Just happened to be driving by on the way to yhe goodwill when I noticed Mazzy's. I am always on the look out for a good place to get my eyebrows done, especially if they do threading . When I walked in off the street there were no apts. Available just then so I told them I'd call or come back later. I showed up unannounced a second time and was almost turned away, but lucked out because the mom was there getting her hair done and said she would fit me in..Yes!! Sorry I did not catch her name but she did a wonderful, thorough job threading my brows and upper lip. Very gentle. This is her daughters business. Just 4 months old. I also enjoy their beautiful jewelry selection. Nana is a fantastic and experienced stylist. I seriously live for this place ! My eyebrows are one of the most important things too me and they take care of them so well! They are very gentle while threading and make you feel comfortable enough to let them know if you need too take a little break if the pain is too much. I started going here almost a year and a half ago. My skin reacts to a lot of waxes & by the time my skin clears up.. it's time to go get them done again. So I decided to try threading out. I don't break out what-so-ever, they are always nicely shaped, & they last longer than waxing. The girls here are super sweet, their shop is always clean and neat. I decided to stop by today on my break, I work across the street so it was convenient. I have never had my eyebrows threaded before and the woman there helped me immediately. The shop is clean, and the decor is beautiful. She was quick, and very professional and the pain was very minimal and I had absolutely no redness afterwards at all. I love this place. It's clean and everyone is very nice. I'm kinda whiny [understatement] when it comes to threading, but Sam always gives me a break and offers chocolate or water - which generally does help! :) I can always find parking, get an appointment (although they can get booked, so call first) and expect a warm greeting!
