We had an excellent experience here with our daughter. From Kamiah at the front desk to David, the RN. They were so friendly and helpful. We made an appointment and waited only a bit for our turn after the paperwork. We saw the NP, Sarah, and she was great too. Everyone in our opinion had a great bedside manner and were willing to answer any questions we had. I would definitely use this location again, should the need arise. Excellent experience here in July 2025. I was very sick and on vacation and made an appointment online. Showed up and front office young woman was helpful and checked me in. Was called in at my appointment time and seen by NP Sarah immediately. She listened to me and was able to diagnose my issue and provided medication at the Walgreens in the same parking lot. I was very impressed with this urgent care facility. It was easy to book online and the receptionist was very welcoming. The young lady that took the routine information and ran the normal tests was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Sarah, the Nurse practitioner made certain that I understood all of the instructions and was so very friendly. Not being close to home, it is sometimes unnerving seeing new people. How is this place still open with the same people? I went here for lacerations to my face and my chest, and even though I was in pain, I still tried to keep a sense of humor and smile and joke with the doctor and the doctors assistant... both of whom were extremely cold, rude, and treated us as if we were a nuisance. I was sharing this experience with a friend of mine and he said. " Is that the banner urgent care on 64th and Greenway?" I was shocked and I replied " yes! How did you know!?" he said that the same exact thing happened to them when they took their child in there for a bruise on his foot.... Look at the reviews... The company itself seems to respond and monitor these reviews... How can you have such a large amount of people all complaining about the same thing, talking about how rude and disrespectful the staff is, yet you do nothing? Clearly, you have staff here that has a serious attitude problem. He described the same staff/doctor that we had... I was waiting outside this urgent care until it opened. I had called multiple times. Their website said the next availability was in an hour and a half. when they were supposed to open, I knocked on the door. At 8:01 an employee strolled out and I politely asked her if they take walk ins or if I need to go to another urgent care. The employee said because I knocked that they take walk ins BUT the are refusing me medical care and I need to leave. I had a very polite and pleasant / normal person attitude the whole time. i think the staff didn't want to deal with a customer at 8am. This is my first review because I never complain but I've never been this mistreated. Everyone I saw here was very polite and kind until I saw the PA. The absolute rudest PA I have ever seen. She treated me like a child. She did not care about helping me at all. I explained several symptoms lasting many days and I was told "everyone has a cough". She was extremely condescending. I explained I had dizziness and migraines and she said "you can go to the ER then". The entire interaction lasted about 2 minutes. First off, the PA didn't come in with my chart, so knew nothing of my background. I told her that I had a fever for two days. I was then disregarded and told that, "everyone in Arizona has allergies" (I don't), and was prescribed five, yes five medications. None of which I felt safe filling. This was the worst experience ever. The receptionist was nice. However my 18 year old had been coughing up green flem for a few days and went here for a z pack which has worked for him in the past with the same symptoms He explained that to the DR and she prescribed him a 90 day pill for allergies. He does not even have allergies and he told that to her. THIS IS COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE trying to take advantage of a young man. I will be making a complaint to the medical board. The lady at the front desk was beyond rude. I had a appointment for 6:45 and didn't get seen until 7:15. There was a older woman behind us who was bleeding from her knee and mentioned she was waiting for ever with no one speaking to us or checking on us in the waiting room (30mins plus) while the front desk lady sat there in silence. The front desk lady said in response to the older woman "you just got here, and your injury happened at 4" (implying she waited long inbetween) which had nothing to do with what was being said. Someome that unkind should not be working with sick/Injured people. Everything she said she said VERY rudely and she was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked what was taking so long and I was met with "well your already back there" after waiting 45 minutes plus in the room to see a doctor. read more

I showed up to this location just a few minutes before they opened - right at 8AM they opened the door and got me started on my paperwork. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very informative. I came in being pretty sure I had Strep so they ran the test and an additional one for Mono for good measure. The Dr informed me that if I'm misdiagnosed the Strep medication could result in further infection if it turns out to be Mono. I appreciated that he educated me on why they wanted to look into my case further. Turns out it was as we suspected - a good ol' case of Strep. They quickly sent my prescription to Walgreens across the parking lot and I was on my way. A perfectly satisfactory visit (or as satisfactory as it can be when you feel like your throat is filled with thorns). read more

