I brought a friend for lunch. We had pretzel bites, Kali Mist and La Canna (Italian). We were greeted nicely and she took our order. The sodas are self serve which is nice! If eating in you get a number for the table for delivery. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio. The tables had not been wiped and were a bit dirty but that is my only negative. I had the Cali Mist my last visit and recommended it to my friend. He loved it! It really is a fantastic sandwich. The dressing they put on it just makes everything moist and even better. The toasted sub is a welcomed addition! The La Canna was good. I presured myself to try something else as it was my 2nd visit but I really love that Cali Mist lol. I love their pretzel bites. can never go wrong with Cheba hut. By far one of my favorite sandwich shops in town. Every location I have gone to the customer service is always amazing and the quality is consistent. The food does take a minute but they cook their meat it's not just sitting there in pans like other sandwich shops which I appreciate. They offer different varieties of drinks like kool aid and teas that they don't have at many other places. Their decor is eccentric and makes you feel like a dive bar feeling almost ( and they do have a bar area) I opted for the white widow and made some substitutions and they always get it on par. It's been awhile since I felt compelled to write a review, I'll start by saying that Cheba Hut is without a doubt the best "Toasted sub" I've had the pleasure of eating at home twice this week so far. It beats out many of my favorite cold sandwich shops in many places on the west coast and in Vegas. I thought I despised toasted/hot sandwiches through so many lackluster or uninspiring shops, from local to big chain, the cold counterpart was usually the best choice on the menu. I walked in on Monday after doing one of my finals, after I was bummed I forgot about (amazing prosciutto/mortadella sandwich @) Cugino's being closed on Monday and i was down bad for a sandwich. So I walked to Cheba Hut, and that was it for me. They have a bar, the staff is nice. And the theme was interesting. It's right next to a college, but it's pretty calm and cool, great vibe overall. They have amazing sandwiches, and cured my mindset that cold untoasted sandwiches were the best. Thanks Cheba Hut for opening my mind. I'll be a regular now. read more

Attended a sporting event at UNLV. Ran over here to grab some sandwiches. We have always seen Cheba Hut's but never checked it out. We asked what the more popular sandwiches and they mentioned the chicken & ranch. So we ordered two of those, and then I got the roast beef with horseradish. Not sure of the names. Service was great. The sandwiches were tasty. I missed out on the heat of the horseradish, but that was ok. We got some drinks and chips, all good. Definitely will try them again when craving a sandwich. I lived in Hendo for a dozen years and never made it here, but upon return to The Sphere for U2's opening night, I made it to Cheba Hut! WOW! I LOVE this place!! I was looking for a quick lunch between class at UNLV and been wanting to try this spot. I was trying to decide between the Italian and the roast beef with horseradish sauce. I went with the east beef. As I walked to my seat I noticed that the place also had a bar which is pretty cool. When I got my sandwich it looked delicious. I folded it and took a bite. The bread was soft and the ingredients worked perfectly together. Roast beef, grilled mushrooms and peppers, lettuce e tomatoes and a sliced pickle on top. As I chewed the sandwich the horseradish flavor would dance in my mouth. So good! It reminded me of eating prime rib. The place has a cool vibe and the theme is for weed smokers. Many cool old school memories in this place. The number they give you as you wait for your order is old and hill funny movies. I got " knocked up" as my table holder. Loved my sandwich it did fill me up, I got an 8 inch (pinner) but I think next time I'll go for the 12 inch (blunt). I got to enjoy the Apollo 13 sandwich which had grilled chicken, tomatoes, feta, lettuce, red onion, olives and pickles. It was a pretty yummy sandwich that I would order again. I also tried their nachos but wasn't too huge a fan of. I'm not a huge fan of melted cheese on chips and I also wasn't expecting Dorito chips which I think I missed that on my part but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I've never reviewed a place on yelp let alone even downloaded it, I usually review other people's reviews about places and go along with it... but for me to single handedly download this app to tell you about the quality of this fast food sub shop must mean this guys behind the counter at Cheba Hut are doing something right. I've never seen so many bangers on a menu in my life, you quite literally can't choose a wrong sub. I was honestly scared I wouldn't make the BEST decision here. Don't even get me started on the prices, these are cheap let me tell you, yet the quality is more than what you pay for, the picture really doesn't do justice for how mouth-watering these looked at first glance. The target audience for this establishment seems to target potheads, which there is nothing wrong with just a funny demographic to target for a sub shop, but I promise you this shit still hits when you're sober.
