Me? I was looking for a beard trim in a hurry. I usually go to The Gents Place and pay $25 but I didn't have time to deal with an appointment so I checked Yelp, found Hands of Glory, and decided to give it a spin. It's not your typical barbershop/salon. It's laid out more like an office, with a window up front, then a bunch of separate little rooms that have been converted into different spaces. Jeremiah found me when I walked in, asked what I was looking for, and said he could take care of my beard trim. We chatted for a few minutes about what I wanted and he was great about giving me some different options. Needless to say, this turned out really well. I was extremely satisfied with the shaping he did and found it to be on par with - if not better than - far more expensive trims at some of the more upscale places. If I were going to give a 5 star rating it is honestly because of her specifically. Laverne has progressively made my hair grow and we measure it each time. I believe everyone with long hair has a slow/stunned growth phase where you must really be attentive or it wont grow. In my stunned growth phase Laverne continued to provide the best care for my hair and I am always asked "who does your hair". I managed to get 4 walk-in services bc they designate 1 barber for weekends (maybe weekdays too, idk) on a rotating schedule to take walk-in customers whilst the rest of the barbers are booked solid.
