BANH MI CAFE SPECIAL
Pookie X.

I've been coming here for years, and it never misses! The vibe is super homey, and when you walk in, you're greeted by the sweetest lady ever. She's been there so long that I just call her my aunty at this point. Today, I did a little takeout haul--grabbed five banh mi sandwiches (Shrimp, Steak, Chicken, Special Combo & BBQ Pork). The wait time was super chill, maybe 15-20 minutes max. My usual go-to is the Special Combo, but since I was ordering for friends, I let them pick first. Ended up with the Shrimp Banh Mi today, which I hadn't had in forever. Solid 7/10. My dad knows I'm obsessed with the Special Combo, so he shared some with me, and yep--still a 10/10, no question. Aunty also has a deal where if you buy five items, you get one free, so I went for the spring rolls. They were pretty simple--just shrimp, carrots, and noodles--good but nothing crazy. 6/10. Now, back to the sandwiches! My friends gave the Chicken and BBQ Pork both an 8/10. The bread was soft, the meat and veggies were balanced just right, and overall, it was just chef's kiss. Honestly, I love banh mi so much. If you haven't been here yet, you're seriously missing out. Pull up!! Until next time :)

I've been here twice and the banh mi sandwiches (B2 is what I typically order) are so good! You should also try their fried shrimp and pork egg rolls. The ambiance is pretty basic which I appreciate!

The sandwich I bought was delicious! I ordered Teriyaki chicken long sandwich because everything else was sold out during the time I stopped by. It was my first time visiting there. The atmosphere was chill. The cashier was nice and professional. This location is located in one of the Asian plazas with other selections in the area. The parking is large so you won't have trouble finding parking spots. I do wanna try their other food on the menu next time. Visit there earlier.

@banhmicafe_duluth Banh Mi Cafe - Duluth, GA I'm always on the hunt for the perfect Banh Mi, so when I saw that Duluth had a spot named Banh Mi Cafe with good ratings, I knew I had to check it out. The interior is a bit older, so don't expect anything fancy, but the lady taking my order was super kind, and everything tasted delicious. Their Banh Mi sandwiches are fresh with good flavor--definitely worth trying. I also couldn't resist sampling their fresh rice spring rolls and the BUN GA XAO, which is stir-fried chicken on rice noodles with mixed green vegetables. There are *a lot* of vegetables, but they were all fresh and tasty. When you mix them with the chicken and noodles, it all makes sense why it's set up this way. Have you ever had a Banh Mi? If not, what are you waiting for?! Find a spot, order yourself a few, and make sure to let me know how it goes! #RoliEats #BanhMiCafe #DuluthGA #VietnameseFood #Goodeats #BanhMi #FoodAdventure

Combination pho

I was craving pho on this cold day and found this place. I order for pick up and they told me it'll be ready in 15 mins. I got the shrimp spring roll, combination pho and shrimp and pork vermicelli. Everything was packed tightly and ready to go when I arrived. The place is located at the end of a strip with plenty of parking out front. I unpacked immediately when I got home and devoured the spring roll before snapping a photo. The roll was fresh, the only comment is that it can be wrapped a bit tighter. It came with the standard plum sauce with peanuts in it. I was able to share the pho (XL size), but there were only 2 slices of jalapeño and the onion was also cut inconsistently. The broth's flavor was decent and it satisfied my craving for pho. The vermicelli potion was small, had 3 pieces of shrimp and pork. The flavor of the meats were good. Overall, not bad for the price and quick service. I might come back to try their other menu items.

B2. BBQ Pork Bahn Mi

My first time trying Bahn Mi and it was pretty good! The meat had a nice flavor (BBQ pork) and there was a generous amount of pickled carrots. The Ratio of filling to bread could've been a bit better as it did feel a bit dry overall. The mini pork & shrimp egg rolls were the best part! They were packed full of filling and had a nice flavor. The interior appears well loved. A few tables had dirty dishes on them when we first arrived, but that's expected from a small mom & pop shop with two people working. Service was quick.

