Sadly, the landowners decided it was too much of a liability, so that's no longer an option. I truly wish this spot was sticking around longer because the sandwiches here are absolutely delicious. Everything is strictly vegan, but honestly, it's enjoyable for everyone -- whether you're vegan or not. The flavors and quality really stand out. The shop itself is small and quiet, with a cozy atmosphere. They also offer some great health food goodies and fresh produce, making it a nice one-stop for a quick meal and some wholesome snacks. Parking is available, which is always a plus. If you're interested, don't wait too long -- they're closing at the end of June. Please give this place a try before it's gone!

Naomi was my chef today fun fact, she also works part time at Ka'ala Kitchen. I got the rainbow sandwich on sourdough with dynamite aioli (soo good), plus a potato salad and hibiscus nettle tea, no sugar. Fresh, tasty, and just what I needed--love that their menu got a refresh too.

Very sad that they are closing…read more.. Saw a feed on FB that they plan to close at the end of this month. How sad! :( This has been a go to place for a cup of coffee and something sweet if I was in Haleiwa in the mornings. Also buy locally grown and fresh ground coffee...a lot of times for gifts. Sigh... gotta try to find a new place, but nothing can replace the Coffee Gallery... Got 6 more days for those who wanna make that last stop...

We shared the pecan pie, pineapple muffin, and pumpkin muffin. I really liked the pecan pie crust. Both the muffins were moist, and I enjoyed the chunks of fruit in the pineapple one. I wanted to get savory food, but they were sold out by the time we got there. I also got a golden turmeric latte. I don't really know what I was expecting from a golden turmeric latte, but it just tasted earthy. Nothing amazing about it, but I'm sure it had great health benefits. Service was super friendly even though it was rather busy when we went. There was lots of seating in this cute covered area separated from the shop. I liked how quiet it was compared to the inside of the shop where they are calling out orders. I'm so sad that this place is closing after serving Haleiwa for so many years!

Cute country feel eatery in waialua…read more Since it's semi outdoors it can get humid and prone to flies. I ordered the coconut shrimp and the locomoco. The coconut shrimp was pretty good. Size was decent and the portion was adequate. 6 pieces of golden flaky shrimp. I loved the coconut shreds on the rice. I wasn't a huge fan of Mac salad and the lettuce on the bottom but I understand why the plating was how it was so it's not a negative thing. The locomoco was dry and overcooked. I wasn't satisfied with this one and it unfortunately did affect my ratings. The party smelt amazing but as I bit into it, it was extremely crunching and a little bland in flavor. I think the gravy was great and wish I had more of the gravy to help the patty. The food came out fairly quickly and the staff was kind in bringing out the food. I'm glad I got to try this place out since I've past it several times and always seem too early or too late to try.

All of the food was sooooo delicious--my favorite was the lū'au which was made with octopus! It all tasted very fresh and much better than the stuff I found in Waikiki. For the big platter pictured in my photo, it was approximately $25. Not the cheapest lunch but definitely worth it! They offered seating both indoors and outdoors. My only wish was that they would have had fans outside or something, to disperse the flies more easily--those were quite pesky. Great spot if you're up in North Shore and/or getting some rock climbing or hiking in out near Mokuleia!

We were given the option of sitting inside or outside. I loved the wood furniture and plants that were used throughout the restaurant. For three of us, we shared the prime rib moco and malasada pancakes. The malasada pancakes are like no other, and it's a must try at this restaurant. It has the perfect malasada texture without feeling super heavy. The prime rib loco moco was a generous portion and paired well with the sweet malasada pancakes. Service here was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend Stonefish if you're looking for a good breakfast spot with something for everyone.

We're seated at the corner and forgotten. Now, the food-DISAPPOINTING! We thought it would be authentic fish since the name stands for it! We ordered Chicken and Fish sandwiches. The plating was nice and looks appetizing but the chicken were chicken tenders or chicken stick and the fish was those ready made breaded fish from Costco (at least it looked like it). What made the good taste good was the sauce. So, I recommend if you're really hungry and you don't mind eating microwave dinner and the family needs to unload and relax coz the place is vibing and has a long bar for adults. I'm just disappointed with the food.

Finally, a café on Oʻahu that takes its pastries and café food seriously! I really love what you're…read moredoing here, and the pastries are genuinely some of the best I've had. My favorites I always order are the vanilla cardamom bun, Don't Worry Brie Happy, banh mi, and Cardi B drink. I did want to share a couple of suggestions for the owner/manager because I'd love to see this place continue to improve. Lastly, please can you add some umbrellas above your wooden tables outside. It's way too hot, and the covered area is always full/loud. Would really love some umbrellas over the wooden tables. Coffee consistency: I've ordered the Cardi B around 20 times over the past four months. Less than half the time it's great, but more than half it has been disappointingly cold or poorly made. I understand that different baristas have different techniques, but the inconsistency is always noticeable. In my experience, about 15 out of 20 times the coffee drink has been cold because the milk is not being steamed and instead cold milk is being poured directly into the coffee. The amount of cardamom and sweetness/honey always varies too. Since the drink itself has such a great recipe, I'd really love to see more consistency in preparation--this could be improved through retraining baristas, reinforcing a gold standardized recipe, proper milk steaming technique, temperature guidelines, or additional barista training. Also, I've never had the same barista or cashier in all the times I visited. As a local regular, I do wish I could have a regular solid barista. Consider the best practice of scheduling people with consistent schedules weekly so people can develop loyalty and relationship with your cafe. Bagelweanies: These are SO delicious, but they are also way too salty. The large sea salt crystals on top look beautiful, but there is so much salt that it overwhelms the flavor and health nutrition. I always have to peel or scrap off the top bread to remove all the salt. The weenie itself is already salty enough, in my opinion. I'd strongly suggest reducing or even removing all the sea salt on top. It would make them more enjoyable and a more healthy. They will still taste great, look great, and you reduce the expense of sea salt! I'm sharing this because I genuinely love the food and want to see the café succeed. The pastries and food are clearly made with care, and with a little more consistency in the coffee and less salt on the bagelweanies, I think you'd have an even stronger experience.
