This review will be all over the place good and bad. 4/25/2023 when we came in the place was about 1/3 full. We waited for awhile (girl behind the bar mouthed "sorry"). Finally a man approached us (bald headed probably in his 30's). Literally while were taking off her jackets he say what do you want to drink??? I said I had no idea what they had and might like to see a menu.... Sounds bad but seemed like he had just blown a line of something. He was antsy, talking fast and kept sniffing lol. As time wore on he seemed to settle down and talk at a normal speed. Appetizer-Dolce Momma Meatballs (The Marinara sauce seemed fresh, homemade and delicious. The meatballs themselves were plain, overcooked and boring.) Side salad-very small but typical in all aspects. Dinner-Large Veggie Pizza. Crust outstanding, Pizza great flavor only negative was it was a little to wet from the veggies, if they can figure it out it will be award winning. Atmosphere-Clean, neat and crazy Loud!!!!!

The food has gone down hill. The service is ok and other than Pizza, you may want to choose another location for dinner.

We did not like this place at all on our first visit. We all ordered creamy things and disliked them. It's so close to our new home that we decided to give it a second chance. Glad we did. There are definitely items on the menu that I don't personally enjoy, but there are plenty of others that I do. This is a good restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a bit of a tv sports bar aspect to it, but not overwhelmingly so, if that's not your thing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sometimes we eat in, there. We often get takeout and go pick up our food.

Chicken Marsala- with chef's choice of starch (a couple slices of potatoes & boiled broccoli)

Food is decent, nothing special. Pizza is much better than the rest of the food. Tomato sauce is sugary.

Very yummy. Used for catering for summer party and there wasn't one bite left. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini and chicken piccata.

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

I'd heard mixed reviews going in, but aside from the parking, there wasn't a single thing to complain about. I kicked things off with crispy chicken dumplings, perfectly fried and served with a sweet-and-salty soy yuzu sauce, along with rich, pillowy pumpkin gnocchi. For my entree, I went with the pasta of the day, fettuccine in a garlic-horseradish cream sauce with mushrooms, Swiss chard, and tender beef tips. My friend went with the savory short ribs, served alongside a golden Irish cheddar potato cake, roasted root vegetables, and crispy shallots. We wrapped things up with the salted caramel apple cheesecake and tiramisu for a sweet finish. Our server was attentive throughout our meal, and the hosts sent us off with a friendly farewell.

Dining at Swift was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, but what impressed us even more was the entire experience. We spent the day exploring Historic Bethlehem, enjoying the charming shops and restaurants, then returned to what felt like a peaceful retreat. I mentioned this and was told that's because many of the same craftsmen worked on this place too. Made me feel smart! If you go. Do yourself a favor and walk around a bit. The food was very tasty I think it is the only restaurant I've been in locally that didn't use excessive amounts of salt. A big plus. The mixed drinks were interesting and reasonably strong. I usually quaff mine down fairly rapidly, savoring the buzz during dinner and still safely driving home after. I had potato soup, which was very good, and Ming had Beet Carpaccio, which was thinly sliced seared root veggies with seasoning. I only had a bite because she wanted it all! Then came dinner. I had the ribeye, which was done so that it was seared one the outside to keep the flavor in and red (while being cooked thru, not an easy feat) and it's was flavored but not overly salty, were unusual. I ordered my usual Worcestershire sauce to clean off the extra salt, but hardly used any. Ming had the crab cake, which was the only negative of the meal. While not overtired or salty, there was a bit of a fishy smell. Not terrible, but off putting. Luckily for me, I don't like crab anyway so I didn't have any. The desserts were good, with a tasty chocolate cake and a peach cobbler that was good but could have had a bit of peach goo to moisten it a bit. The prices were very competitive considering the venue AND the quality of the food. The bar was hopping too because it looked like a great place to hang out with friends!
