Had my first experience here today. Honestly the worst haircut I've ever had. Guy sat me down in…read morethe chair and asked what I wanted, I told him u wanted to have a mohawk but I wanted to have it incorporated into my already short curled hair. I've been growing my hair since New year's and used a hair sponge to create a look I really loved. My hair doesn't grow very fast at all so I was very happy with the length, but didn't mind going down a little bit for the new shape. The man who cut my hair DID NOT comb my hair out before running the clippers across my head, it hurt but he continued anyway. I saw clumps of my hair fall and I knew at that point i had made a HUGE mistake. When I went in that shop I had about 3-4 inches of hair. Now I have less than an inch on top, my face is crap, and if I hadn't told him to fix it, I would have a weird lump of hair going down the center of my head in a sad attempt at a mohawk. NEVER COMING BACK HERE.

However, they have made great changes and arrangements at Blue Spark to deal with COVID. - Appointments are now 1 hour, which allows them ample time to do clean up. I chatted for a while after my cut and they were VERY thorough with clean-up. Absolutely everything was sprayed down, even clippers that I don't think he used. - Seats are spaced 3 apart, so basically they are using Steve's seat and Bill's seat, at least when I was there. - While I was there, I was the only customer in the place. I think if they both had appointments it would have just been 2 customers. There is a rule of only 1 client per barber at a time in the shop, so I waited outside until he came out. The next guy came in right at 4. - Everyone wore masks the whole time. When he needed to do my sideburns he just asked me to take it off my ear and hold it on my cheek. No problem, just took a minute. While I miss the great banter Blue Spark is known for, that will be back one day. We just need to abide for a while and support them so that they are still around when COVID is over.

I'm satisfied and pleased with the service received. They only accept cash, so come prepared. It's a small shop, but all types of people, including females were at this facility to get there hair cut. I'd recommend this place and would personally come back.
