In town on business. Had a taste for some noodles and thought I'd try this place. First the menu on YELP is no longer accurate. 2nd time this has happened in so many days. Getting annoying. Ordered drunken noodles and won ton soup. The won ton soup was luke warm and contained 3 pot stickers not won tons. Bit disappointing. Drunken noodles were ok. Veggies were crunchy. Chicken was good. Noodles were very clumpy and a bit cold. The portion was just so-so for the price. The place can fit a fair number of guests. Looks like about 6 couples eating. I was the only take out I could see. Typical Thai look on the place. Overall just blah. The person that helped me was nice and friendly. But every other part was not special or stand out. I'll try another place next time. read more

This place is fantastic. Went on a deep search while traveling in White Pigeon for work and saw this place. I started with the House Salad which was fantastic. The warm peanut dressing was delicious. I also got a lunch order of the Yellow Curry with Chicken. I was a bit worried as I'm not used to the pineapple and peppers in mine but man was it good. This is our first time ordering takeout. The orange chicken was dry and chewy with very little orange flavor. My sweet and sour chicken was flavorful but the vegetables need cooked longer they were hard as if they were barely cooked. Plenty of sauce tho. The bright spot for this meal was the spring rolls. The diningroom and service are fantastic. The Tom Kha soup was okay. It was not spicy, was really light on the coconut and had no lemongrass or other flavors. It did have a of chicken in it. The choo choo duck was decent. The veggies were fresh and flavorful. The pad kee mow was really bad. It was made with pad Thai noodles. The sauce was like a sour gravy. The Pad Thai is my go to, but occasionally I can be adventurous and order outside of my comfort zone and I've always been happy with my choice. Husband typically orders the Pad Mee... he loves it. Some of the best Thai we have ever had. Very good vegetarian and vegan options. Entire place was very clean and the service was top notch!

I looked this place up online and it clearly indicated a 9pm closing time. I drove 40 minutes to get here. walked in at 8:09 pm. When I asked to be seated they told me the kitchen closed at 8pm. DO NOT go out of your way to eat here. No interest in customer service. If you think it makes since to close your kitchen at 8pm and storefront at 9pm, just indicate that online. read more

I travel frequently to Elkhart. In the past three months, I've ordered take out twice and have a good experience each time, food is very good, very friendly workers! A couple suggestions, 1) automatically include additional napkins, 2) ask if the customer would like a paper plate (otherwise, you eat out of a typical chinese take out box), 3) make the website more user friendly. A totally ordinary and disappointing place. We had two dishes: the Spicy Noodles and the Vegetarian Pad Thai. In both instances the noodles were way over cooked and amounted to a mushy mess. The other ingredients did not seem freshly cooked but rather prepared way in advance and simply added to the mushy noodles before serving. We did get these as take out so we did not have an opportunity to send the dishes back which we definitely would have done had we been dining in. read more

Recently moved to Elkhart and have past this restaurant many times. We finally stopped in. Small intimate restaurant we a charming decor. We stopped for lunch only couple there with one other customer. It took a minute to get seated. The one customer must have been a regular as he yelled to the back that they had customers. First time customer. I tried the yellow curry. It was fantastic. This is definitely a place I'm going to come back to time and time again. Price point is a little bit more than my normal. So I won't be back too often, but I definitely will be as often as my budget allows. The food was delicious. Portions were "normal" American lunch size. Personally I get 2 lunches out of it. Don't judge a book by it's cover or outer decor. The inside is nice, outside seems a bit run down. I've always enjoyed food from the smaller establishments. The place was reasonably clean, nobody in the place, but a couple pick-ups and grub-hub delivery drivers came through. Was hungry, but only ordered the Pad Thai. I don't know what I was served, but it was a poor excuse for PT. First, it was soupy...like I could have saturated a napkin with the watery sauce. Second, I know that we butcher PT in the US, but the amount of sweet compared to salty and spicy was off the charts. LOTS of sugar was used in this one. Finally, I can accept some variability in the quality of the chicken, but every bite of chicken had connective tissue. Yuck. Won't be back, I suggest you pass. read more

Great food! Traveling from Chicago to Cleveland, I get tired of "road food" and this place is the perfect cure. Golden Bag is yummy, the red curry with chicken is super tasty with the right amount of zest --pro tip: if it's too spicy for you, add the white rice to soak up some of the chili heat. We had dinner here. The place was almost empty and only had two other tables during our dinner. We were greeted with a shout from the register to sit anywhere. We were served water and asked what we'd like to eat. My wife asked for her dish not to have any protein (no real veggie option that was appealing to her), and the young man taking our order all but made fun of her. He rolled his eyes and gave her a look like she was crazy but did agree to ask them not to add chicken after arguing with her that she either had to have chicken or tofu. We should have left at that point as I really didn't appreciate his disrespect towards my wife. He was young so I shrugged it off as I assume he just wasn't raised with any manners. The food was OK...definitely not good Thai food but not horrible either. The service was non existent. I had to literally go and fill my water glass myself from behind the register about 3/4 way through dinner, as no one checked on us at all. At this point, there was only one other couple eating. Ambience is decent. A little dark but I think that's what they're going for. This restaurant is definitely over rated but could be much better with some staff training. read more

Went there twice in three days! Service was excellent both times. This is a great little gem in Elkhart. The food at this place definitely rivaled some of the places thai places I've eaten at. I moved here from the San Francisco Bay area and there are hundreds of thai places...my wife and I have eaten at most of them. Having said that, I would absolutely recommend this place. I had the Yellow Squash Curry on one day, and the Thai Country Noodles the next visit. Delicious. They give a scale of 1-5 for spiciness. I asked for a four...it was definitely a four. A five would be pretty damn hot for most anyone. My wife got a three and that had a nice kick. The portion sizes were perfect. There wasn't enough left for my big appetite for leftovers, however, I was totally satisfied. A friend of mine got the pad thai so I got a taste of that, too...it was actually more sour than any of the pad thai dishes I've had. It was still good, but definitely more tart than others. Overall, a great experience with some really friendly owners and staff. We will be coming back. read more

Driving through and stopped here for a hearty dinner. My dad and I loved the curry the most.

The Tofu red curry was pretty good. The green beans included in the curry could have been cooked a bit longer - a bit crispy and too close to being raw. But the tofu pieces were large and cooked well. Portion sizes and prices during lunch were good. I could'n't finish my curry dish which came with about a cup of steamed white rice. Hidden gem on the roads of Indiana here. If you're looking for a healthier place amongst all the garbage nearby, this is your answer. Came in from a long drive towards Chicago, and had the vegetarian tom khar soup. People I'm telling you, you have to get this! Even if you're getting something else, get a bowl of this.
