We attended an event in the Congdon Yards building and decided to get something to eat in the nearby Stock and Grain food hall. We arrived about 4pm in the afternoon and my wife and I decided to order food from different locations and she chose B3. There was a small line of people waiting to order so my wife looked over the menu. She decided to order the brisket salad with no cheese and no barbecue sauce, which meant it only had pickled onion, ranch and the brisket. She also ordered a biscuit with both the local honey and jelly. She said the young man and woman working the counter were both friendly and efficient. We had a seat and her order was ready in a timely manner. She ate the salad first and while it was okay it wasn't anything special. She would gladly pay more for a brisket salad that included additional toppings to choose from. Having a brisket salad that only contains pickled onions, cheese, barbecue sauce, cheese and ranch dressing seems really boring. The biscuit was the star of the show - she absolutely loved everything about it and the jelly and honey were delicious. We will come by again and look forward to trying other items on the menu. We hope the owner/managers consider having additional options for salad ordering customers.

Service with a smile at this location! The brisket is so so so good so I thought I'd try the turkey breast this time and it is amazing also. I love they have sweet potato fries and will give you all the sauces to try! Honey mustard is great with the fries and you can even choose cinnamon, sugar or salt. You have to check it out.

This was a great visit. I went to get the wings but they were sold out and I had to went early!!! I was upset even the Mac n cheese was gone. However we tried the brisket and turkey which was okay. I would definitely order the turkey again. I also had the fried pickles those were good. I love how we can view the baseball players from where we were sitting. The service was amazing though. The team was very nice.

Very tasty and clearly popular with the locals. The food was great and something we'll be happy to come back to or bring a friend to try next time. Service was quick and pleasant, no complaints there. Clearly a popular place based on the line, but it was handled pretty quickly so don't let a little bit of a line put you off trying it.

Tommy prepared the perfect loaded baked potatos with pulled pork and brisket for us. We had a wonderful chat with him and got to taste a Cheerwine to celebrate our North Carolina road trip.

Meh... The brisket was dry and 1/3 of the three slices were fat. It arrived with one of the commercial slider-sized dinner rolls. The sauce was supposed to be "mustard" based but it was a very small cup of reddish brown sauce with a high corn syrup content. The mac&cheese was good, so I give them credit there. Otherwise, my $18 lunch was disappointing

Had heard good things about the brisket. Not my experience. Ordered 1 pound, about $30+. 1/2 of it was fat. 1/2... so I spent $15 on inedible fat. Gross... asked for sliced thin. Was not sliced thin. Fries were good and service was fine but the big $ item was 1/2 waste... Will not go back.

BEST brisket I've had in NC! Will be my new go-to. We shared the 1lb brisket and fried pickles and sweet potato fries. Pickles were crispy and delicious. Brisket was full of flavor and SO tender, did not even need a knife. Service was INCREDIBLE, Tommy was very knowledgeable and made our first experience fantastic! Great location with other options as well.

The world needs more smoked Mac and cheese. These guys should be the ones to deliver it. This was my favorite food in the impressive little food hall. The gentlemen that took my order was nice, funny, and knowledgeable. Great conversation! The smoked mac and cheese was so good and the wings were also excellent.

We stopped by Biscuits Brisket and Beer on a recent trip to Stock and Grain Food Hall and we are glad we did! Super nice folks serving up some damn good food. We ordered the Sliders and some fried pickles to have a taste of what they had to offer and these sliders stole the show!! Perfectly juicy and tender meat topped with pickled onions and some sweet bbq sauce and boy a boy was I in heaven! I will 10000% be back for these. We also got some fried pickles, which were were pretty good. We were slightly disappointed that they were out of Mac and cheese but we will just have to come back a little earlier next time!! All of the bbq sauces to top the meats were top notch, a little bit of something for everyone. Our friends got the smoked turkey breast and fries and said it was really good as well so we will be giving that a try on our next visit too! Can't wait to come back for more!!

