Dined alone at Elementa on Friday, August 14. Wanted to dial back and just have a great dinner, relax. I may have had one of the best dinners ever. The place is perfect for private, more intimate dining (even if a party of one). Music at a perfect level, room spacing done right, booths and tables options, lighting, it was well set up by the design consultant with input from Pala staff. From arrival, greeted by Abraham -- a wine expert, a host who exudes friendliness and welcome, always a good conversation. After seating, enjoyed discussions with Anne Marie and several servers, all classy, with Gabriel, a new server, handled my table and was absolutely perfect. Explained specials, Abraham and I handled the wine, and the dining part began. And it was exceptional. Elementa's menu has changed and expanded in all positive ways. A new soup is creative and unique. The cesar salad remains excellent. But I went away from the wagyu steak to a rabbit special with elements of duck and chicken, vegetables on a pea puree, two slices, filling and one of the best meals I have ever had. Have to applaud the creativity of the chef and his team, exceptional options, an expanded menu, and complicated dishes made simple and among the best ever enjoyed. Two of the best restaurant supporters out there, Artie Giordano and Sarah Jaclyn came by and we talked, Abraham as well, and -- like here -- I raved about Elementa and what a quiet environment for a perfect evening. Elementa is lovely. The dark high back chairs make you feel like royalty while you dine. The decor is gorgeous throughout the restaurant. We were fortunate to be seated in a private dining area that featured an overhead sculpture of fish circling. Our table centerpiece was absolutely gorgeous in a sea theme with blue lighting illuminating the centerpiece from below. The servers were very attentive. The food was delicious. We had a party of five. Three people ordered the black flat iron steak. The price was reasonable. The steak was cooked to perfection and everyone really enjoyed it. I ordered the Branzino and it was OK. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious and they add bacon into it. We had an excellent experiences at Elementa! Pleasantly surprised by how upscale this place felt. Dimly lit. Great host and great service. But what do you really want to know. The food. I went with the salmon and salmon to me is always generally great but to get it cooked where it is near raw but not and skin as crispy as you could want. It was a great dish. Really enjoyed our evening at Elementa. Great service from their whole team from getting us in earlier than our reservation, to delivering a delicious meal including recommendations for us. Fresh bread and butter selection is a yummy while figuring out our order. Oysters and pearls app was a fresh and tasty start. Branzino had crispy potato scallop-like scales and was perfectly cooked. 14oz Wagyu strip MR was expertly cooked and needed nothing...though the cognac sauce did add some extra savory to the bite. The pear delight dessert was just ok and probably not a repeat for us. While tasty, it was really small and a bit too bland after the strong flavors of the main courses. Old fashioneds were the perfect compliment to the dinner and a good mix indeed. Four stars is the result of the requirement to walk through the smokiest casino in Southern California to get to the restaurant. Pala needs to invest in a stronger/better HVAC system to circulate clean air and evacuate the smoke. We will definitely be back, as the area needed a new place to eat inventive, tasty food since Harlow's shut down unceremoniously in Dec-25. Keep it up Elementa! read more

This review is long overdue. We had dinner at Elemental in early May to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service from the waitress and the sommelier was impeccable from start to finish. The complimentary fresh bread and butter was yummy. We had Caesar salad, mussels soup en route, octopus and flat iron steak. The food was delicious since everything was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the recommended Cabernet Sauvignon and the additional wine tasting offered from the friendly sommelier. We also appreciate the complimentary birthday dessert. That Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée was exquisite! We will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. read more

