It was a light refreshing drink that provided a nice start to the visit. I got a second drink which was a mango beer that was on the menu. It was soo delicious. The ambiance of Bodega is really lovely. Although the sun was hot, there were plenty of tables with umbrellas to block out the rays. The staff were very nice and helpful as well. Overall, we had a really good time at Bodega. My mom and I even returned a couple of weeks later. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a laid back visit!

The ambiance is upscale-casual, the service is excellent (thanks Kali for getting my joke and making me laugh on our last visit), and the food is wonderfully delicious. They have main floor seating, a balcony, and a back patio, so request your spot when making a reservation. DRINKS: They have a full bar and the cocktails we've tried were very well made. The wine list is primarily Lumen wines, but there are some other local and old-world wines available, and some alcohol-free cocktails and beer too. On our first visit, we tried a Lumen wine tasting flight consisting of a '21 Chardonnay, a '21 Pinot Noir, and a '21 Grenache, and a couple extra pours, like the Escence orange wine and the "Hey Ginger" Pet Nat (check out my separate review for Lumen Wines). FOOD: We've eaten something on all three visits and everything we've tried has been very good. The menu is seasonal, so it's ever changing. The appetizers/entrées we've tried are the Wedge Salad, Kabocha Salad, Grilled Carrots, Avocado Crudo, Channel Island Squid, Steak Tartare, Pico Burger, and Rabbit Carnitas Tostadas. The food is well-seasoned and prepared as ordered. The kitchen seems to work well with the wait staff to coordinate when courses are delivered, so you're not getting everything at once. Not only beer, but they also have wine tasting and serves food. The whole vibe is actually pretty cute. Outdoor seating with umbrella as well as indoor. Majority of people were outside enjoying the weather. Inside, one section is like a cafe with tasting as well. We stopped by for a cold beer which they had a good selections and ciders. If we hadn't already had lunch earlier, the food here looked quite nice. Someone ordered a charcuterie board and it was quite impressive. Service was nice and the staff were all very friendly. I'm sure if it wasn't a holiday, this place does will probably be pretty busy when the town is full of people. Now that we've been through, it's definitely worth coming back.

We have heard nothing but good things and they were all correct. We live within easy walking distance so we took a nice little walk. Three times I was told yes, the manager would take care of it the next day. Don't worry, it's fine. So I trusted them. The next morning: denied. No refund. No explanation. No accountability. Because I trusted their word, I lost the window to just bite the bullet and make the hour drive to and from family. I had to book a second hotel out of pocket, stretching my budget in a way that was genuinely costly. All because a staff member couldn't simply say "I don't know" instead of giving me false assurances to get off the phone. This isn't a miscommunication. It's a lack of integrity. Do not rely on anything you're told verbally here and think twice before booking at all.
