There was a family being assisted when we got there, but the lone worker, Robin, still took a moment to acknowledge us. She also gave us an expected wait time so we could return. They had a nice selection of gold screw back earrings for kids, as well as a lot of other kinds of jewelry. We picked out 2 pairs we liked that we got for a deal. Robin was helpful & personable. For aftercare, they recommended the Studex Advanced 2 in 1 Piercing Aftercare and Cleanser. We were given very simple instructions, just spray 2x a day to the front and back of each piercing and dab with a paper towel! No twisting, turning or use of cotton squabs, otherwise it will delay healing. Just leave the earring alone for 6 weeks before replacing with new ones! I've taken both of my baby girls here to get their ears pierced and I highly recommend them! They have the shorter stud earring for babies so there is no irritation while wearing them. Piercing is free with the purchase of the earrings. For the short studs, the prices ranged from $55-70 for the earrings. They also have an aftercare treatment to clean the earrings for $2-13 depending on the kind you choose. Both my girls were pierced at around 6 months old and I've found that they don't tug on their ears at that age so the piercing can heal quicker and without problems. The gals who helped me have always been super sweet and knowledgeable about placement and piercings. I felt very comfortable with them putting holes into my baby girls' ears. The process was quick and painless (well for me at least lol) and the end results are super cute! read more

With my niece getting her first ear piercings I was nervous she was going to a kiosk in the mall. However this place is on point. Jacob took his time to not only address the right positioning but also showed love and care to my niece so she was comfortable and informed. I met her a month prior while walking through the mall. She explained the whole process to my husband and I which made us feel more comfortable because we were really hesitant. Ashley pierced her ears one after the other which I think worked out better than having two people do it at the same time... I think that would have been too much for my baby. I recall VERY CLEARLY getting my ears pierced many many moons ago and the piercing studs were damn near impossible to get out, when it was time. Emily was incredibly sweet and patient. Good rapport with young ones and just great customer service all around. Also a great eye for measurements, her piercing marks were on point the first time around but she still wanted to re-align. You have to appreciate a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this! She was efficient with the necessary paperwork and was great about keeping everything clean and sterile. Again, something you definitely want when dealing with piercing. Today I brought my 4 year old to check out the earrings and see if she was brave enough to go through with piercing her ears. It was quite busy at the pagoda, but we were greeted shortly after we walked up. The woman who was working (Dianna?) got us a cardboard copy of the earrings available, as there were some people already checking out the piercing display. We waited around and Jacob came to wait on us as soon as they were free. Jacob helped us pick out piercing earrings and a "get one half off" pair as well. When it was our turn to get pierced, Jacob was so gentle and reassuring that my little one, who tends to be more timid, was so comfortable and feeling great! They were able to pierce both ears at the same time (thank goodness!) and everything was so clean. Both employees wore gloves and the placement on the piercings is perfect. I decided to get my ears repierced after many years. The ladies here did an excellent job. My first concern was finding some place with decent quality jewelry. I originally let my ears close up because I couldn't find posts that weren't junk. I'm very pleased with the posts I got here - well worth the money. I did have to wait for a bit to be helped, but it was understandable. One of the two employees was on a short break when I got there, and the woman and her two daughters who were ahead of me could not make up their minds to save their lives. I put 3 because the first time I went there it was amazing. The lady was very sweet and she did it perfect. That was last year but this year couple months ago I went again to get my second hole piercing. This time I had another girl and it's the larger girl with glasses. She was very rude. I was taking my time to pick out an earring and she was like "can you hurry up I can have it open for long". She looked like she hated her job. She didn't smile and kept rushing me. When she started marking my ears where to pierce, she told me my ears are lop sided and aren't even and laughed. It was really awkward and I don't know why she had to tell me that. The Piercing Pagoda in the Roseville Galleria Mall is definitely the best place to get your ears pierced! Well, at least if you're lucky enough to have Brent Williams working at the time - just like he said, he has the most experience piercing ears in that mall and probably any mall! I'm a pretty neurotic mother of an almost 6 year old who had been begging to get her ears pierced for quite some time. She suddenly decided she wanted it done immediately and therefore, I did some quick frantic research, looking for the best place to do this. Since Tattoo/Piercing places won't do children under 14, we decided to head to the Roseville Galleria - there we would at least have a choice between Claire's/Icing or Piercing Pagoda. Piercing Pagoda is a kiosk, which initially concerned me, but they have been there for many years. I asked the sales clerk at the nearby "Justice For Girls" clothing shop for their recommendation and they suggested Piercing Pagoda - in fact, she herself had her ears pierced by them 8 years ago and said she refers moms and daughters there all the time with out ever having anybody come back with negative feedback. Brent was great with answering all of my crazy questions and listening to my concerns. And then he was also great dealing with my excited little girl and anxious parents. He wanted to make sure I was 100% pleased and didn't mind that I asked him to redo the dots several times, just a smidgen here and there. The earring selection was great and I love the 1 year 3 month warranty (if an earring comes out I can go back and they will re-pierce and replace the earring for free). I think I was more nervous than my eight-year-old daughters to pierce her ears. Did some online research that recommended to ask your pediatrician to do it or for a recommendation and to prescribe a topical numbing cream to ease the pain. Dr said lots of her patient's have gone to piercing pagodas and been very happy. We weren't disappointed. "Danielle" was the BEST. she made my daughter (and I) feel very comfortable. She spent as much time as I wanted to place the dots for the piercing. They were very busy, but she never made us feel rushed. I highly recommend going when two people are working, we just so happen to be there when another girl came on her shift. My daughter was able to get both ears pierced with one punch. She's a week in and no sign of infection. Overall very happy with the experience. Be prepared to spend at least $50 for the piercing and earrings. read more

Let me start off by saying that I would give 0 stars if I could. The quality of the jewelry there is awful and The management there is even worse. I purchased 2 pairs of Gold hoop earrings, both of which had a very loose clasp that I didn't notice until I went to put them on. One of the clasps was so loose the wind was able to knock it right out of my ear causing it to be lost. I had purchased the insurance/warranty on both pairs but they refuse to exchange or return the hoops that I lost one of them due to their poor quality jewelry. I called to make sure that it was covered under the insurance and they said "no problem as long as you at least have 1 of them to turn in." So I have been there 3 times, each time they told me come back when there's a manager there, but each time I've gone there has been no manager on site. Today is my 4th time coming Back to the location and the manager told me there was nothing they could do because I only have 1 of the earrings. But the earring was lost due to their poor poor quality jewelry. So, to prevent further issues, I tried to return or exchange the second pair I had bought, but they refuse to do that as well. So what was the point in buying the insurance/warranty? How many times were they going to make me leave and come back before they decided to tell me there's absolutely no solution? Where are the managers? And why is there nothing that can be done when it was their negligence in craftsmanship that resulted in the lost jewelry? Let me add that the earrings were not cheap at almost $300 a pair. read more

My eight year old daughter's ears got infected and, even though we did not get them done at Pagoda originally, the woman was WONDERFUL. My daughter was VERY nervous, scared, and in pain. The woman at Piercing Pagoda explained everything she was going to do and expertly took the festering earring out and put the new ones in. My daughter had a huge sigh of relief afterwords.
