    Tenderloin biscuit with egg
    Tracy W.

You haven't lived until you have tackled a BARBECUE Shack tenderloin biscuit. The most tender, huge slice of breakfast meat that just melts in your mouth. I always cut it in two for the next day - weekend made! Biscuits are always perfect and not crumbly.... The only downside is the fight to get in the parking lot. But wait your turn because it is more than worth it.

Fries and hush puppies were ok.

Disappointed that we paid almost 34 dollars for food we couldn't eat. Seriously the vinegar based sauce was so strong it would take your breath away. Few fries and pups for 34 dollars. Got a BLT and bacon was so hard it would crack teeth. I'm not doing this again. They are dip happy here and I'm not happy with their dipping dip on my food. I live here in town but will drive to Lexington for bbq. My stomach was bubbly after trying to eat what I could and had gas something awful from that wet meat. My husband told me to go change pants because I clearly sharted mine. Terrible terrible experience! If you wanna stay shartless at least don't get the gassy bbq plate. Maybe just go somewhere else altogether because the tea tasted like cigarettes as well.

    Small entrance and lot.

This place has one of the best tenderloin and cheese biscuit in the area. I stop there often.

Pretty ok BBQ. Sauce is kinda runny and vinegary though. Right across the street from the donut place so that's neat.

Today I tried something new at Why Not: breakfast! We came early right at opening time to see what…read morethey had to offer. Most of the time, we order online and use the drive up window to pick up meals, so this is the first time in a while we've been inside. At first I was disappointed to see QR Codes on the table for menus but we were promptly brought real menus (which I prefer). I was surprised to see it seems the menu has expanded quite a bit, not only with breakfast but also things like burgers and pasta dishes. We had the rotisserie chicken omelette and a breakfast burrito. Sides were hash browns and the home fries. The omelette and burrito were both reasonably good, not the best I've had but certainly still good. The potato sides were both great. Food came fast and hot, and service was attentive. I still prefer Why Not for dinners over breakfast and this won't become by new go-to in the morning, but it's a good option and I'm glad to see them expanding the business.

First time trying this place as I honestly didn't know it existed despite being so close to me!…read moreThankful my sister found it though! We went about 1:30 so it wasn't very busy. We were greeted with smiling staff who asked if it were our first time here. (Guess us looking around in wonder while I snapped photos was a dead giveaway ) They offered samples of the broccoli cheddar casserole. Delicious! My sister got some with her meal. I had the Why Not Chicken wrap which has fried chicken, bacon, cheddar, and some other not-as-important stuff that all tasted scrumptious together! They made this fresh so it took a few minutes (info for those that may be in a rush) but hot and freshly made was fantastic! They have steak fries which were cooked just right. Despite the friendly young man telling me they had the "good good" ranch, they in fact do not. (If you know, you know!) But the ranch was good (enough) regardless. The restaurant is very clean, has a nice open feel to the layout and also has a small space to the side if more private dining is needed. The staff were all great! Super friendly and helpful. The owner (what I assume is the owner) has a great personality and sense of humor. My sister and I definitely enjoyed our lunch. We told them we'll be back!

Some of the meat was dry like it had been sitting around. It had no flavor. The frozen crinkle fries were just ok as well as the Cole Slaw. Best part of the meal was the hush-puppies. Terry's is what I would lovingly refer to as a hole-in-the-wall off the beaten path. What the place lacks in decor it makes up for in very friendly service (aka Southern Hospitality) and good food. The seating area is made up of simple diner style table and chairs. We definitely stood out as first timers as other tables were obviously filled with regulars that the waitstaff knew by first name. They even knew what some of them wanted before they sat down. My kind of place! My wife got the chopped BBQ sandwich, and I got the chopped BBQ tray. Both were delicious and their hushpuppies were as close to perfect as you could get. The waitstaff was excellent throughout and our cups of sweet tea never went empty. Plenty of parking and they accept credit cards.

I went to Nonna Rosa's at Stock and Grain last night for a pizza making event and it was amazing!…read moreThe chef's were super experienced, friendly and helpful and gave us a great demonstration of how pizza is made and let us make our own pizzas as well. We got to roll out the dough and then add our own personalized toppings! The other restaurants here are great as well. I got to sample the smoked mac and cheese from B3 Smokehouse and it was super flavorful and smoky. Some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Although sitting anywhere in the food hall is great it's a particularly great place to go if you're seeing an event at Truist point stadium. Their outdoor patio looks out over the stadium and the field so you'll have a perfect view of whatever event you're watching.

There's a nice selection of a variety of food vendors, nothing is duplicated and it's all super unique to the others. We sampled four of the vendors and all of the food was amazing! There was nothing going on at the park so it was relatively slow for business which we thought would make our visit easy without a lot of waiting in line (which there were none) or waiting for our food. The reason for the 4 stars is the wait time and friendliness of the vendors. They all looked very tired and dare I say grumpy?! No greetings, no smiles, no interaction other than taking the order and pointing to the pay scan. The orders took absolutely forever! One sushi roll took about 15 minutes and the birria bites took about 25 minutes! Crazy wait times for such a small crowd. We will definitely return for B3 Smokehouse and probably some sushi, they were both phenomenal, just wish the vibe was a little more friendly and fun.

The place is set by the big chair and railroad tracks. It looks inside like it could have been part of the train depot back in the day. The inside is train themed and they have some awesome lights. For apps we tried the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and the pork spring rolls. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly breaded and the pimento cheese had a nice kick to it. The pork spring rolls came out piping hot and were crunchy and flavorful! I got the meatloaf with ketchup, cheese grits and green beans. They give you a slab of meatloaf here! The recipe is perfectly seasoned and comes topped with onion straws. The green beans are cooked with bacon and onion and are full of flavor. The cheese grits were the cherry on top - they were creamy, they were cheesy, and they almost melted in your mouth. I brought my husband home a NY strip, onion rings and mac and cheese. The steak was cooked and seasoned well - he's an A1 guy and didn't put any on his steak. The onion rings were still crispy when I got home and seasoned well. He liked the mac and cheese best of all. It was super cheesy and salt and peppered to his liking. I cannot wait to come back and try out more of the menu - and get more cheese grits!
