Went to Taco Love in Locust Point (McHenry Row). Not a big fan of Mexican food but the tacos were GREAT. Shrimp taco very good. Chicken and bacon taco really good. Pork (pastore) taco had pineapple which was surprising and made the taco too sweet, had to remove the pineapple. Nice Mexican draft beer. Good service. Attractive restaurant. The only disappointment was the music. I was expecting contemporary Latino music. Instead there was a weird mix of classic rock, hard rock, etc. read more

Very average very very bland tacos. They should let the chefs cook it how they want it was badly any salt on the chicken. The chorizo was good but also dry which makes no sense. I wouldn't come back but the service was perfect they explained my two options for me based on what I wanted there are a lot of protein options as well. read more

My cousins were visiting from out of town and I decided to take them to Cross Street Market for lunch due to the variety of options to choose from. My cousin and I decided to go for tacos from Taco Love Grill. One thing I love about Taco Love Grill is that you can get tacos the traditional way or gringo style. They also have hard shell tacos if that's your jam. I decided to get the traditional steak tacos and a mango jarritos to wash it down. There are several seating areas within the Cross Street Market to sit so we dined in. Everything was delicious and I will return for another taco fix when I am at the Cross Street Market again. read more

Taco Love is a must visit destination if you are in the Fed Hill/Cross St. Market area. They consistently provide delicious tacos and burritos, have great customer service, and fair prices. This is probably the most authentic Mexican food on this side of town and anytime I'm in the area I gotta drop by and get fed. read more

I went last night with some friends for a quick bite. The staff is very friendly, and the food was quick! Not to mention absolutely delicious. I got 3 tacos so I could try different flavors: chicken and bacon, shrimp, and steak. All three were fantastic. I will be coming back for more tacos. read more

OMG GOODNESS! This was my first visit to Taco Love Grill and I'm in absolute love. The food is extremely tasty and delicious and the drinks are powerful and delicious. The menu is sizable with lots of tacos, bowls and ect. I can usually handle three tacos but I struggled to eat the last one because of how much meat, I mean MEAT not filling, was in the tacos. Overall a great experience, will be back to try more of the menu! read more

We were just wandering and getting very hungry. Everyone in our party of three found something they liked on the menu board here. One of got a burrito with chicken, one got chicken tacos and I got a burrito bowl with ground beef. Two of us also had margaritas. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Fresh the salsa is good and go ahead and ask for the hot salsa and at least mix a dab into your meal - the flavor is amazing! Not a bad place to stop through on a taco Tuesday or any other day actually. We went here on cinco de mayo and it was packed. The food was good. I've had it a few more times and it was the same every time. They have kiosks that you can order from to speed up your service and they have a bar. The margaritas were solid. Extremely over priced for OK food and rude staff. This is a taco place so I don't think it's right that I have to pay for salsa to put on my tacos? Salsa should be complimentary as it's a known topping for Mexican food items and they want to charge .50 for a small container of salsa?! Insane. Food was ok - Birria was dry on the torta. Tacos were good but not worth the price for only tacos at a food hall. read more

This has been everything I needed! I have been craving birria tacos for weeks and did not want to settle for a generic kind. My family and I visited Taco Love and they delivered on the Taco and the LOVE!! So flavorful and authentic! Many options and very traditional in style/flavor. Very pleased!! I've been in love with birria tacos lately so when I saw the "quesabirria" on the menu, I had to have it! It was a large portion, greasy, cheesy, meaty & satisfying. Exactly what I had hoped it would be! The do not skimp on the meat. My boyfriend had a chicken burrito bowl which was sooo good, more on the nutritionally balanced side but just as delicious. Taco place located inside the cross street market. I ordered the beef and cheese quesadilla which was really good and a side of Mexican style rice. The food was fairly priced and came out pretty quickly as well. They have some seats at the taco place to eat, but there are also a lot of common areas within the market to go and sit down and enjoy your meal. read more

stopped by last night around 5:35 for a carryout order. Sat at the bar while waiting. I informed the hostess that I decided to eat in and wanted to get a drink and finish meal while seated there. She informed me that I could order a drink while I waited but they wouldn't let me eat there since I ordered carryout. I said really, you're telling me I can't eat in after I order a drink at the bar? And she replied yes, that's correct. You're lucky my food wasn't thrown all over the place and you be cleaning it up. WTF is this service and customer treatment. This service is the pits. Don't waste your time with an establishment with service like this. It's no wonder they only had at most 10 people in the place during evening rush . read more

It's TACO...TODAY!! I was in the mood for some Nachos, and nestled in the Cross Street market located at 1065 South Charles St., #128 Baltimore M.D. you'll find @tacolovemarket !! Geesh Louise, We went there for some quick nachos (pictured-served with black beans, melted cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, and tofu $12) and ended up with tacos too!! With menu items including quesadillas, burritos, and tacos...you can get varying degrees of meat in them. They have chicken, steak, carnitas (braised or simmered pork), chorizo (a spicy pork sausage), Barbacoa (chewy seasoned beef), and Tofu. On this day we chose Birria Tacos (pictured- pepper marinated shank cut beef served with cilantro, and onions on a corn tortilla Birria juice on the side-$14). It was a tad bit on the oily side, but overall the meat was tender, the tortillas were crisp, and the the Birria juice was a savory addition to dip the taco in. Suggestion...squeeze the lime on top...it's a tasteful conduit for the flavors of the tacos!! The Nachos...could've been better in my opinion. The ingredients did not taste fresh...the jalapeños were definitely from the can via the string scent and taste of vinegar. They also didn't have flare...where's the cilantro, garlic, and crisp red onions? Hold up though...their margarita was like that!! They sell them in bottles you can take home, and I see why!! Trust me, try it!! I'd go back to this spot, definitely, for the tacos and/or burritos and quesadillas (I'm sure they're delicious). If you're in the area, give them a shot!! This taco shop was absolutely delicious! I got the chicken tacos while my sister got a steak quesadillas along with sharing some chips and guacamole. Everything was phenomenal! I love mexican food. This location did not disappoint. It is Tuesday so I was able to get a nice deal. I had 2 soft shell flour tortilla, grilled chicken, american tacos with a side of guacamole. I don't know how they won any sort of award. We sould have gone to the place across the street: when you go to what's basically a mall food court you get food court quality food. Not just overpriced, but mediocre even at half the price. Food served luke warm. Mushy bland carnitas (clearly not crisped on the flat top as it should be). Asada was OK, but mostly tasted of salt and not great beef. "Traditional" taco served with single corn tortilla. Bland salsa. read more

The wings are a go-to for us and the burger does not dissapoint at all. However the star of the show at our last visit was the Brussels sprouts!! Sooo flavorful and crisped up. Highly recommend. Definitely stop by here if you have a reservation or a relatively small party and looking for a tasty lunch or dinner!

Basically it's a pleasant gin with bright lime juice and probably simple syrup. Very refreshing, and served chilled with a slice of lime in an intricately-etched Nick & Nora coupe. I ordered a freshly-fried $16 Catfish Po' Boy, with lettuce and tomato and a little very lightly-spicy mayo-butter sauce on fresh French Bread. It's a generous enough sandwich that I ate it in two goes, and that bread really crisped-up beautifully flakey! Because we cannot resist, we also got an order of fresh-made deep-fried beignets, little randomly-shaped crispy pastry-dough treats in a sneezeable amount of powdered sugar. It came with chocolate dipping sauce, which was a fun addition. The food and drink were delightful, as were the staff.
