Bree took care of the table, a casino executive joined as my guest and well deserved as how hard he works, and Bree was exceptional as was Aron in visiting with us and assisting all evening. Where to begin -- a great environment, truly the best of people work there. Knowledgeable, friendly, will engage with new or frequent guests and make the entire time a nice evening out. It is not formal and stuffy dining -- it is a fun, friendly place, incredible food, end of the casino and not hemmed in by tables and machines, open and no smokers, a great place in a quality casino. I had the BMG Salad -- light, lemon accent dressing, tastes great, feels healthy, less filling. Not sure you can ask more of a salad. It always is consistent. There are other appetizers, but that one, the chopped salad and French Onion soup, and meatballs, after asking for less bread accent are among the best., After I had the NY Strip, baked potato and vegetable accent. All "meat" dishes at BMG are exceptional for those of us not into seafood. Ribeye, filet, NY strip, pork chop, lamb chops, short rib, a great range of options. Great quality, but the preparation and temperature are now perfect with Chef Mark, Chef Carlos, and an incredible team working with them at the grill. It has never been better and more consistent. I love lamb and pork, ribeye most of all, but trusted Chef Mark to select, he did, he was right and I have no reluctance in admitting that. Perhaps one of the finest cuts and preparation I have ever had...anywhere. If you have not eaten at BMG, you need to and meet the people there and have a great night. If you have a while ago, you are missing an improved menu under Chef Mark and the best grill and prep team, possible. Every server assistant and host is the best. And in a casino, away from smokers and cigar people, it is a haven for fine dining alone or with friends and family. I write more than most because, well, that's me. But also I think where you eat and have a good time, particularly with family or close friends, is more than the menu and table. More than the view. Visited yesterday and I can say everything is so detailed. It reminded me of Hell's Kitchen! You can tell staff was specially trained. I believe our waiter was Reed. He gave us suggestions and never made us feel rushed. He was extra nice with our special needs daughter which is always heart warming. I told him my daughter's loaded baked potato was the best one we've ever had. Amazing what can be done to a potato to make it so fancy and delicious. We came here to celebrate and the service experience was horrible. we waited more then 45 mins no water refill even when the waiter Fidel brought us food he didn't refill our empty water cups. The spaghetti came with three enormous meatballs that were tender on the inside and the bucatini had a pile of guanciale on top. My only critique of the bucatini was that the guanciale could have been pan fried a little more. While I personally like large pieces of pork fat, it got a little heavy at the end. read more

Everything tasted pretty good, but I think I had slightly higher expectations with it being the "upscale" restaurant in the casino. That's ok though, that's on me. Our server was nice and he was transparent that they were short-staffed, so we didn't mind that service was on the slower side. It was a bit dark inside, but big and open. The only thing that I struggled with was the cigarette smoke smell. This restaurant was technically on the non-smoking side of the casino, but the scent really traveled. I had to wash everything when I got home because I'm super sensitive to smoke. We wouldn't go back because of that smell, which I didn't know about beforehand. I ordered the Prime rib 3 course meal (Cesar salad, prime rib with potato and green bean, and this amazing flourless chocolate cake for dessert). I had French onion soup which was delicious. (It's one of my favorites and I'm picky) then I was coursed out with a boneless ribeye steak cooked perfect medium rare, Brussels sprouts and sautéed shrimp . I came here with a casino regular. He comes he often to eat and recommended that we ordered several orders of bread. He was not wrong. The bread did not disappoint. They served several types of fresh bread such as a French Bread, an Olive Bread and a Cranberry Bread. The bread is out of this world fresh and delicious. You must order extra. Be careful not to fill up on it though. You've been warned! The Cranberry Bread is the best Lobster bisque is served table side. It's creamy and has the right amount thickness. Solid bisque. Our waitress was Tiffany and she was very attentive and upbeat. She provided very good service. She was very accommodating in brining several orders of bread for our table. I ordered the 8 Ounce Meyer Prime Filet Mignon ($75) and it was good steak and they cooked it to perfection as I requested it cooked medium and it was done just right. We also shared an order of the Carnivore ($22) which included Pepperoni, Sausage and Bacon. We added Mushrooms for additional cost. I knew the pizza would be delicious when I first tried their bread. I made reservations weeks in advance for a party of 12, expecting a seamless dining experience. Instead, we were met with complete disregard. The manager made no effort to accommodate two elderly guests or a member of our party with a disability who required booth seating. Even more frustrating, a child in our group had to sit at a high bar table--clearly not compatible with a booster seat and unsafe. When I politely asked the manager to work with us, he dismissed our concerns with a cold "we have an event" and offered no solutions--no flexibility, no empathy, and certainly no hospitality. To make matters worse, two of our guests had spent nearly $1,200 on a hotel for the weekend to be part of this gathering. We spent almost $700 at this restaurant and walked away with nothing but disappointment. Do yourself a favor and go to Applebee's instead--you'll get better service, better accommodation, and people who actually care that you're there. read more

With only a few dining options currently open at Pala Casino and Resort, this is probably the most elegant. The ambiance is fancier. It's further away from the casino action. Wait staff are more attentive. The food options are also much pricier. Though they don't have a drink menu, they get drinks from the bar. The food is excellent and so is the service. My wife and I decided to dine in after a concert. We did make reservations and were seated without any delay. Within a few minutes we were approached by Stephen - our server. We placed our drink and food order and had them out in less than half an hour. Which worked out great since they provide delicious complimentary bread and butter as we waited. We enjoyed a little bit of everything. Appetizers were clams and mussels. Had a Wagyu Burger with pink and a heaping side of garlic fries. The Fruti de Mare was a good size too and very flavorful. By the end of our meal, we were stuffed and couldn't squeeze in a dessert... which ensured we would have to return again lol. Price, value, selection- Bar Meets Grill met all our needs!