Do NOT ever use Banners!!!! I have added to this review as the horrific nightmare continues. I would give this urgent care a Zero, however that is not an option. The woman, Maria, at the front desk is as pleasant as getting a 3rd degree burn. She has no organizational skills and is not honoring online appointments made. She is rude and lacks any compassion. She is taking the walk in patients and placing them ahead of patients who have set up and secured an online appointment. She has told myself and every person that it will be a LONG LONG time before you get seen. This makes no sense as it is just myself, my twins and a walk in person. The provider is moving as fast as a sloth. Banner management should really do their diligence when having employees with beyond poor customer service representing them. The Mission and Values posted on their wall definitely doesn't does not apply. Plus the provider keeps telling Maria to only allow patients and she is allowing visitors without masks in the waiting area. NOT cool at all! The X-ray tech is taking the medical history, not taking blood pressure or any vitals signs correctly. How can you take a blood pressure with 1/2 the cuff around the elbow?!? The X-ray tech has NO clue how to COVID swab! The swab needs more than 3 seconds! This will provide a False Negative!!! You can you tube how this should be completed/performed and Banner is NOT having competent trained people provide medical services. Everyone beware and demand your money and Co-pays back. Have your insurance company refuse to pay Banner and report this! If you get inappropriately swabbed by the X-ray tech who doesn't wash his hands, change his gloves in between patients is cross contaminating everyone! Doesn't change the paper on the table between patients and doesn't use the trash. He is reusing blood pressure cuffs without wiping them down. Talk about NOT following the CDC guidelines. The provider should not bring in a handful of prescriptions and discharge papers before ever seeing the patients or doing a physical exam. Dangerous provider dangerous medical practices. read more

I made an appointment for 1pm. Got a message saying they were backed up but mentioned the estimate time as 1pm so I figured it was just an automated message but the apt was still good. When we got there a rude nurse or something just told me they were backed up and that the wait time was at least an hour. I told them I just needed something to be looked through a microscope (tape test for pinworms). They didn't even ask what was the issue, just said they had other patients. We left. 20 min later I got another text saying apt time was now 1:19pm (so the wait wasn't really as long :( ). We missed the apt because they couldn't get their timings straight and were not interested in how long the apt could be. Next time we would go somewhere else read more

This place is awful. I came in around Thanksgiving with a sore throat, congestion, and a fever that had lasted over 48 hours. I don't remember the doctor's name but a male doctor came in and was very dismissive. He took a strep test and said to me it was negative so I should just take the regular over the counter medicine. He went to walk out of the room and I asked him to clarify. He said something along the lines of "You know, throat numbing spray and nasal spray." He didn't even bother to ask about other symptoms. I didn't have a fever when I went in because I had been taking ibuprofen regularly but he didn't bother to ask. A couple of days later I still wasn't feeling any better. I still had a fever and decided I needed to go back in to see the doctor. It was Thanksgiving Day so my options were limited and I came back. The doctor I saw was much more compassionate and said it sounded like the flu and prescribed amox-clav. Fast forward a couple days and I had only gotten worse. Still had a fever and could barely breathe from congestion. I ended up at the Mayo emergency room and was diagnosed with bronchitis and given a Z-pack. The next day I finally started to feel better. Now I'm getting billed for my second visit! I wouldn't have had to have a second visit, or third for that matter, if the doctor would have just done his job instead of rushing me out of the room. read more

I just walked in with a positive Covid test, trying to get medication for it, and I was greeted by the Asian assistant at the front and she was the literal rudest lady with the worst attitude I've ever encountered in a medical field. I get it you work with a lot of people and may be tired but as some on who has covid and isn't feeling good the last thing I could use is a bad attitude. She is the only heavy asian lady working there and I really really hope she gets reprimanded one day for acting this way. No room for that in the medical field what so ever. read more

