Thanks to Melissa, I found the most comfortable pair of non-slip shoes I've ever worn. It really means a lot to me because I work on my feet constantly and have a lot of discomfort from my previous pair of shoes. Their selection is very limited and they didn't carry the style of black heel boots I wanted but I did find a pair of brown that I fell in love with and with the 30% off they roughly come out to about $45, not bad for a pair of boots. As I'm checking out I can't find the coupon, but was able to pull it up on my phone so they honored it than I go looking for my CC, no where to be found! Well, turns out I left it in my sweater the night before. Lucky for me the one associate placed it on hold overnight, although it was against policy. So the sunsets then rises. I get to work and look in my purse, where the heck is my wallet? Yep, on my bed where I was putting my CC back into but never placed it back in my purse. I called FF to let them know I had forgot my wallet and it was okay if they couldn't hold my shoes any longer, but Max, being the great guy he is said it wasn't a problem and left it on-hold over night again for me! Okay so 2 days later on the third day I made it in and my beautiful Tiara Fergalicious boots were waiting for me! They're extremely warm with the fur layer on the inside and quite comfortable.

Customer service is supposed to have a little bit of empathy to a certain extent depending on the situation. Just because my toddlers are loud and running around does not give a worker the right to have a negative judgement on what kind of shopper I am. I've been in retail for 7 years and on going, I would never make a PARENT or anyone who is obviously having a difficult time feel the way I did throughout this experience. I understand each shoe has to be checked when purchased but there is a much nicer way to ask instead of asking in a forceful manner with sarcasm/attitude especially during the situation I was having.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. I told them the exact shoe, color and size. Lissie checked and said they don't have them in store but was I willing to check another location? I said yes and she checked right then and there. She said another store had them and if I was willing to wait a day or two she would personally pick them up and bring them back to the location closest to me. I have never been offered that and thought that was super awesome! I "ordered" them today and will get them Thursday morning. Very excited and super impressed!

One thing I noticed is the selection as far as brands goes has really shrunk. If you like Nike (which I do) Footlocker has an excellent selection. I love this Vaughn Maher at Yorktown partial because of the sales tax and also partially because I…read morefeel like it's larger than the location in Glenview. Similar to the Glenview location it carries that same old school ambience which is really quite nice. They also sometimes have a live piano player as does Glenview, which is really fantastic and create a great feeling to add to that welcome Homie sense that they build. Similar to the Glenview location I will say again really great selection. They carry great brands however because I feel like it is slightly larger they carry even more product and therefore more options. Love coming here as usual parking is pretty easy inconvenient for Yorktown and so glad that old-school type department stores still exist somewhere here in the Illinois area.
