Fressi salad

I went here last night for a girls night with my friend. There is no reservations here but there is a waitlist option. I checked the waitlist before arriving in downtown Easton but there was no wait. I left a little early so I could find parking. I love the location because it's not right in the mist of the chaos downtown, has a quieter vibe to me. The atmosphere was so modern, clean looking and a chill vibe. I was greeted and seated immediately. The server was so sweet and accommodating. Drinks were top notch. We ordered some items to share. Wings, salad and a pizza. Everything was excellent. I'm telling the pizza was amazing!! Brick oven white pizza with mushrooms. I love that I didn't need to be too dressed up and really got to relax and enjoy my evening. Absolutely give this place a try!!

Vegan Pizza

Bar Torino is amazing! Ate there for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. My Resy profile already had "vegan" listed as a dietary restriction, and before even ordering, the server addressed it and told me everything they could do to accommodate me. The food was INCREDIBLE. We had the broccolini and I got the vegan pizza. Ya'll, it had CHEESE! A downtown Easton restaurant had VEGAN CHEESE on their pizza! I could cry. It was delicious. Please keep this on the menu! I told all my vegan friends!

Appetizers: meatball, calamari, and asparagus.

Let me tell you about Bar Torino. First off, the indoor/outdoor space is very cool, with euro and west coast vibes. From the music to the decor and palms outside, you don't feel like you are in the Lehigh Valley. Their service was prompt, but not pretentious. The food and drink are both TOP notch. We had several appetizers (see photos), all of which were unique and very well thought out (and tasty!). The drink list includes a mixture of classic and specialty mixed drinks that were all solid - we had several. Wine list also extensive, but we aren't wine drinkers. Beer list included one of the most sought after beers in the country! (Hill Farmstead) And last but not least, the PIZZA was BOMB. I consider myself a pizza snob, and this place is the best Italian-style pizza I've had anywhere near here. We got the "speck" which was a stellar and cooked to perfection. The pictures speak for themselves. You want a chill spot for good food and drink?..this right here is IT. We will be back!

Why the sour reviews? They all reflect some kind of ambivalent emotional response- vindictive even…read more We have been coming here since they opened, and frequented his prior establishment at the Silk Mill. Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

Very quaint spot located in Easton. We stopped in on a Sunday evening about an hour before closing,…read moreand the restaurant was fairly quiet. Camille, our server, was excellent. While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.

In truth, was always a kind of creepy, dark, wonder- what- this- is -kind -of -establishment - with only a single employee and a very high turnover. This past weekend, after calling repeatedly - (4 times) to ask if they were still open (its the kind of place you imagine will be shut down at any time) and no one answering, I made the mistake of taking a chance and walking over there. At the counter, with no one there, I dialed the phone # again - curious. The only employee, finally came over and I asked if they were still open. She clicked her nails on the counter and gave me "a look". I explained, that I had called repeatedly and no one answered - wondering if store was open. She only glared at me and then, refused to serve me, calling me rude. I have never had anyone call me rude, ever. I am a working class person, always respectful of others, regardless of race, gender, etc. When I asked if she could please, accept my apology and allow me to purchase this bottle of wine, as it was for a friend's birthday at my apartment (friends were actually waiting for me} she became even more absurd and nasty. Cleary not a stable person - my main point here. Please avoid. Worst shopping experience I have ever had!

The place is beautiful with great seating not too condensed as well as bar seating. Service was second to none. Pleasant and friendly (Darcie was great). The food was great. We had: Wedge salad - great Bread- great Sides of green beans and fries - great Fillet and cowboy rib eye omg. These were both cooked to perfection. The biggest struggle was saving a little to bring home for my son to try. We loved it. Thanks again.

The aged steaks are well prepared, and the 500-degree plate presentation does what it is designed to do. The sizzling plate may impress first-timers, but it is straight from the national chain playbook and no longer feels special. It preserves heat, not originality. Sides are à la carte and priced aggressively for what are essentially standard steakhouse accompaniments. They are fine. They are not memorable. At this price point, diners reasonably expect at least one dish that shows some imagination. The wine list is the biggest disappointment. It reads like a Pennsylvania "Chairman's Selection" circular rather than a curated cellar. Safe, widely available bottles dominate, with little depth or personality. For a restaurant positioning itself as an upscale destination, that lack of curation is hard to ignore. Service was professional and the dining room attractive. If you want a reliable local steakhouse and do not mind paying for it, Three Oaks will meet expectations. If you are looking for distinction or a reason to return beyond convenience, you may find it difficult to justify the bill.

We started with a classic Caesar salad, polenta fries, Anna's Italian meatballs and the fabulous fig and pig pizza. All yummy! I went for the white sangria (a little more fruit would've made me happier, but it wasn't around that long). My sister-in-laws had the house Cabernet Sauvignon and enjoyed it. We were too full for dessert but somehow made room for espresso martinis. They were pretty and tasty. I probably shouldn't have had one at 7:30 but so worth staying up late. The bar was happening, the food delicious and the service was excellent. Empty dishes disappeared within a minute, more drinks offered as soon as the glass was almost empty and all with smiles and appreciation.

Stokes is cranking out artisan coal fired pizzas, home made pastas and craft cocktails - all with smiles and enthusiasm. Each member of the staff WANTED to be there and were eager to satisfy. The pasta here was top shelf. Rich complex flavors with home made pasta cooked to the perfect al dente rivaling any of the fine Italian restaurants we've been to. We left full and with enough leftovers for a whole other meal. Our server Mason was always popping back with a big smile to top off our waters and make sure we had everything we needed. I couldn't be more surprised at a college town bar. The only cons I have are parking - parking in Easton is always tough and the pricing was on the higher end. The check and food said fine Italian dining, but the ambiance was still a bar. Pop in and feel the energy, devour the amazing food and experience what it is like to drink and dine with such amazing staff.