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND LEAST TRAINED FACILITY IVE EVER BEEN TO. I visited Banner Urgent Care after i had been sick for about 5 days with relatively no improvement. I barely had any voice because of how sore my throat was, i also was coughing up piles of green mucus, and had been experiencing a fever, muscle aches and fatigue the past couple days. After checking in the nurse took me back to take my vitals and asked about my symptoms. Shortly after that, the doctor comes into the room preaching that "everyone in the valley is feeling these symptoms right now, it's just allergies." Now, let me tell you that literally ANY average person, a person who has no medical training whatsoever, could take one look at me and tell this is not allergies. To be honest, i was genuinely stunned she even suggested this as a cause for my symptoms. i left with a prescription for allergy meds, but after further debate i decided to go back and persist for more testing / a proper diagnosis. After speaking with me the doctor said "We don't just hand out tests, if you wanted a Covid test you need to pipe up and ask for one". You are my doctor, it's YOUR responsibility to explore the options for my illness, it's not MY responsibility to ask for it. Honestly should be closed for malpractice :) everyone in the lobby left after seeing my interaction with the doctor because they could all tell i did not have allergies and that the doctor at this facility is beyond incompetent. I went in to get stitches out to one of their locations in Scottsdale, AZ in July 2022. I was told after they reviewed my insurance that I would only be responsible for the co-pay, which was $60 through my insurance plan at the time. I always ask before I get any services what the services will cost through my insurance on purpose. The staff at the actual location and doctor were fine, but here's the problem. A few weeks later I received a bill for $210.00. I reached out to my insurance, and apparently they filed the claim with an improper tax ID number. So my insurance's hands were tied until they refiled with the proper tax ID number. I reached out promptly to Banner's billing department to resolve this. They essentially told me they were going to look into it and that I needed to call back in THREE MONTHS. How could this possibly take three months? Okay, whatever, I'll do that. So I call back after three months and I'm told, "Oh, that person didn't escalate the issue, now I need to escalate it. Call back in 10 business days." Of course, I'm aware that they're giving me the run around at this point, but I refuse to give in and pay this bill that I should not have to pay. I'm fairly certain they just stall and stall until a patient just gives in and pays it so it doesn't go into collections. Well of course I get a call that says it's going to collections if I don't pay it. So I call them AGAIN. I get some other story about how they're going to accelerate the issue. CALL BACK IN FIVE BUSINESS DAYS. I just called back AGAIN and basically had to pull a Karen for this guy to take me seriously, and he says he is filing with the proper tax ID, but I won't believe it until I see it. I was seen by Rula Kilano PA last night. My symptoms were pretty severe and it was approximately 1 hour before closing at the clinic. Both Rula and the nurse had impeccable bed side manner and I walked out feeling heard and treated. The past experiences I've had with urgent cares were the exact opposite from what I experienced last night. Usually, they just want to rush you out and in some cases people aren't properly treated or they seem inconvenienced for you walking through the doors. Not at Banner Health Scottsdale. I rarely rate anything 5 stars; Hardly any service is flawless, but last night I experienced the best care and I highly recommend this clinic and to be seen by Rula. read more

Went in for a horrible migraine with nausea. The front desk sent me straight back to a darker and quieter room to let me rest before the nurse saw me for triage. When I walked in the building I was told there were four people ahead of me, but I didn't care because of the pain. I was going to be patient. I didn't have to wait at all. Once I was in the dark room, the triage nurse came straight in. Shortly after, the female doctor came in. She was very thorough and considerate of my pain. I was shaking and very nauseous. She sent the nurse straight back in with medicine and she made she I felt better before I left. She was willing to write a prescription for home care medicine, but I did not need it. SHAME ON YOU! These people didn't test me for ANYTHING when I got sick in January. I'm 99% sure that I had Coronavirus. I was sick for 14 days total with severe upper respiratory symptoms. I had been in contact with MANY people traveling internationally who were also sick. How many more people came in that you did not test?! We have had good experiences here. Had to bring my daughter in on Good Friday because her newly pierced ear went awry--she woke up in the morning to discover the stud has gone in to the hole snd then the skin around it swelled shut and engulfed the stud in her ear lobe. She was in pain and panicking! We happened to arrive when only one other person was there so we were checked in quickly. The doctor on staff that morning was incredibly kind and patient with my daughter who was emotionally distraught. The nurse who assisted was also wonderful. While it was a painful process for my daughter, they did everything they could to resolve the problem and keep her calm. I have been to my share of urgent cares and this was by far the best treatment we've experienced. read more