My wife and I learned about this place when we were at Nomad Wine Works (see our Yelp reviews and GO THERE!). Let me preface the rest of this review by saying that I am from Texas, and I am very proud of my smoked brisket. I take this seriously and will spend 15 hours on a brisket. That said, I asked Chris (he and his wife are the founders and owners) a lot of questions about how he cooks his brisket. Every answer was just what I wanted to hear and I learned a few things that I'm going to change in my own smoking techniques. Flash forward a few minutes and we have in front of us three items: brisket, sausage, and turkey breast. There was also a beer, but that was in my hand, not in front of me, so more about that later. Brisket - Smoked with nothing but salt and pepper (I won't mention the other techniques Chris told me), this is the ONLY brisket I have said was better than mine. We stopped eating Carolina BBQ about a year after we moved here (2013) from Texas. This is the first we tried in a lot of years and I know why this place is right by the baseball field - Chris knocked it out of the park! No sauce is needed, it will just cover the flavor. Sausage - This is a really unique item. Their sausage is 100% pork-free. Even the casing has no pork. It is firmer than some cheap sausage you might be used to, but the quality and flavor is top-notch bar none. And if you cannot eat pork, and don't want turkey sausage ( ) you're golden! Turkey Breast - OK, ok, ok... I know what you're thinking. Smoked turkey breast!?!? Are you kidding? Well, no matter how well Chris tried to "sell me" on it, I thought just like you. No way. Turkey Breast = Dry White Meat. First, when my wife and I saw it, we thought "Well that sure LOOKS tender and juicy." Then when we tried it... OMG! I couldn't stop eating it! I know you're reading thinking I'm crazy. I get it. But go try it and then comment on how right I was! Sauces - This place focuses on three kinds of quality smoked meats, which is why they are so good at it. They do the same with their sauce. There are only three, one for each person. There's a "normal", mustard, and a spicy. Those are my non-technical explanations. All of them are good except the spicy one for me. I cannot handle spiciness. But my wife loved it, so there you go. The Beer - Remember the beer I mentioned? If not, go back and don't skip :) It was a Cheerwine beer! Yes, really! It was actually pretty good, I would get it again. Never heard of it until I saw it here. As Gomer Pyle would say "Surprise surprise surprise." The seating is a small food court area that's bright and clean. Probably because, well, it's a food court. While you're there, grab some mini donuts from Pop's Mini Donuts which is right beside Biscuits, Brisket, and Beer.

Top notch smoked meats served by some of the best people around! That would be my quick summary of what makes Triple B great, but that understates all the other layers that lead up to what is easily the best brisket and smoked turkey in High Point (and maybe some of the best biscuits). I met Chris, the owner, in his days running pop-ups at least a year before his stand within Stock + Grain was ready. I was super impressed by his knowledge, and absolutely blown away by the meat. His selection has evolved since then, and you gotta love it. Bot only is the brisket amazing, but the smoked turkey is easily the best I have ever had. His wings, smoked and then lightly fried to give a crisp, also easily the best in High Point. On my most recent trip, I wanted a healthier light lunch. He has started doing salads, and some of his smoke turkey on a simple salad with some cheese and ranch is spot on for flavor. You won't be disappointed with a sad salad, because his salad isn't sad! For sides, the mac and cheese is hearty and cheesy, the cole slaw is creamy but not overly so, which is how I like it. Crisp and not swimming in mayo. The biscuits... man. I love them. The best biscuit in High Point is from the Biscuit Factory, which will be very hard to dethrone, but these are nice and buttery. Very close! All in all, if you are in Stock and Grain, or looking for excellent brisket, turkey, wings, and sausage. You need to go here! Also, for those wondering, they do not serve any pork in order to keep their restaurant Halal friendly!

I stopped by here and ordered around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon. This is located in a. Food hall with other places. It was a little busy and there was a short line. I got the lunch special of 1/4 biscuit and fries. I also got a biscuit as well. I got sweet bbq sauce for the brisket and butter on my biscuit. They have garlic pepper sauce and mustard bbq sauce available as well. Biscuit toppings include SAWMILL GRAVY, LOCAL HONEY, BUTTER, HOMEMADE PIMENTO CHEESE, LOCAL JELLY, CHEDDAR CHEESE, MOLASSES, and FRIED GREEN TOMATO. I received my food about 3 minutes after ordering. I got my order to go. My fries were hot and fresh. I ate some as I went back to my office to eat. The brisket was delicious! So tender and perfectly cooked. I used the biscuit to make a sandwich with the brisket. I definitely plan to return. I saw they have smoked wings and Im interested in trying. The staff were friendly!

It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.

Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu.
