The building itself has a long history -- it was Perry's before Cutler, and Perry's was fantastic in its day. We really missed having a great spot there, so it's a joy to have an absolutely delicious place back on the side of Route 1. Vicki has done a great job sprucing up the space. It's adorable inside, thoughtfully done, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We're so glad this little place is open again, and even happier that it's now Vicki's Kitchen. Highly recommend.

The inside of the barn is absolutely gorgeous and didn't really need to be decorated as the appearance is gorgeous as is and they had some decorations already there. It was so easy and so much fun, everyone was able to relax and enjoy our time together. The ceremony was beautiful as was the reception. The spot is incredibly gorgeous. They had all tables, chairs, linens and everything else we needed to accommodate the 150 people that were there. We couldn't have done it without Julie, Charles and there beautiful family that put in so much effort and made us feel at home. We highly recommend this venue and couldn't be happier. Needless to say, we found ourselves at the Chart Room on more than one occasion. Happy hour on the pier is a must do. The view coupled with half price drinks and apps can't be beat. We always meet great people who are visiting just like us. One evening we had dinner there as well. My wife had the Baked Stuffed Haddock, and I had the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Large portions, excellent presentation and at a price I expect to pay at a five-star restaurant on the coast of Maine. What I feel is the highlight of our experience at the Chart Room was the staff. Everything started with James the General Manager and Jamie, the Booking Manager. We appreciate all their help before we even arrived there. There were several members of the wait staff that were amazing as well. Some that we've seen each season when we visit. Chris, Presley, Val, Miranda and Lexi are just a few of them. Our bartender Jamie was equally amazing. Ellen enjoyed a couple unique drinks that Jamie had added a small twist to. It was a dish that could have been split, instead he had leftovers for a different day. My parents stuck to their goal of having as much Maine Lobster as they could. The lazy lobster option is always appreciated by vacation goers. I went with the halibut. I really like halibut and this was my favorite halibut filet I've had. The carrots were also bigger than most carrots I have had in my life. The fries were an awesome complementary side. I ate everything on my plate and enjoyed every second of the food coma I was in the rest of the night. Our waitress was attentive to our dietary needs. She was very passionate and informative about the seafood offerings. The halibut I had was from the Maine waters, which is a rarer due to the limited time US fishermen can get halibut. Glad I got some! If you have the opportunity to have the halibut, go for it! Awesome spot. I appreciate the gluten free options and the mocktails. The mocktail was the least favorite part of my meal. Hood but more bitter than I anticipated. Overall, amazing. Food, ambience and service. All of it!

A snack is provided every afternoon ( baked goods , lemonade, coffee or tea) We ordered a picnic lunch for one of our hikes thru the park and the host provided an insulted backpack. Ralph bakes fresh bread for the sandwiches. Parking is ample but tight at times. We will be back. Anna and Ralph were wonderful hosts.
