This was one of the best meals I've ever had. My first tasting menu, it was very unique, in a good way. There wasn't anything we didn't like. I went with a friend that had a Gluten allergy, they came out with special plates, just for her to accommodate for the things she couldn't have. I typically don't like raw salmon but this was so fresh, I ate every bit of it. The service was exceptional. Drinks delicious. Food amazing. Call early to get a reservation. I can't wait to go back.

    Expensive night out for sure

I appreciate the communication from the GM about minor lactose intolerance. They were great to consider needs. The restaurant is beautiful and their hosts, servers, and runners are professional and knowledgeable. The food was very good. Nothing came out wrong or off but of course this menu is small and family style... so frankly it's not that hard. The 4 of us spent over $100/head with drinks and this is why the 3 stars: -they were fairly pushy about moving us on out after an hour and twenty minutes. At the price we paid i had hoped to feel wanted and not turned over like its a busy dive bar -at $100 a head I would hope for unique takes or over the top execution of original plates and frankly I didn't find that here. We've eaten all around Italy, Greece, Croatia, etc.... This food is very good but value is important and I just don't find good value here for a very good but straightforward prix-fixe menu. -required and pre-charged gratuity on a table of 4 takes away a star immediately. Perhaps I may have tipped even more than the 20% they charged but the fact it was forced with no prior warning was a sour taste at the end of a good meal. I won't return for that reason alone. -the portions were actually not that much! None of our party was actually full at the end. They bring out small portions of several dishes but all 4 of us were surprised as we expected to leave quite full based on other reviews. After all the reviews I've read and the LV Food FB group going bonkers over this place, perhaps I went with too high expectations... but in the end, for the price they ask for, to me, it's not worth the hype, I'm very sorry to say.

We dined at this beautiful establishment yesterday evening and was frankly blown away by such ample and delicious food, as well as excellent and attentive staff for the price! We are from the Washington DC area and a meal the same as this ($65/pp) would easily cost double the price! Everything from start to finish was delicious! What a gem!

Albanesi provided an unforgettable dinner experience for our birthday celebration. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. They accommodated all the food allergies in our group. We were seated at a perfect round table for a party of six. I highly recommend this restaurant!

First course. Yes, more dishes than your teenagers leave in the kitchen overnight. And hell of a lot better.

As close to perfection as the supreme being of your choice will allow. Beautifully crafted cocktails, insightfully curated wine list, amazingly nurtured food ("I don't eat that...except here!"), attentive and welcoming service, all in an artfully designed location reminiscent of NYC, London, Paris, Rome or Tirana. (Google it).

This restaurant knocks it out of the park every time! Has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. The manager Chris is very personable and tries to make sure you have the best experience possible! Highly recommend!!

