This type of cuisine is so very needed in this area of Connecticut but unfortunately BR doesn't deliver the goods. The staff are sweet and so attentive and accommodating but the food is rather bland for Thai and just misses the punch that Thai dishes tend to have. Came here months ago and sat at the bar and had a fabulous lychee martini. The place is cute and the bar is great. Calamari was ok but my meat dish and chicken pad Thai were not memorable at all. I wouldn't go back to this place it is a nightmare! They are severely understaffed, unorganized, disrespectful,neglectful and unfriendly. I ordered soup and it tasted like it was rancid. The other appetizer I ordered just tasted like over cooked crap. The main entree and desert were decent. I just can't get over how gross and unkind the staff were. A friend and I were sick to our stomachs after eating.We all agreed that we wouldn't want to go back ever again. In fact after eating because I was feeling sick from the food I rushed to the bathroom. Some complete schmuck darted out right in from of me and went in. It didn't help that the atmosphere and the people were really miserable. One friend commented that they seemed like a bunch of pretentious snobs. Never again what a joke this place is. The staff was very very kind. The inside is beyond beautiful, has a nice and calm atmosphere. The decorations are spectacular. You almost feel like you were in Bangkok:) ! I had Chicken Drunken Noodle. Portion is perfect and the spice was right. It was definitely one of the best thai dish I ever had! We went and picked up some takeout last night. The food was pretty good but the portions were on the small side for the prices. I have eaten in the restaurant and it was good and portions were more generous. My drunken shrimp noodles had 5 shrimp in it and my husband had yellow curry with chicken. He said while the curry was good it wasn't enough chicken he said mostly onions and potatoes. They need to use bigger takeout containers. These were more like what you take home a little extra food in, not an entire meal. My drunken noodles were smashed in the container. Again, food is tasty but I think their takeout needs a little adjustment. We'll eat in next time. read more

I never write reviews. But the food at this place was so amazing I had to make a post. We love Thai food and Asian food in general and have our signature places that we go. This place tops them all... I'm guessing the people who left the negative reviews know nothing about food. Everything we had was fresh, authentic, and flavorful. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.... I pass by this restaurant every day and was excited to try it as I love Thai food. I ordered the Gyoza, which had a tasty filling, but a soggy and glue like wrapper. The Pad See-Eaw was totally tasteless, overcooked. The Chicken fried rice was just as dreadful, tasteless with huge chunks of mushy tomatoes and overcooked rice. The service was kind of bad, it took more than 10 minutes to get a water and beers on the table. The space is also small and gets crowded for dinner. I had the chicken pad thai and shrimp spring rolls and my boyfriend had the drunken noodles. Pad Thai was average. Spring rolls- wouldn't get them again, there were huge chunks of cilantro in one corner of each of them which was very overwhelming and they did not serve it in an easy way to eat. Meaning that once we picked it up the clear noodle shell around it fell apart, I've ordered spring rolls before and that's never happened. Superb Thai food in a very pretty and welcoming restaurant. This has always been a tough road for incoming restaurants. They come-they go. This one is a WINNER. Delicious food and a staff that cares that you're there. Today we both had the chaing Mai curry noodle soup with an abundance of shrimp , very light long spinach noodles, coconut milk, a hint of Thai chili pepper, and every other element that Thai food should be. Good Thai food and nice atmosphere. Just make sure you do not go too late for dinner as they start cleaning the kitchen at around 1/2 hour before closing time with a strong ammonia solution you can smell in the dining room. I had to convert my order to take out and finish at home. Since they close at 10, if you are seated by 8PM you should be safe. read more

I order from here frequently on Uber eats. The veggie rolls are crispy and delicious. I also love the curry puffs and pad Thai. My dad goes with the soups. Nice little gem to enter town where there are not many Thai options. Inside seating is nice too with a bar area and sitting area for small or larger groups. Decent Thai food... better than most in the area. But it's hard to get good Thai food anywhere in the area.

Half the time I order carry out it is either wrong, missing something in the order or the food is poorly prepared. Curry duck might as well be called curry wood. Many of the pieces of duck were overcooked, and sometimes it is served with bone splinters. Perhaps it adds texture, but I prefer to have my duck without pieces of bone in the mix. The "Pho" is often made without all the advertised ingredients, rendering a bowl of nearly clear, bland tasting broth. The hired help there tries to satisfy, but often their English is very poor, so online ordering is an improvement over trying to make ones self understood. Go elsewhere to find a better example of ethnic food, especially Thai food. read more

Very good authentic Thai food, lovely Thai staff are attentive. Small and quiet with nice low lit atmosphere, gorgeous marble bar. Excellent curries, mild medium and hot, reasonable prices, house wines are fine. Lots of apps (cheesy stars; crabmeat with cream cheese, a guess) are amazing as are the dumplings. read more

Food is average. I've been several times and find that none of the dishes have much taste; further, many of their sauces are very watery. I have to ask for their chili condiments every time to add some flavor. The one exception is their Tom Yum Goong soup which is very good. Cocktails are decent and prices reasonable. Was really happy to see a Thai place in wilton- the town needs more variety. This place is great - had the pad see ew and green curry- it was great- the white rice portion was small but they gave us extra. My family has ordered take out twice and the food has been very good. We have been looking for a good Thai place since we moved from the West Coast, and this is now our go to place and it close to us. You can order from their togo menu online which I always appreciate that convenience. I have gotten the Pad See-Eaw twice and it has been well flavored and a really good version of this dish. They're off to a good start. We went a week or so after they opened. As is typical for a brand new restaurant, service was a little discombobulated. They were very attentive but by the end of the meal, we had no idea who our server was. There were 5-6 waitstaff on duty and they seemed to all be handling all the tables. The food was very good. This area could use a good Asian restaurant and Thai fits the bill nicely. The food was flavorful, well-prepared and presented and came out pretty quickly though the restaurant was busy. Definitely our go-to place around here for Thai food. I always judge a Thai restaurant for its Pad See Ew--wide rice noodles rather than the narrow ones used in the more typical Pad Thai. I ordered mine with shrimp, and it was almost too much to eat, but utterly delicious. It's a hard dish to find in many Thai restaurants. They serve the main dishes in bowls that are tipped toward you, making eating easy--but what a serving! And best yet, are the Spring Rolls--quite uncommon in their crispiness; I generally order the veggie ones. Beautiful! I can't imagine that anyone would complain about the service. We've always found it polite and charming. Phooey on the review that said the food was not authentic. I've tried several Thai restaurants and, to my mind, this is the best around here. The only Pad See Ew that was ever this good was at Thai 55 restaurant near Hyde Park in Chicago. Don't even know if they're still in business. So happy to find such good Thai food close to home. read more

Something strange is happening here. For all the posts about great service, we experienced the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. It began with a server that struggled to understand English. She seemed to be a nice person but ill suited to her job. Then the food arrived on cold plates. The food was hot but quickly cooled before it could be consumed. The food itself was very good. Then came a long time in which we were ignored and the dirty dishes left on the table...some were never cleared even when dessert was served. Even getting the check and processing payment took a horribly long time. We even considered clearing the dishes ourselves! Worst of all, no one on staff seemed to care. An adjacent table waited so long to order that they got up and left. No amount of tasty food can make up for this experience. I do question how our experience could be so different from others. Did the normal staff all call in sick and they found replacements wandering in the parking lot? In any case, it will take time and more favorable reviews before I will try them again. read more
