Looking for a specific DGK skateboard, and found one for a good price, and promo code for free shipping at this place. Came in good timing I guess. But that's not the issue and the reason for the 2 stars. The reason for the two stars is when I finally opened the box and carefully removed the skateboard; upon seeing the amazing graphic DGK artwork, I noticed the skateboard looked like it had been used and stored in a dusty storage area-uncover. The grip tape was dirty, the bottom deck had wheel bite and other scratches as though it had been tested and ridin before. The trucks where supposed to be mini logo, but I saw no indication of this. The trucks were dusty af, and the banned wheels brand felt cheap. While I did a good job covering the dings and scratches with stickers (self-pat on the back), and I can easily change out the crappy trucks and wheels; for $100 I expected much better product. I sent them an email stating this, but haven't heard anything back, and asked if this was a used product or did I miss the description anywhere on the site. If I didn't have the intermediate skills to make this skateboard look better than it did, when I received it, I would've probably sent it back, and demanded a full refund. I unfortunately wont be buying from them again. I am not saying this is a horrible or a scam business, but I am giving my experience (since this is my first, and now only purchase from Banned). But buyers beware, your product my not come as pictured, and you may not get a response if you reach out. If they don't fix their business practices, they should be banned from doing business (pun intended). read more

My story is very similar to most of the reviews on here. Purchased an order, roughly $70, was sent confirmation that my order had been received and that I had paid an extra $10 for priority shipping. Literally never received another communication so far. It's been 2 weeks. Emails aren't responded to, the phone is disconnected. I reached out through facebook, through google, and three Instagram today. If they get a hold of me and I get my wheels, I'll raise the rating, if not it's going to be a one star like almost every other of you. Seems like this has been something of a pattern for up to four years. I build custom boards as a hobby and sell them with no markup, so I'm constantly dealing with tiny skate shops all over the country to get specific parts, and this is abnormal. read more

One of the very few choices in my attempt to find a local board shop in Redlands. Prior to my visit, the owner was very polite on the telephone, had everything I asked for (Darkstar boards are not common) and gave me driving directions. I was pleased to find friendly service. He built my son's Christmas present right in front of me after weighing my options and finding the best deal for what i needed. The price was fair and I will be returning to this shop! He even had an eager little skater elf that assisted! LOL. read more

Ordered a wallet from them. Received an email saying the wallet was shipped but I never received it. I emailed customer service to check the status and was told to be patient and that the wallet never shipped and I had not been charged. I responded to that email with a copy of my bank statement showing the charge from them but never received a response. I tried calling customer service and was told again to be patient and that they could not provide me with a tracking number since it was sent regular mail. So now a month later still no wallet and they just basically took my money. read more

Honestly, I am not impressed. The employee there was friendly to me, but the whole time she was chatting with her friend and swearing and talking bad about people and saying stuff like, oh I just want to sit here and watch Bob's burgers. The shoe selection was decent, but when I asked to try on two different ones, she said that they didn't have one of them, and she handed me what was supposed to be a pair of huf classic lows, but it wasn't even the right shoe, plus it wouldn't even go on my foot even though it was supposed to be my size. It felt like it was a girl's shoe, and it literally didn't even look anything like the shoe I had asked for. On top of that I had to wait literally 3-5 minutes for her to get the shoes out. The clothing selection was good, if you are a skinny kid who only wears tight clothing. Nothing other than a few flannels and sweaters would even fit me, and I like to wear a size bigger anyway, so I wouldn't have bought anything there. The prices were decent, but overall, customer service was poor, the employee seemed lazy, and didn't know jack about shoes. Pretty crappy experience to be honest. read more
