai again.

Outstanding meal last night (Sunday)…read more Started with a cup of Tom yum soup with veggies. The broth (medium heat) was very flavorful and the soup had lots of good, well cooked (not mushy and not too hard) veggies. I had a special seasonal item - Heavenly Salad - billed as addictive and delicious. When it was served, it looked like a simple fruit salad. But it was truly delicious. The sweetness of the fruit combined with spiciness added to the juice, the cherry tomatoes. Everything blended together. The server said this is something served in her home town in Thailand. Really good. Light (mostly fruit), but very filling. Also includes nuts. My partner had the drunken noodles (medium spice) with pork. Very successful dish. Delicious. Huge portion. We also got a side of broccoli. I thought the broccoli was undercooked and was kind of "meh". My partner thought it was good. The service was very good and the place is bright and comfortable.

The photos look so good online but they were overcooked, bland & looked like the veggies were cooked from frozen packets. 0/10 The wonton soup water chicken water (not broth), the wontons were ready to dissolve before I could eat them, and this dish also lacked any flavor at All. They have a handful of entrees, which looked great, but my party ordered a bunch of small plates to share amongst ourselves, which I feel is the best way to enjoy the menu. We had the Toragashi Tuna, Soup Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Wok-Fried Green Beans, and Spicy Cucumbers. Most of the menu items have heat and spice, so if you're intolerant to spicy foods be sure to mention it to your server. Speaking of whom, the staff is exceptional. The host was very accommodating and charming. Very professional yet friendly. The server was excellent -- very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. The chef brought out our food and checked on us personally to make sure we were enjoying the food. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't hover around as some tend to do. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chic and trendy. The lighting is low but not too dim, the decor is tasteful and modern. They have a bar near the entrance and 12 tables (and a table/booth combination). The restrooms are gender neutral and single occupancy. As you might imagine for a vacation spot, the small restaurant is quite busy. Reservations are recommended and can be made on their website.

The staff was extremely kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks were wonderful, and came out very fast - I recommend the Golden Kick, or the Ginger Bliss.
