Ok Sunday is my wing day! Last week was a hit. Bar code has good wings (& burgers) . I like the spicy Ranch rub. ( i LOVE DRY RUB WINGS) so with that said. I came back. One week later. It was the gold cup semi finals (USA vs Costa Rica) and very busy again. It's was absolutely awesome Denise (was amazing) & Jazmin / Daniel/ Alex & Gordon. We're the ones working. I had to mention them all because, the staff kills it in here. I didn't know anything (Sport's) was going on. When I walked in it was packed. Drinks and food all over the place, screaming and horns blowing at the game.( love a soccer crowd) It was a good game tied 2 to 2 down to the last overtime kick. USA WON! It is obviously a great place to Eat and watch Sports. I did notice it's ok to bring your kids they have a area to sit with family and eat & watch some sports. Bar Code Burgers is a bar that offers many local craft beers and liquors and of course burgers. The menu is mostly burgers, lots of appetizers, some chicken sandwiches, a few other things, and a child's menu. Inside it looks like most sports bars with lots of TVs and a variety of seating inside and possibly patio seating for when the weather is right. We asked about the meat blend of the burgers and our server said that she didn't know because she works at another burger restaurant and gets the two mixed up. I also asked if the burgers were ground in house and she shook her head no. We started out by sharing the macaroni and cheese bites. They were fried nicely and had nice cheesy filling. Not sure what it was but they also left a weird after taste that I didn't like but maybe other people might not be bothered by. Since I didn't know what was in the burgers I ordered a Chicken Sandwich called Fowl Play. It was a big sloppy sandwich. I really wish they used knives and forks here because it was hard to eat as it was. It was reasonably GOOD but did run on the sweet side. The fries that came with it were fresh made and good. My husband tried the Green Chili Burger and asked for it to be cooked Medium-Rare. It came out well done. It was very good for a well done burger with good flavors and all but still it was well done. It also wasn't very busy but our server didn't feel the need to check on us so she didn't stop by until we finished. We told her the burger was well done instead of medium-rare. She said that she was sorry and took %15. off the burger on our check. Maybe we hit them on an off day. Server would not or couldn't answer questions about the food. Service was awesome!! The restaurant was clean and smelled good. The noise level was just right. I sat at the bar top so the bartender took care of me. The bartender was polite and efficient. She made small talk, but not too much and gave me the opportunity to sit and relax without being bothered (loved that). I placed my order and my food was delivered hot and fast. My wings were cooked perfectly, and had the right amount of sauce. My fries were hot and crispy and had enough seasoning on them. My food was perfect, for me!! I really enjoyed my food and drink. Went Sunday night for a late dinner. Really like having a chill sports bar that's local to me but isn't smokey or giving dive bar vibes. Burger was pretty decent. Had good flavor and was rather large and filling. Lemon pepper wings were a dry rub and really enjoyed them. Decided to try the OG banging flavor and even though i don't care for a sweet and tangy combo they were pretty yummy. Server was super chill and attentive. Sunday 1/12/2025 Came across this spot from Keith Lee and was instantly captivated by the idea of the blueberry BBQ burger so that's exactly what I got. I made an order for picking off their website and got the blueberry big bbq burger $19.45 ($22.05 total after tax). - The high expectations I got from the idea of the burger did not come to fruition, as the "blueberry bbq" in the burger wasn't very present at all. The burger itself is good, but the blueberry BBQ was a no-show, and that takes away from the experience. - The fries were decent. This was our first time visiting Bar Code Burgers! We came in on July 21st around 8pm for dinner and it was a great place to eat. There were plenty of times we have driven by the place advertising they are the best burgers in Las Vegas. I ordered the Nickel's Smash Burger and it was really good and tasty. Daniel was our host and he made great suggestions. Order the wings and although the flavor was there they overcooked them. They were really CRISPY to the point it was hard to pull the skin off. Were in the area for the underground house tour and were in need of a good burger. We found not one but two ar Barcode! I had a bacon cheeseburger with 2 patties and buffalo fries. My wife had the