Katie was so wonderful to work with throughout the process of prepping for our wedding and did an incredible job with our florals! She was so flexible with my changing requests on our contract and created arrangements that so beautifully complimented the colors I wanted to highlight in our Indian fusion wedding. I felt that her pricing was reasonable for her work and she was really catering to us as the client. She arranged for us to come out and see her warehouse despite being in the process of moving everything to a new location. She is passionate about what she does which is obvious when you talk to her, so laid-back and fun to talk with as well, more than I could have asked for in a florist. I absolutely think Katie and her team does an amazing job for weddings and she is definitely charging a low price for all the work she did. My wedding day was absolutely perfect. Being an Indian wedding she understood the culture and exactly what all decor we needed to make it culturally fit and yet modernized the way I wanted it. She helped me reuse decor to save money as well. When I quoted other places she quoted about 1/3 of the price. Her and her husband actually hand made the mandap with real aspen tree woods and branches which was absolutely stunning. I can't say enough wonderful things about Amy and Merveille Flowers and Events . . . and neither can all of the guests who attended our wedding and reception. I'm very much into gardening and flowers, and Amy provided some of the most unique and amazing blooms and decor I have ever seen. It was so effortless working with her. I'm a very visual person, and I'm not the best at describing what it is that I envision. I cut pictures out of bridal magazines and Southern Living magazines, and made little notes about what I liked in each pictures. Amy took this input and decorated our ceremony site, cocktail hour location, and reception ballroom so beautifully. It was so much more amazing than I ever could have imagined. I've been to some amazing weddings, but her arrangements and the decorations were truly unique and far outshined anything else I've ever seen. The best part was that it was exactly what I wanted. The simple arrangements at the ceremony site were elegant and added just the right touch. While the brightly colored tropical arrangements at the reception added the punch of color and vibrancy to that festive setting. Merveille made my wedding day! With all of the little things that I had to worry about on my wedding day since I didn't have a wedding planner, I didn't have to think twice about flowers. Amy and her team made everything look beautiful right away. I had to stick to a tight budget, but they worked with me to make the most beautiful arrangements with all of the flowers that I had asked for! Almost everyone that was at my wedding commented to me that they had never seen such beautiful arrangements. Merveille made the boutonierres, bridesmaids' bouquets, and corsages for my son's wedding in April. The boutonierres and corsages included a small succulent and some lavender which was so pretty. They were very helpful and I was able to work out everything over the phone and by email which helped me a lot. They are very quick to respond to questions which is important to me. The brides' bouquet was made by her grandmother and I was impressed how Merveille was able to coordinate their bouquets and so on with hers without seeing it. Intuition maybe?
