    cajun fries and fried raviolis
    Kathy V.

Just found this hidden gem while bar crawling mississippi. They have amazing food, great drinks, and a HUGE outdoor seating area. I look forward to coming here more during summer. Everyone there was friendly, and the bartenders are super kind with great drinks recommendations. We ordered two orders of the cajun fries and ravioli's to share among the 6 of us, but oh did i underestimate the portion sizes! Both tasted AMAZING. I will be back soon!

The bar connected to Mississippi Studios, which is where you will wait before a show. It can get pretty packed, but they have a huge outside area. We were told it was an hour wait for food, but it came in 30 or so minutes. I was pleasantly surprised with the burger combo #3. Not only was it reasonably priced at $16 for a burger, fries, and draft beer - but it was delicious. I highly recommend "cajunized" fries for 50 cents more. The BTA, which should probably be BAT is bacon, arugula, and tomato - instead of lettuce on a traditional BLT. It's also on a bun. My partner says it was delicious. How cute are those cornichon pickles?! For bar food before a show, I was happy!

Tiny little salad, added chicken, $12

The bar has a great vibe to it although the bartender seemed impatient and it was not busy... but the beet salad was just so sad and tiny I was so hungry afterwards... yes I got a salad at a bar but wow I was shocked ;(

Service was a walk-up order situation at the bar and the bartender assisted us getting the most bang for our buck as well as beer recs; easy. Sat outside in their wonderful space and the food was ran out quickly. The burger had a unique and simple presentation with a pickle on the toothpick which was a nice visual touch. Dug in and the fries seemed to be the star of the show and not the burger...truly missed the mark on flavor and wasn't much of an experience.

Atmosphere: Pretty good atmosphere. Lot of patio space and outdoor seating, including back/side deck with fire pits. Food: Had heard great things about the burger and it was decent, but not that big and nothing special either. Fries were not my cup of tea, but if you like shoestring then they will be for you Price: Price was reasonable. $13 for a Burger, Fries, Soft Drink combo. Service: Depends who you get but overall I've been pretty underwhelmed by the service. Took forever for the burger to come and another time they refused to put the Oregon game on the TV (even though they had a movie with no sound on) Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood. One of the tougher neighborhoods in Portland to park, but it is doable.

The female bartender with the blonde hair is very rude she doesn't give eye contact when you ask a question she answers it without even looking at you. By the time I got to order my drink a customer before me was already in verbal combat with her. The security is awesome they're super nice. Other than the bad service from the blonde hair chick, it was okay. While she is working there definitely not a place that I will recommend.

Location was nicer compare to bars next to it but drinks were very basic and food quality was basic bar food! Smoking is free outside which can be good and bad. Overall you should lower your expectations in Portland! The decoration and ambiance was fun though. I would suggest ordering beers and straight shuts instead of any cocktails.

Order: Bar Burger and fry's Pros: Frys were good. Cons: the burger wasnt seasoned and it def. Irked my nerves. Also there was Nothen special about the burger. The guy taken the order seemed uninterested in taking orders. Def. Felt rushed when trying to find the right thing to eat.

I dub thee the winner of the 2022 Portland Mercury Burger Week. The garlic chile crisp on top of the buttery pillow-like middle and crisp edge bun make it. So damn good! The special cucumber, vodka, and ginger cocktail provided an excellent pairing.

Nice outdoor seating on the patio perfect for people watching. I had the special, the New Ouster Cult Burger . One of the best 'shroom burgers I've ever had. They should have it one the regular menu, I'd get it every time. Soft, light bun. Arulula just enough greenery for the burger. The assortment of diced fresh mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, lion's mane and shiitake, were sautéed in a flavorful sauce. A slice of white cheese finished it with a nice burger patty. Perfect flavors rounded out by a light mayo sauce. It's a winner! Excellent, crisp onion rings too! They have a music club next door, seems like a good place to spend an evening. At lunch it's great with the day-life on Mississippi Avenue

We were walking around and the awesome patio area drew us in. It was drizzling but almost every spot was covered and they had outdoor heaters and a fire! Nice selection of some fun beers! I had an Ecliptic Tangerine Sour beer which was yummy! There were a lot items marked as unavailable on the menu, so we decided to just grab some apps rather than have our dinner here. Cajun fries and the T-ravs were awesome! They required proof of vaccination to enter.

Simple, but excellent smash burger. Great Barbie fries. Don't sleep on the beet salad either. Reasonable prices and amazing patio.

Want to eat on a patio? Go to one of these tables we've wedged behind a dive bar or go into the lobby of this residential building/music venue, find the elevator and hope you counted the floors to that roof deck just right. I love Sit Tite because it's just fucking easy. It's open all week, it keeps the pinball up front and just takes quarters and bills, it gives me chicken parm when I want it, it has a good coffee cocktail when I have the money for it and $3 Rainier when I don't, and it basically has a giant dining room out back. Sit-Tite's menu could've warranted a full dining room, wait staff... the whole nine. But I'm glad there's one fucking place in this town where I can just put an order in, play some pinball, have above-bar-quality food waiting for me when I get back, and just enjoy a night outside. Yes, there are nights when the chicken parm's too much of a mess and I swing over to the hot Italian or fried mozzarella, but Sit Tite never tries to make my life worse by doing things "better."

I was certain he hadn't, and there was no sign saying the game was reserved. To be peaceful, I just said, "How about I play down to $1.50 then, and you can have it." "Oh no, you play what you put in and give me a percentage of your winnings." I had no intention of doing so, so I played my money down and left the bar, with him bitching that I had quit playing. He was a pretty big menacing guy there with some people, and I didn't want to get into some fight, which is why I just left. but I would suggest the bar put out laminated signs, like other bars do, that indicate if a game is reserved for 5 or 10 minutes. Also, the staff should do a check on the gaming area every 10 to 20 minutes, some people just sit there without putting money in games, and more than once I've been hit up for money -- it's a bit unnerving when someone is looking over your shoulder or nagging at you as you're playing. I really like Georges and want them to succeed, but if they need to really watch for the cheapskates who come in and try to scam other customers, most of whom are working class folks just trying to relax.
