I moved out of the valley after HS and have been getting my hair cut at the same place in LA for 3+ years. BUT, I had a wedding in the valley and had my hair cut in LA the night before. There was a little area that wasn't quite right and so the morning of the wedding I called them and they squeezed me in. They were SLAMMED at 9am! Three barbers working and people waiting -- incredible. And I totally see why. These guys are the real deal. They cleaned up the messed up area (I have a cowlick in the back so it always is an issue) but then also took the fresh straight razor and cleaned up my part, beard line and around the ears. Best part, it was cheap as heck. I tipped the same as the cost of the cut because they got me in quickly and did an amazing job. I am a big believer on tipping on service/quality! I forget the guy who cut my hair but given it is the valley of course we had mutual people we knew and I think played football and my brother in law's bro was the coach as the HS at the time maybe? I was eating at Jonsey's Fried Chicken across the parking lot and noticed this shop. I looked it up on yelp and saw the numerous positive reviews and accompanying photos and figured I'd give it a shot. I called the number and made an appointment for noon the follow day which was easy. I walked in and promptly sat down and gave him the style I wanted and he went to work. The shop was empty (that's the perk of getting your cut the day AFTER a holiday weekend) so he was able to take a little extra time and 40 minutes later, I came out looking great and feeling even better with my hair finally cut and beard trimmed. Cost was $45 and I added a tip on top of that. I paid cash, but he said he took credit card and Venmo as well.
