    Steak and chimmichurri tacos. Amazing
    Nicholas L.

I wanted to give this a 4 star rating so badly but I just can't. I had a hibiscus margarita with a tajin rim and it start off the evening right! Soooo good! My server GG (gee gee?) was amazing. Great recommendations. Has steak tacos and the firecracker shrimp tacos. Both were good. Steak was very well done with the chimmicurri but the fire cracker shrimp out shined the steak. With lime I loved the steak, but the perfect kick of the shrimp was inspiring with the margarita pairing. We sat in the water on a beautiful night. Parking could be an issue, as with anything in the area so plan ahead. Would recommend.

I fell in love with this Mexican spot. We decided to eat outside and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It's right across from the Sagamore Pendry in Fells Point. The shrimp tacos were the best thing on menu. I also tried the Oaxaca Guacamole and I wasn't crazy about it. The traditional guacamole tasted way better. I would definitely come back.

Booked a resy on open table for Mother's Day brunch. We got a beautiful outdoor table by the water. The bottomless mimosas were watered down severely but our server Kelsey made sure we were taken care of regardless. All the food ordered was delicious and even with the holiday, food arrived promptly and still to temperature (main comment was all items could have been bettered seasoned). I've visited before and will be back again!

Can never go wrong with the chips and guac - def good for some yapping. The peach palmer was so good! I highly recommend for a nice refreshing cocktail. I got the rockfish (phone did not eat lol) and it had a kick to it but super good. My friend liked the green goddess salad as well

Excellent. The service was great. The ambiance sitting outside in sight of the Pride of Baltimore ship was great. My son really enjoyed his steak tacos and I loved the cauliflower tacos. The guacamole and chips were excellent. I think it was the Barcocina guac.

I love Barcocina. I've lived in Baltimore for 4 years and it's still one of my favorite places to go. Their brunch is great, their tacos are yummy and they have so much variety in terms of meat/veg and flavor profile. The first taco I ever tried was the Bang Bang cauliflower taco and I'm pretty sure I ordered it every single time I went there for a year. I also love steak taco, and at one point there was a taco take had Korean inspired flavors that was super yummy but it's no longer on the menu. For drinks I love the Julio smash and the red sangria. I also love that they always have bottomless mimosas. There's always ample seating inside and outside. However, if you're sitting on the outside that's closest to the harbor, you're kind of in the outskirts and I'm not gonna lie the two times I've sat on that far side it almost felt like our server completely forgot about us but you're by the water, it's nice and sunny, there's a nice breeze. It's also great for people watching or if you just want a little bit more privacy. The service is usually great, they are frequently training staff tho. I'm not sure if it's just a summer thing and maybe they have younger college aged adults who just need a summer gig, but once the weather gets nice there's a higher chance of you getting a server whose simultaneously training someone or you have a trainee as your waiter and then someone comes every so often asking how they're doing. Not a big deal but it can get a little annoying. Either way the food is great, the drinks are great, the location is perfect for the summer time and they have friendly staff. I will always be a regular there.

I went here twice in the same week and different experiences... the food is hit or miss. The tacos are lackluster, if you know what a good taco tastes like, these taste like they're missing something. The jalapeño cornbread and octopus dish were both good and creative. The corn dip is just ok, not a standout, and same with the guac. The service is also just ok, my first waitress here was nice the other was very disinterested/not wanting to be as helpful. It is by the water so it's a great vibe/atmosphere-- a homeless guy did come up to our table and he went in the restaurant to ask us to buy something for him so it is a pretty open space.

Barcocina left me with mixed feelings. I came here for a night out and dinner after seeing strong reviews online and hearing several recommendations. Service: We were seated quickly, which was a great start. Unfortunately, after that it felt like we were mostly forgotten. Once our server came back, everything seemed rushed as if they were trying to catch up. Taste: The food itself was underwhelming. The salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar, and the tacos we ordered were very Americanized with little authenticity or standout flavor. Ambiance: This is where the restaurant really shines. The location right on the harbor is beautiful and the overall vibe is relaxed, making it a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the waterfront. Overall, the setting is excellent, but the food and service didn't live up to the hype.

    Brunch Enchiladas

It's been years since I last visited Barcocina, but I'm glad the deliciousness of the food has stayed consistent over the years! I ordered the brunch enchiladas, which had spicy chicken, fried egg, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, and our waitress brought a spicy sauce to complement the dish. I also ordered the blackberry mule for my drink, and I only have good things to say! I really enjoyed this meal and will definitely order it again!

This restaurant in Fells Point had great view. The view makes the experience much better. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We got few tacos and they were all delicious. I would def recommend to friends for a brunch or dinner.

This place has a really good bottomless mimosa deal that happens throughout the week. My friends and I love to come here for bottomless mimosas. The food is okay, I like to get the steak tacos. I was not a fan of the cheeseburger tacos. It's a nice place to grab mimosas near the water with a great view. The service is attentive.

We love the Green Goddess Salad, we add grilled chicken and shrimp, so delicious! We also get the Octopus (only available for dinner which starts at 3pm). Today we tried the calamari, I have had better but my husband thought it was decent. Service is fast enough, people are friendly enough. There are options for inside and outside seating, good for large and small groups.

    Flank Steak Tacos
    Jodi L.

Our first time here! We enjoyed getting guacamole and chips and guacamole and salsa as our appetizers. I wasn't the biggest fan of the red salsa as it was a little different than what I'm used to, but the guacamole was outstanding. The chips were cut into smaller pieces which I liked! Our server recommended the tacos and felt that the breaded cauliflower, and flank steak were two of their best sellers. We ordered both in addition to the shrimp tacos. The sauces for all of the tacos were to die for, and all three of them were so flavorful. My dad ordered the tuna appetizer which was freshly sliced Ahi tuna with jalapeños and chips, he loved it. There are plenty of options for seating, indoors, on the patio and outdoors. The view is amazing and the service was fast.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.

I have not eaten a lot of Indian food and certainly not recently so I asked for recommendations. We got an order of pakodas for the table and shared them, and also in order of samosas. Both were delicious and the pakodas were incredibly unique, and lightly fried. One of the people at our table had the restaurant weeks prefix that included tomato soup and beetroot pattie, an entree, vegetables, rice, naan and dessert all for $45. The rest of us just ordered off the menu and I opted for the chicken curry with rice which was fantastic and also got a side order of the garlic naan. It was super garlicky but very tasty. The restaurant itself is small with maybe a half dozen tables inside and two or three tables outside but it was just enough for us that evening. Our servers were excellent and helped explain aspects of the menu and helped us make decisions on what we wanted to eat. The only reason for one less star is we were finished eating and the checks arrived, we were never offered the opportunity to get dessert which was really weird. The goat itself had a bit more bones than I'd prefer, but overall even those were extremely tender & flavorful. Additionally I had used the Naan bread to help finish up the broth, which ended with a very satisfying comfort meal. The service & ambiance itself was also a pleasure.