barcode burger. The buffalo fries are best eaten with a fork and come with bits of breaded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce over their skinny fries with cheese. Enjoyed the sauce flavor! The burger was low on frills but high on fills...added a patty for $4 and left feeling full. The barcode burger comes with bleu cheese and my wife ate the entire thing, a clear sign it tasted delicious. Four stars only for some small service issues. Despite only 2 tables, we had to ask for drink refills and only were able to get our server's attention for 1 refill. I ordered my burger with no tomatoes, it came with 2. Always pass by this place and happened to stop by and give it a try. Burgers were amazing, prepared right and juicy. Nice soft brioche bun, patties were cooked right, asked for it medium and the chef succeeded. Upgraded to the onion rings and tater tots which you could never go wrong. There was nothing special about the sides but they were both good, wish I would of tried the shoe string fries. Ordered wings which were also crispy and flavorful, didn't even need any ranch for the garlic parmesan. Asked for the other half buffalo and on the side as sometimes buffalo is a little spicy for the wife so wanted to play it safe. Buffalo was actually creamy and flavorful, not spicy at all and will have them tossed next time. Asked for lemon pepper dry rub as well for extra flavor. Service was a lil slow but I believe they were going through a shift change but servers were both very nice. Food was out within 10 minutes as well. The burger I had was really solid. It tasted fresh like it was cooked to order which I Ioved. I ordered The REBurger which comes with onion rings, bacon, cheese and a bacon aioli. The burger itself was juicy and paired well with the other ingredients. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was that I could not actually taste the bacon aioli spread. Decided to start our meal off with a new flavor of wings today, so we went with the hot honey jalapeno bone in wings. I'm usually always a buffalo wings type of guy, but these were a great change up. For mains, I went with the shroomin burger with onion rings and my wife order the smashburger with tots. My burger was simple and delicious. My wife's burger however was way overloaded with mustard. Hands off the best burger I had in Vegas!! Fast and friendly service. Very clean. Dinner with friends and ordered multiple items. Ordered off the happy hour menu. Fried pickles, Gouda cheese bites and flaming elote fries. Everything was very good. Fried picked cooked perfectly, a lil salty but when dipping in the sriracha ranch it made them delicious. Gouda cheese bits were gooey and yummy with the crispy outside. The flaming elote fries were very flavorful and not too spicy. Really liked the sautéed corn and the lime creama really made this. Would have like the fries not so over cooked were a little hard. FYI-happy hour menu with happy hour sizes. They were half off but a very small portion. Cali fresh burger was delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and nice and juicy with plenty of flavor, and not drip down ur arm juicy. The chipotle mayo added that little kick. Meal came with seasoned fries (which were a little on the salty side). Friends had BOM (burger of the month) which was a A1 burger. A1 sauce and mushrooms(I believe. Was enjoying my burger too much). Cheddar cheese. They liked it very much but thought it needed a little more sauce. They ordered sweet potato fries. They came out with cinnamon and spicy honey on it. So good it tasted like dessert. Bar Code Burgers has been on many lists as the best burger in Vegas. They even advertise it on their website and the very large sign on their building. Since I do really love a good burger my curiosity got me to drive the 20 miles and 30 minutes each way to try these burgers. I generally don't order a hamburger on my 1st visit to any restaurant because I know most places can't actually cook a good burger but I didn't follow that rule for the best burgers in town. I settled on the Green Chili burger ordered with no mayonnaise as there is no need for mayo on a good burger especially with poblanos and avocado. I of course ordered it Medium Rare and even said to the server undercooked is better than overcooked. The burger arrived and it was extremely well done. Their website offers a 2 bite guarantee that yo will love your burger or they will remove it from your table. The catch here is that you never see the server again once she drops off the burger and disappears. I tried to wait but eventually tried to eat the burger. It was anything but the best burger in Vegas. The only reason it could be eaten was because of the peppers and