Unfortunately I can only give this place one star. My son usually goes to V's for his cut but he wanted to give Jacks a shot. Took him there this morning around 9:30 am but the sign said they open at 10. Left for a bit and came back around 10:20 and doors were locked lights were still out. If you say you open 10 on a Saturday open at 10. We headed over to V's and he got a great cut....since our time was wasted by going to Jacks won't be giving a try next time. read more

Hands down best haircut I've had since I moved here and I tried a few different places before. Great cut but charged me an extra random $15 because they lined up my beard. I'd gladly pay that if I had asked for a beard trim. I went in for a haircut and I just figured he was being nice when trimming up my neck and what not. Went in for a $30 cut came out $45+. In bad need of a haircut. Not from Phoenix. Strolled into Jack's and met Chris. By the way I was with my wife! My wife really liked Chris's haircut - tight on the sides and little on top to comb up. Whatever you do, do not let Frankie cut your hair. He was constantly texting on his phone while I just sat in the chair, unnecessarily sharing his legal drama with profane language with children around, and was very sloppy and unclean by refusing to wear a mask to protect me, and he even made fun of me in a very threatening way for wearing a mask which I was wearing to protect him (meanwhile I overheard other barbers ask their customers if they preferred they wear a mask). He rushed the haircut so he could leave for the day even though it was well before closing time, and the end result was very poor and unfinished. I really like the atmosphere at this shop. It's a little classic barbershop with a modern twist to it. They have comfortable waiting chairs as well as a couch and dinks while you wait and of course TVs. Chris did a great job on my teenage sons hair last week so I decided to give it a go as well.