Wow! Unbelievably delicious! My wife and I had the chicken which was tender and moist. Cooked perfectly, the vinaigrette on the salad had a perfect touch to it. We had the apple tart for dessert and cappuccino. Equally delicious. Let's get to the service. That is where the double. Wow! Really comes in Ann was our server or I'll say our lead server because there was a team behind her that helped her with every single thing including bringing butter to the table and bread to the table and refilling our Waters. Started the evening off with the oysters. They were a nice clean palette cleanser. When entrees were brought out the chefs dropped them off themselves, that is always seen as a nice touch. We ordered the branzino and the flat iron. The steak was cooked perfectly very impressed. Was a little disappointed in the Branzino. Fell flat on the flavor, little smaller than expected, however the crispiness was there. I was a huge fan of the twice baked potato. When it was time for dessert, we decided to pass. Nothing really jumped off the menu at us and this is where your server really had the opportunity to step up. Anything other than "did we save room for dessert?" Helps in the sale of more food after dinner. Some of my dearest friends and I dined at Elementa, and it was a stunning experience. I'm a sucker for great ambiance, and they nailed it, very moody, with great lighting and beautiful sculptures throughout the restaurant. So fun! We tried a variety of dishes, including oysters, octopus, wagyu strip steak, and a tomahawk steak, both of which were large enough to share. It was a lot of food! I had the filet with a twice-baked potato, and it was perfect. The filet was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Don't even get me started on the desserts! Since we had a larger group, we ordered every item on the desert menu and shared. The presentation was next level, and my taste buds were exploding. Amazing staff our waitress was Annmarie, she was attentive without being intrusive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. She had perfect timing, ensuring our drinks were always full and our courses arrived seamlessly. I went with family and my boyfriend to try this place out since they're fairly new, and their service was amazing. It was subtle, but I appreciated the "ladies first" when it came to our time to order (it surprised me honestly because you don't get that too often anymore). Shout out to our waiter for the amazing service too! The ambiance was nice as well, with soft blue lighting. The noise was fairly soft, but it's not like those uncomfortable atmospheres in some of those fancy restaurants where one peep and you're deemed "immature". Our food was absolutely delicious, especially the mushroom soup starter (sooo good). My party got a variety of dishes like the scallops and duck, but everything was delicious overall (I didn't know the duck would be soft but still good!). Overall I would say everything was great. This was truly the worst experience ever. This was a birthday dinner and my meal never arrived. When we asked about it we were told 10 minutes. 10 minutes came an went. We asked that everyone else get a fresh meal so we can eat together. They said no they would heat up the existing meals. Needless to say nobody at out table ate. Elementa was superb! It is closed off from the casino so no smoke no noise, just quiet upscale elegance. The entire staff was amazing and there were so many serving our every wish. But getting down to the important thing, the food was amazing. I had pan seared scallops that were obviously high quality and perfectly. Cooked, they did melt in your mouth. With it was green pea risotto. The peas were creamy and mixed in with the risotto. If you don't. Like peas this is not the dish for you, but peas are my favorite vegetable and risotto is my favorite rice dish, so I was in heaven. One of my friends had the lobster, it was beautifully done and she loved it. Another friend had the Flatiron steaks and she declared it excellent. After the Adam Lambert concert we rushed back to beat their 10pm closing and have the Tahitian Crème Brulee, which was amazing. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, they couldn't have been nicer. We didn't dilly dally because we wanted them to go home, but they didn't rush us at all. The website misleads you to think it is a five star steakhouse yet the service was slow, asked for a table and was sat at a half booth and chair , decor is old Asian with no tablecloths, water was filtered but no ice was available, the waitress kept saying our bread was coming and finally showed up 30 minutes later, the Caeser's salad had hydrated chewy cherry tomatoes with a terrible lemony dressing, and each course took so long to get we asked for our ticket and left. We paid for the two glasses of wine and they took off the salad. Worst experience ever. The manager couldn't believe we didn't want the entrees and were leaving after we explained that the table next to us came in 20 minutes after us and were already done with their entrees. The table next to us was disappointed in their flat iron steaks for $48 that were 1/2 inch thick and size of a deck of cards. Also, bring your own wine as their wine list for reds is short and very limited. They said the chef prepared a French flair to the food but there was nothing special about this Restuarant or food and it needs to be gutted and start with new mgmt. read more

The food was amazing! The market salad was the most beautiful salad I've ever seen. The crème brûlée was one of the best I've ever had.

The atmosphere was dramatic and modern, definitely an bold choice for Pala but it works. While you can see the hustle and lights of the casino, the sounds are blocked. Our waitress was very attentive but felt like she was unsure of pacing and steps of service as to when she would place flatware, pick up plates and so on but you could see the effort was there. The food, oysters and pearls were amazing, perfect balance of sweet and briny, the house bread was a drier dupe of milk breads, so close yet so far. The caesar salad, nothing offensive, nothing outstanding. The potato grand mere, a simple highlight of the meal, the crunchy hen of the wood mushrooms also a great side. The waygu strip, was magical, perfectly cooked, beautifully plated. Is this the best steakhouse on the 76 casino trail? Not yet, that distinction still belongs to Black and Blue at Valley View. However, this concept is a glisten of hope for Pala, pre-covid, their culinary programs would give some Vegas strip properties a run for thier money. This concept is a bold choice and a definite upgrade over the Oak Room. Put in a cocktail program to match the energy and the fifth star will soon appear. read more

Where to start? Ambiance, service, food was amazing. Our waitress, Ann was knowledgable and friendly. She was able to explain each dish, recommend wine and was super friendly. We were there for our 46th wedding anniversary and could not have had a more memorable time. I have travelled the world before retiring and can certainly say that this is 5-star.