My favorite Banh Mi place in Atlanta. The portions are super filling and the price is hard to beat. We got the pork, chicken, and tofu banh mi. All of them were amazing, especially the pork and tofu. This place also has a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. The service is great as well -- everyone is super nice. The place itself is really cozy and welcoming. I've been coming here for years and it's always amazing.

Came back to this local gem after not having been since 2017 and glad to see them still doing well after the pandemic. Came with the idea to get pho but ended up getting a BBQ pork banh mi and shrimp and pork spring roll as well. The food was delicious and the customer service was friendly. The drink was served in cans and wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable and parking was relatively easy. The only downside to the restaurant is the cleanliness which seemed a little lacking but not terribly so. 3.8 stars rounded up make this a bonafide 4 stars in my book.

Fantastic!! We were so pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back. Everything we ate was delicious and well prepared. We couldn't stop thinking that it was just a little bit of home for us. ( we desperately miss good pho from San Diego, but this could definitely compete with San Diego Pho) Yummy Boba Thai Teas to drink; they even make sure to include all the extras you can put into your pho bowls. ** FYI, the small bowls are huge so don't get a bigger one unless your really hungry or want leftovers to take home Prices were great and very reasonable for the quality of food. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions, but really anything their chef makes is good. ** our only suggestion is to brighten up the inside a bit, the lighting was very little even for the day time and we were a little uncomfortable/ unsure if they were even open

I haven't been here since Covid. I was the only customer at 4PM on a Friday. I got the #2 bbq pork and avocado banh mi to go. I only had to wait a few mins. The bbq pork was pretty good. I really enjoyed the avocado banh mi. Their prices have gone up like a lot of other places to keep up with the cost of living. They're now $5 each instead of $3.

Our favorite Bahn Mi stop in Georgia. We've been going here the past 2 years ~ the food is VERY affordable, in large quantity, & yet never fails in quality. Things you should know: I. LOCATION On the end of a small plaza off off Satellite Blvd. There's a free private parking lot out front. II. SERVICE No complaints ~ the food always comes out relatively quick III. QUALITY Consistent ~ the bread they use here is amazing. I'd say the peanut sauce for the spring rolls is one of our favorites too (these little details can be hit or miss for us). IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating for a Sunday at noon.

This was my second time here and it definitely was just as good as the first. I ordered their promo where you get 5 banh mi sandwiches and get one free and ordered all chicken. I had two to eat at the restaurant and took the rest to go! We also ordered some Thai tea. The ladies that were working there stopped their conversation to attend us and that was much appreciated. Their service was quick and attentive as they quickly brought us water. I e didn't have to wait long and peacefully ate our food. The ambiance is very quiet and you are able to have a conversation with your company in a chill setting. The sandwiches were delicious but the Thai tea was definitely different than the first time as they added some fruit jelly to it and we didn't ask for it. Overall everything was great minus the Thai tea and was a great price. I'll definitely be back for that promo that is perfect if you want sandwiches for a picnic or road trip!

Order beef noodles, and soup was only warm, not hot. The few pieces of beef in the bowl seemed raw.

I hear people said this place is dirty, is it true?

When we visited it , not only was it clean, but the staff was actively seeking to maintain a SAFE, GERM FREE environment by placement of patrons within the dining area and sanitizing everything in an orderly/precise manner. Thus, we felt very…

What can be made vegan?

I remember them having a tofu option for their sandwiches, possibly fried tofu. Sorry I don't know enough about strict vegan and regulations but they appear to have meatless option from what I see on their menu.

Any vegan options?

I think YES!!

Do they have goi du du?

Yes it's super!!!!!!!

I don't typically get Vietnamese because I eat enough of it at home, but there's a good variety here where it's worth coming for. What my family, and my cousin in particular, really like from here is the bò lúc lắc or shaking beef. The spring rolls that you make yourself is also quite nice.