avocado to offer some break from the hockey puck hamburger. The sad part is that it probably could have been one of the best burgers in town if it was cooked properly. The meat was very flavorful and the toppings were good. When the server finally reappeared 16 minutes later and the burger was mostly eaten, I did tell her it was extremely well done and showed it to her. Her reply was that's odd as the cooks aren't ever supposed to cook a well done burger. When the bill came the server did apply a 15% discount to just that one burger. I accepted it but the problem with this often used solution is that people don't understand that paying less does not make the food or experience better. I would have gladly paid an extra 15% to actually enjoy the burger. By the way what happened to the 2 bite guarantee? False advertising, I guess. During the visit we also had the Mac and Cheese bites and a chicken sandwich that was reasonably average but this review has to be based on this burger alone. If you are going to have a menu that is 95% burgers and advertise them to be the best in town you should it able to cook a burger to proper temperature. I suppose that all the voters are people that like extremely well hamburgers. If you are not one of those people I would suggest you skip this place! read more

Overall: 4.5/5 (dine in) We came late Friday night for dinner so it was pretty empty. Service was great, and the food came out pretty quickly. They asked us if we wanted our burger cut in half then even went went step further and put the half burger and half 2AM tots in 2 separate baskets for us so it was like 2 servings instead of one! The portion is pretty big so we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Tailgater Sampler ($21.95):This sampler came with souther fried pickles, spicy cheese curds, boneless wings, onion rings, and sriracha ranch. The fried pickles weren't bad but wish they were crispier. The spicy cheese curds were actually 3 huge triangles. They were battered nicely, crispy, and very cheesy. I could only eat 1 of these for the meal since I can't eat that much cheese in 1 seating. I think it came with a marinara sauce as well which was better than expected. Onion rings were alright. For the boneless chicken, we got garlic parm and hot honey jalapeno sauces. The boneless chicken itself was a little salty but still tasty. It had a lot of meat, a good batter ratio, and was my 2nd favorite item. In terms of sauce, I liked the hot honey jalapeno most then the sriracha ranch then the garlic parm. Shroomin' Down Flamingo ($19.95) + Sub 2AM Tots ($3.95): The 2AM tots had nacho cheese, bacon bits, diced tomato, & lime crema. It was really good. The tots were barely crispy so they fell apart easily. The Shroomin' Down Flamingo burger comes with sautéed Jack Daniels whiskey mushrooms, bacon, red onion, arugula, swiss cheese, and horseradish. The patty was cooked medium rare so it was juicy and really complemented all the other ingredients. The buns were also very fluffy and good. The burger was the best item out of everything I tried that night. Sex on the 50 ($12): Tasted like spiked orange juice. Light & not worth it. read more

First visit for the third game of the Panthers/Oilers Stanley Cup finals game. Daniel was our server and he knocked it out of the park! We were able to take advantage of the unexpected happy hour = bonus! Had the spicy ranch, dry rub wings, they were phenomenal! Had the 25 ounce craft beer drafts. Got the slider combo with fries (burgers I chose: Bar Code, Blueberry Big BBQ and the Green Chili). My buddy got the Shroomin Down Flamingo burger with onion rings. All the burgers we tasted were fantastic! The bacon, as one call out of the toppings, was exceptional. We ended the night with a pint of Revisions, Vegas as F!ck, which was fantastic. Reading the reviews on Lugers, a lot of folks said the burger was just ok. I decided to revisited a burger joint I had visited on a burger run in 2019, Bar Code. I remember the burger was excellent. What a fantastic burger place away from the strip near UNLV! I was really hungry and also needed a place with wifi and found this place. It has a bar vibe but is clean and nice. Most of their tables are tall bar style bars but the stool chairs have nice back support and are comfortable which is nice because I quite a bit of work to do on my laptop. I got the Hangover Burger ($17.95) at the recommendation of the waitress and it was awesome. I didn't have a hangover but I was nursing a good headache from lack of sleep (no sleep in Vegas...go figure! Lol) The photo I attached pretty much sums it up! It is everything it looks like and is so tasty. The fries are perfectly crispy and as salty as you'd hope they would be!
