Yesterday at 3pm they wanted to intubate him and put him into a medical coma because his oxygen was so low. My mom requested an x ray multiple times and told the nurse to note the chart that the hospital denied the x ray so that if anything happened it was ON THE HOSPITAL. They threatened to leave today and they finally got an x ray over 24 hours later and he has DOUBLE PNEUMONIA in both lungs!!!!!!! If he would have died and you wouldn't have done an x ray as requested we would have sued the shit out of your hospital. After that we requested to be transferred to the valley because of the severity and they denied that too and explained they would have to find a hospital to transfer care, present his case etc. bullshit. If your patient was asking for an x ray multiple times why was it denied? They have insurance and are willing to pay for said x ray. This hospital is a piece of shit and tried to kill my dad. Do not go here. Make the drive to the valley if you can because if your health gets worse they won't transport you. ZERO FUCKING STARS.

They asked all the right questions and spoke to her directly instead of giving agency to me, her companion, for this visit. She's very much her own advocate and she's very disgruntled when medical staff address questions to someone other than the patient herself. They were patient and seemed to be expert at putting an elderly person at ease. She warmed up to these lovely folks quickly. What a great community resource.

We have been to his office for follow up 5 - 6 times and the problem is going away! His vision was 20/100 , now it is back to 20/40. This office and staff deserves 5 stars probably from everyone! Dr Brewer even wanted other docs looking at this. The Opthomologist said Dr Brewer had this under control. The office was a bit hard to find but it is on the Show Low side of Annie's Bistro! I walked into the office and went up to the counter. 4 people behind the counter, none of whom said hello or acknowledged my presence. There was a tablet on a post which is the only way to check in. I began the process but the first 4 things it asked me for were exactly what I filled out on line to save time. Then, I was required to list my gender identity and my pronouns. This is for an appointment with an eye doctor! I needed eye glasses! I went up to the counter and said I would like to check in with a human. 4 people behind the counter, but none could check me in. From the receptionist, to intake, to care givers--such an incredible group of people. I've been working with NP Sara Bennett and she's been wonderful! She takes time with me to listen to all my concerns and then put together a plan to either take care of them or tests to get to the bottom of what's going on.
