I was very disappointed with Bar Eden's happy hour. Instead of feeling like a bargain, it felt as though you had to order two drinks to get the amount you would normally expect from one regular cocktail. The cocktails themselves were average at best and nowhere near the quality I expected from a cocktail bar. The same applied to the $5 happy hour burger - it was extremely small, closer to a kids' burger than a regular burger. To make matters worse, the happy hour isn't available on weekends, when many visitors are actually in the area. The staff remained polite throughout, but I felt my concerns were dismissed with the kind of courteous, scripted responses that leave you feeling brushed off rather than genuinely heard. Overall, I left feeling that the "happy hour" offers much less value than the advertising suggests. I wouldn't recommend it.

Bonus was that there were happy hour specials 8pm, which is outside of their normal happy hour window! Since LadyLove is nestled in the Bishop Arts District, parking was expectedly abysmal. There was a small parking lot with valet available, although I'm not sure if it was complimentary or paid. We opted for free curbside parking at the periphery of the district, about a 5 minute walk away toward the residential area. We walked in, seated ourselves, browsed the menu, and ordered at the bar. We ordered 2 x $7 margaritas and 1 x $7 Ladylove feral fries - included in the happy hour specials! Loved the ambiance - the low lighting, the music. Loved the happy hour special. I would love to be back at some point to enjoy other listening sessions while sipping affordable drinks.
