I think it was sitting around. Lack of waitstaff? The waiter offered to take it back, but I didn't want it to be overcooked, or to wait for a new piece of tuna, so I turned down the offer. The bread was good, but not as good as it used to be. I think they used to warm it. The waiter was very nice, but he was pushing more food and more wine on us, which I don't like. I asked for a taste of the wine I was considering ordering. It was literally a small sip. I ordered it before we ordered, but it didn't come with my tuna. I had to ask again, and then it arrived after the already cooling tuna was ever cooler. Two nice touches were the complimentary ceviche with mahi mahi (only so-so) and the complimentary macarons (good). Great sunset, but not great food, at pretty steep prices. But there aren't many choices for dinner. Several restaurants are only open for lunch. Only La Cantina can be labeled as "not expensive." The description was Shells stuffed with shrimp, octopus, and scallops, with pieces of mushrooms, bacon, spinach, béchamel sauce, and parsley, then baked au gratin (melted browned cheese on top). For dessert we shared a mango ice cream. If you ave not been here, you MUST go.