    The Menu

My friend was visiting from New York and I wanted to bring her for something she had never tried. Normally I do a ton of research but I saw pictures of the food in a Facebook foodie group where everyone was raving about Albanesi so I didn't look at the menu or their website. I just made the reservation. Atmosphere: I walked in and was shocked at how beautiful the restaurant is! Every detail is warm, yet elegant. They also have a downstairs to the restaurant where you can eat or drink. It has totally different, but still nice, vibes. Service: EXCELLENT. Everyone from the gentleman that served water to the lady who took a knife to the tablecloth to clear crumbs between courses, to the waitress to the manager: They were all professional and warm. We had lots of questions and we never felt like they were annoyed. The manager came over two or three times to make sure everything was good. Food: The menu had 8 dishes in the first section, three dishes in the second section, 7 dishes in the third section, 2 dishes in the 4th section and 2 dishes in the fifth section (dessert). So get this! They brought out ALLLL eleven dishes from the first and second sections! Then we had a choice of either 3 entrees from the 3rd section or 1 from the 4th section. AND THEN they brought out both desserts in the 5th section!! When I first looked at the menu, I said to my friend, "there is literally nothing on this menu that I will eat except the chicken and hummus." I put on my adventurous girl pants and tried everything and it was almost all AMAZING. There were two misses. There were meat patties (I don't know what they are actually called) that were so salty that they were inedible. My friend ordered the roasted Brussel sprouts and she said they were so peppery she couldn't eat them. I didn't try it but my friend wasn't a huge fan of the fish dish either but she did eat the leftovers for lunch the next day so it must not have been that bad. Otherwise, it was GREAT. By the time dessert came, I forced myself to eat the delicious rice pudding but just couldn't eat the brownie, no matter how much I wanted to. My friend said "It's warm! You have to eat it now!" But there was just no more room. I ate it the next day and it was delicious! Eating there was a true EXPERIENCE. Price: Drinks were extra and I think they were about $15 each...I can't remember and I didn't order one. The meal was $65 plus tax and 20% gratuity that is automatically added on. The waitress handed us the bill and let us know that the gratuity was already added in but we could add on to it if we wanted to. The service was so good, I added another 5%. Parking: I was stressing about the parking situation. I heard it is difficult to find a spot in Easton. Our reservations were for 8pm on a Saturday night. We found meter parking (which doesn't turn off until 10pm, unfortunately) less than half a block away. We paid for 3 hours to be safe and walked to the restaurant. I told my parents about the place and next time they visit, they said I must take them there...and I will! Fantastic evening.

I have been to Albanesi a handful of times now and I finally got the chance to stop and take a second to write a review. With a monthly changing menu there is always something to look forward to here. Chris and the team have done wonders for service standards in the Lehigh Valley and to see the servers execute everything flawlessly and be as knowledgeable as they are is always a sight to behold. This is quite possibly one of the nicest restaurants in the valley which says a lot considering its small, but home-ie, vibe nonetheless. Perfect for date night or a business dinner but make sure you come hungry and prepared! I only got a chance to take a picture of the first course but that lets you know the food is out of this world.

Top notch food and service. Restaurant its self is beautiful- very warm and new. This is for sure a foodie destination! We will be back, like soon! Only thing you get all of the top 2 sections and select either the left side on the bottom with 3 choices or the right. Little confusing online but server explains it well

Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.

In truth, was always a kind of creepy, dark, wonder- what- this- is -kind -of -establishment - with only a single employee and a very high turnover. This past weekend, after calling repeatedly - (4 times) to ask if they were still open (its the kind of place you imagine will be shut down at any time) and no one answering, I made the mistake of taking a chance and walking over there. At the counter, with no one there, I dialed the phone # again - curious. The only employee, finally came over and I asked if they were still open. She clicked her nails on the counter and gave me "a look". I explained, that I had called repeatedly and no one answered - wondering if store was open. She only glared at me and then, refused to serve me, calling me rude. I have never had anyone call me rude, ever. I am a working class person, always respectful of others, regardless of race, gender, etc. When I asked if she could please, accept my apology and allow me to purchase this bottle of wine, as it was for a friend's birthday at my apartment (friends were actually waiting for me} she became even more absurd and nasty. Cleary not a stable person - my main point here. Please avoid. Worst shopping experience I have ever had!

The aged steaks are well prepared, and the 500-degree plate presentation does what it is designed to do. The sizzling plate may impress first-timers, but it is straight from the national chain playbook and no longer feels special. It preserves heat, not originality. Sides are à la carte and priced aggressively for what are essentially standard steakhouse accompaniments. They are fine. They are not memorable. At this price point, diners reasonably expect at least one dish that shows some imagination. The wine list is the biggest disappointment. It reads like a Pennsylvania "Chairman's Selection" circular rather than a curated cellar. Safe, widely available bottles dominate, with little depth or personality. For a restaurant positioning itself as an upscale destination, that lack of curation is hard to ignore. Service was professional and the dining room attractive. If you want a reliable local steakhouse and do not mind paying for it, Three Oaks will meet expectations. If you are looking for distinction or a reason to return beyond convenience, you may find it difficult to justify the bill.
