On Thursday, August 20, 2026, I called Banzai Plumbing, Inc and spoke with Brenden, the owner. I explained that we had a running water sound issue in the house pipe. He came by on his way home and made an assessment that the water from the main pipes to the house was leaking. Yikes...my water bill will be huge! He would replaced the old galvanized pipes with copper pipes that will require some digging underground from the main and linked with the house pipe. It would take a day and can begin tomorrow, August 21st...Wow! He and assistant Dayton, (I hope I spelled his name correctly) arrived at 7a and were finished after 2:30p. After cleaning up their tools and work areas, included putting my things back, which is a rarity for any business to do, you wouldn't even know they were here! Yay...no more running water issue! This is the second time we have called Banzai Plumbing and wow, 100/10 job well done seriously. Just the day prior we noticed our shower faucet leaking which gradually got worse and the water was no longer diverting to the shower head. I found Brenden on the Nextdoor app and saw several good reviews there plus the wonderful reviews here on Yelp. I messaged Brenden via the Yelp app and he gave me his number. We then exchanged text messages about the "thumping" of my water. I was also able to send him some video of the problem I was encountering. Brenden suspected that it was my pressure regulator (or something) and gave me an estimate. He assured me that he'd check it out in person before just changing it though. Brenden confirmed our appointment that morning and showed up on time. He looked around to confirm the problem. Once confirmed (plus looked at some other work to be done), he headed off to Home Depot to get the parts he needed. He text me on his way back to keep me up to speed then went right to work. On the scheduled day, he called and asked if it was okay if he came earlier, which was great. He snaked our main line and successfully cleared the clog. He cleaned up the area upon completion. His price was very very reasonable. I also spoke to him regarding swapping out my 14 year old water heater with a hybrid (heat pump) heater. He quoted me a price a couple of hundred dollars lower than another plumber. He instructed me to purchase the heater and he would pick it up, install the new one, and remove the old. I had a leaky kitchen faucet that I was planning to repair on my own, figured I'd just have to replace the cartridge. I went to turn off the (20-year old) water shutoff valve but that sprung a leak. Brenden came by on short notice & changed both valves to higher quality brass quarter-turn angle stop valves. I was experiencing problems with my gas water heater so I gave Banzai Plumbing a call based on his Yelp reviews. He scheduled an appointment for 8 am the next day and showed up right on time. Turns out the water heater needed to be replaced, so I decided to switch to an electric water heater. He returned the next morning with the new heater and had it installed in a couple of hours. The electrician couldn't make it out that day but Brenden offered to do a temporary hook-up so we could have hot water that night, but I said that's ok we'll wait 'til the next day.
