My son and I visited "Bar Pizza" on our way to the Cape, which I would recommend because it's close to the highway, and it's one of the higher rated Bar Pizza Spots in the South Shore area. The South Shore area is known for Bar Pizza. If you don't know, Bar Pizza is thin crust pizza, and is generally individual sized and somewhat crispy. "Bar Pizza" has a modern aesthetic and nice sit down area. Service was friendly. We ordered a few different pies to share. One Cheese. One Buffalo Chicken. And one Bacon Cheeseburger. The crusts generally could have been a bit more well done. The toppings were all very good. The red sauce on the cheese was tasty. The cheese was well marbled. The Buffalo Chicken was well executed. The Bacon Cheeseburger also had pickles and a secret sauce type stripes. Very tasty. "Bar Pizza" is definitely worth checking out. 4.25 Stars read more

I ordered 1 bat pizza and 1 garden salad. When the teenager at the register informed me that it came to $27, I almost choked. "Are you serious?? Is it any good?" She answered, "Its okay." Stopped in for dinner while shopping in the strip mall area. Around 530 and the place was empty, but gradually business picked for takeout and eat-in. Place was a bit dingy, loud music from the kitchen, soda machine apparently did not work as we had to buy bottles of water. We split a bar pizza and a salad. Pizza was a bit small, little oily, but tasty. Salad was cranberry, romaine, bacon, blue cheese and cranberry vinaigrette. Food was okay, not the best pizza and no leftovers from a "large" 10" pizza. The South Shore bar pizza scene has more of an underground kind of vibe to it. This place is commercial- even being in a populated shopping plaza. The topping choices are interesting and I appreciate that. But oof it lends to not really being 'pizza' like a birria pizza. When we ordered the typical 'laced' the girl at the counter wasn't totally sure that that was and that says something right there! Always order it laced and well done. Maybe she was new? She did struggle with figuring out how to add the garlic sauce onto our pizza in the system. The pizza: pepperoni- cooked nicely linguica with garlic sauce- I liked the topping choices here and it was flavorful! I wish there was more garlic sauce on it, maybe even drizzle it on top? Went here for pizza in salad after a day of shopping. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and a green pepper pizza, as well as the cranberry salad. As usual, everything was perfection. The salad was cooked exactly as we asked for, the salad was fresh and crisp with a delicious home made dressing. Still bad burnt pizza. So I decided to give this place a second shot. That was a mistake. Lousy crust. Edges and toppings burnt. I called to ask if it should be burnt and they said yes, that is the Bar Pizza Style. I said when I get other bar lies it tastes good, and theirs tastes like $&1T . This is my second time getting pizza here. I remember the first being alright, but unremarkable. Today one pizza came out okay if a bit dry, but the other was super overcooked and dry. It looked and tasted more like a cracker or like it had sat out for hours. To top it off, it was $25 for 2 personal sized pizzas. I can't imagine that I'll be going back. Excellent bar pizza. Ordered a Buffalo chicken and a sausage and onion to go. The pizza tasted just as amazing heated up the next day as it did fresh which says something about the quality. I wanted to get a salad but didn't, but saw someone order one and it looked great. If you are dining in, they have a few TVs and they put the bruins game on for us as there weren't many people dining in - mostly seems like a take out spot. There are cans of beer and wine available (decent beer selection too!) as well as fountain soda. The pizza came out relatively quick and was piping hot - delicious. There's a large parking lot as it's located inside of a plaza with other businesses. Prices are moderate - $14-20 for a 10" pizza depending on what you put on it. Really probably a 2.5 star. The wife and me were in a generous mood so it gets a 3 star. This place is WAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. We got the Whiz Whit pizza with little pieces of "shaved ribeye", red pepper, onions, and streaked with cheese whiz (see photos). The pizza was tasty and the combo worked ok (the cheese whiz mostly added decoration) also it wasn't greasy or wilty. The pizza was around 9.5" in diameter. We paid $16 + tax and takeout tip for this. So, unless ingredient prices have risen astronomically since, oh, about the last time I blinked, prices are way too high for what you get. I came here a few weeks ago and the pizza was great. The soda machine was broken. I'm back for more pizza and the soda machine is still broken. The soda selection in the fridge is very weak and they have no ice. If you aren't going to fix the soda machine, get some ice and a better selection. read more

Visiting from Texas and wanted to try "Bar Pizza", heard it's popular on the cape. This is a new place and had some very interesting combinations in addition to custom orders. The pizzas are 10" so perfect for me (kids/wife might share one)! Not a lot of edge crusts so better to enjoy without filling up too fast. I'm a traditional topping person, but wife tried the bacon cheeseburger (had pickles and Thousand Island dressing). I tried it and was shocked how good it was! Tomato Pie is a Rhode Island favorite, strange looking but sauce was great so that pulled it off! The pepperoni was exceptionally tasty, the pepperoni was much better than I've had at fast food pizza places. Salads looked great too, will probably visit again for those before going home. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. All in all it's a great go to place for awesome pizza! LOCATION NOTE: GPS will end at the front of the complex and you won't see the restaurant. Tried tonight for first time. Really good right up there with the best bar pizza maybe even better. Tried white onion and a hamburger pizza. We were surprised that it was so good. We used uber eats and it was buy one get one free so for 4 one topping pizzas it was $30 plus tip. A lot less than picking up at town spa which easily would have been close to $60. This was a great deal. Will order again if on special because it was 30 minutes away so had to heat back up but so good. read more

Nailed it!! I met a friend here for lunch, he wasn't familiar with the "Bar Pizza" style but I was raised on "NiPies", Christos, Linwood and Town Spa so I really wanted to try the pizza here. I ordered my typical go to: Pepper & Mushroom and a Greek Salad. I was amazed when the pizza arrived that it was "Laced" which is kinda like the secret handshake of Bar Pizza! After one bite of salad and a slice of Pizza, I swear I was teleported to "Pablo, party of 5 in the Gold room" the Greek salad was perfect, plenty of real Feta, calamata olives, cakes, crisp lettuce lightly dressed with perfect Greek dressing ( Yasou?). The pizza was perfect, I mean perfect! Fresh green peppers, real mushrooms and cooked exactly as it should be!! Out back to school shopping and saw this place . We figured we would try it out . We got 2 pizzas. Regular cheese and a caprese. A Greek salad , chicken tenders . And 4 fountain sodas . It cost just under $60 . That is kinda high . However the food was excellent . I preferred the cheese pizza over the caprese. The Greek salad was phenomenal, Very fresh service was good .
