Got takeout here tonight food was awesome. I had the chicken gyro and a Greek salad with grilled chicken. Next time I'd request the chicken on the side so the salad doesn't get warm. This review is based on an order of one large chicken parm sub recently. Probably shouldn't put too much stock in it, as I have never had anything else here. As for the chicken parm, it wasn't good. If you blindfolded me and asked me to tell you what I just ate, I wouldn't say chicken parm. I would def say tomato sauce, a sub roll, and cheese, but I'm at a loss as to what the other rubbery, uncutlet-like pieces were. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the service was quick (I stopped in at tail end of lunch time, between 1-130pm, and my small pizza was ready in 8-10 mins). The pizza is good, fairly common Greek style we have in MA. Crispy crust with chewy inside. If I were to order another pizza from here (which I expect to since I work down the street), I would probably order with extra cheese, and maybe extra pepperonis. That's a matter of personal taste, though. Is it the best pizza you'll ever have? No. But it's definitely worth the price and tastes good. I have been searching for years for homemade Greek salad dressing like B&F pizza in Waltham (where I used to work) and finally have it. This dressing may have been even better. I only tried the Greek salad and buffalo wings. The wings were fine but the salad was a star. Great size. Got an extra pita and the amazing, homemade dressing. Don't get the tuna sub. It is more like tuna paste. I threw most of it away. Plus it was expensive at almost 10 dollars with tax. The table and bench chairs are too close together and the benches can't be moved. It was uncomfortable to sit. There are no tables and chairs just bench seating. A nice little neighborhood pizza joint, tucked behind (and predating) Bertucci's. Probably a better deal, too! The pizza is Greek style, with a thin crust but baked in a deep pan so the crust sticks up. Flavorful sauce and just the right amount of cheese to give it a little grease. We my mom and I went here today. She got a Fish n Chip. I got the Meatball & Sausage sub with mushroom, onion, peppers, sauce and cheese. My mothers fish and chip was not seasoned at all. One piece of fish was not even breaded on half of the fish. So everything was so over cooked and tasteless. My sub was nasty. You could taste the meatballs were from a freezer. The sausage was just nasty little rings. The onion peppers and rooms were cooked ok but had no flavor. The trace of sauce on it was just that a trace. The American cheese on it was just placed on top and melted. Then after the nasty sub sat it had a pool of grease. This also was in need of some serious seasoning. The BEST Fish and Chips in town. New England fish and chips is delicious at Classic Pizza. Their fish is always golden, fluffy, and light, and the meal is always served piping hot with tasty fries and coleslaw. My husband and I have been coming to this Mama and Daughter pizza parlor for the last 8 years since we moved here. Since I can't eat cheese, I love having the choice to order their fish and chips instead of their fabulous pizza, especially when I have had a bad day - its the best comfort food. And Mama is always ready to listen to your problems with a kind smile and her comforting words of wisdom while you wait for your fish to fry. Redemption tasted so good! I placed a review about Classic a few months ago and it was a negative one. I recently heard about a shake up in management and we wanted to give it another try (we came here for years before things started going a little south). Well it seems things are back in order! I tried the Greek salad with chicken for the first time and wow I am now hooked. The dressing itself is delicious. My whole family loves their meals.
