CUTEST COFFEE SHOP NEAR SDSU was so curious about their date latte/bread that i tried both and they were so yummy! They make all their pastries in house we tried the banana, pastry, and date bread. We ordered the matchas and different kinds of lattes as well! Plenty of parking and super cute cafe spot to study at after work or class, the staff was lovely, I will be back :)

My daughter and I want to try new cafe so we went to Barakah. The place is cute and clean. They have one person working and she's wonderful. She's so friendly and fast. They have good amount of customer enjoying some drinks and treat. The potato samosa is soooooo good! I bought 1 and had to come back to buy the last 2. Sorry for the customer that comes in after.. but it was so good! The sauce is a bit spicy but pair perfectly with the samosa. My matcha is delicious my daughter got the matcha breeze and that's so delicious. I want to try the pistachio cake but was full from the samosa, lol . But will definitely come back to try the cake and more drinks.

I had driven by this spot a few times and noticed the new coffee shop had opened, so I decided to stop in and give it a try. It's located in a shopping plaza that's not the most attractive area, right next to Planet Fitness, Wei Wei, and a few other businesses. On the plus side, there is plenty of parking available. I visited on a weekday morning hoping to get some work done. My first impression was positive--the space felt bright, clean, and welcoming. There are three large tables inside that would be great for working, but they were all occupied when I arrived. Fortunately, there was still seating available along the bar counter. The atmosphere was very quiet. There was a large flat-screen TV in the corner, which felt a little unusual for a coffee shop, but it was playing soccer with the volume barely audible. There wasn't any background music, so it ended up being a nice, peaceful place to work. The barista greeted me as soon as I walked up to the counter, and I ordered their date latte made with house-made date syrup. The coffee itself was decent. I enjoyed the flavor of the date syrup--it added a subtle sweetness without being overpowering. My only complaint was the foam texture. It was quite airy and bubbly rather than smooth and creamy, which wasn't my favorite. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd be open to stopping by again if I'm in the area, especially to try one of their cold coffee drinks. That said, I did find the prices a bit on the high side considering the location.

Yelp brought me to this cute and cozy and super clean coffee shop when I was on my way to interpret around the area. I love how they put so much effort in having fresh flowers at every table, so much appreciated. Also the walls with that nice 'morocan tiles' pattern is so lovely. Ample space and with a big TV to follow sports if you want to. Capuccino was perfect and I didn't try pastries this time but everything looked fresh and delicious.

Drove by this new neighborhood coffee shop yesterday and decided to stop by today to check it out. So glad we did! Drinks were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Spanish Latte and the Strawberry Matcha Latte and both were fabulous. Just the right level of sweetness. The shop itself is very cute and welcoming. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommend you stop by and support a local business.

A new independently owned coffee shop has opened in the Rolando Plaza off University Ave. Barakah Coffee House has set up a quaint space with large comfy lounge chairs as well as tables for hanging out to do work. The plaza lot had plenty open parking spaces so that wasn't a concern. The service counter and menu screen were located in the back right corner of the suite. Coffee, tea, lattes, refreshers, and specials made up the drink categories. Baked goods and sambusas were the available food choices. I had some time to kill so I picked a Mango Lemonade Refresher and two Sambusas, beef and chicken. The drink was 16 oz with light ice and had a mild mango flavor. The two pastries were triangular shaped and filled with the respective minced meat. The sambusas weren't as large as you would find at an Indian cuisine restaurant, however they were also not as pricey. The ambiance and layout were much more aligned with what I like to see at a coffee house. Many of the shops nowadays have a cold, industrial feel to them with minimal decor. That wasn't the case with Barakah Coffee House which was why I awarded a four star rating for my recent visit.

    Cookie butter latte

What do you say? You have something cookie butter? YES PLEASE. Sign me up. If you didn't guess it, I got the cookie butter/ biscoff iced latte/ coffee. At first sip, I couldn't tell it was biscoff. Not the second or third sip. I'm just very let down when I can't make out what I'm drinking. This was very milky, not enough coffee taste. The cup shape is cute but horrible for transport. I would give a second try if In the area, conveniently located in the same center as Dollar store and Wei Wei.

    Delicious!!! Biscoff Iced Latte

It was my first time visiting this coffee shop. It's located in a shopping center, so parking was very easy with plenty of spaces available. The shop itself is on the smaller side, but it's very nicely decorated. The color scheme is really pretty, the music was calm and relaxing, and everything was very clean, which I always appreciate. As for customer service, it wasn't the best experience. The girl who helped me wasn't very friendly and came across a little rude. Since it was my first time there, I was asking for recommendations and opinions, but she wasn't very helpful or kind about it. Other than that, the coffee itself was amazing definitely a 10/10. I ordered a Biscoff iced latte, and it was really delicious. Would I make the drive just to go there again? Probably not, but if I'm ever in the area, I'd consider stopping by and giving it another try.

This place is so pretty! The wall decor, the seating, and even the double doors to the restrooms - all the decor and layout is so well thought out. The staff were super nice and welcoming. We ordered the biscoff latte, pistachio cake, and some sambusas - everything was super good and I can't wait to come back again!

Such a cute coffee shops, great for working from home. There is a good amount of seating and outlets. I got a regular latte and a potato sambusa, soooo good. The green sauce for the sambusa is spicy so if you don't like spice/can't handle spice be careful. The staff was super sweet and helped decide on what to get. The staff was very generous and so outgoing! Would definitely come back
