Unfortunately, one of the rolls had a weird spot on it that wasn't 100% vulcanized and was semi deteriorated. I called Mike and he offered to bring me a roll but it would be later in the day. Since I had equipment coming Tuesday, I kinda needed it fast. I asked if I needed to return the roll and Mike said nope, that's yours now. I'll replace it and give you a second roll for your trouble. When I walked inside, a man on the phone told me someone would be right with me, then walked away... Another employee was sitting at a computer. After about four minutes, he finally turned around and asked, "Can I help you?" His facial expressions and overall energy made it seem like he did not want to help me. When I explained that I had an appointment with Mike, he said Mike had left about 15 minutes earlier and asked if I had called him. I tried Mike again while the employee walked into the back, but he never returned I He was gonna call Mike as well... No one apologized, explained what happened or offered to reschedule. I was left standing there, so I walked out. Mistakes happen but this customer service was disappointing and unacceptable. Bike shops can already feel unwelcoming to women and this experience was a perfect example of why. If you are a woman, I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. It's not worth going in there. A polished public response after the fact won't change how I was treated in person.
