It is INFURIATING to see the way they are treated, by the little snots that go to the school across the street. If you are a parent, and your kid goes to that school, for the ones that HAVE taught their kids etiquette, thank you. The staff around Park Fair Mall, and the other shoppers, we thank you. For the ones that haven't, shame on you. The higher ups in the Walgreens corporate ladder, REALLY need to think of the wages you are paying these employees, then tag on more. They are doing the jobs of 5 people. And they are doing an AWESOME job. There is a time gap, of when school lets out, that the store has a shift, but ANY time, outside of that half hour/hour, they are able to do what they are needing to do. They are ALWAYS professional, ALWAYS helpful, i have NEVER seen them anything but, even when a group of the kids come in, thinking THEY are running the place. Lol, which they aren't. They have a TOP NOTCH staff.

The pharmacy closed at 6PM and a sign on the door advised the pharmacy would be closed until 10AM Monday. Got text messages all weekend saying my prescription was ready (the pharmacy is closed until Monday) and then a got a text telling me the pharmacy was closed and they would advise when it reopened. Never received any text advising they were reopened but I went there straight from work today and they CLOSED AT 6PM! Tried calling another Walgreens to see if they could fill it and no luck there. I advised that I was leaving at 4:30 AM tomorrow on a trip and was told I could call my Dr's office and have them call the prescription into their location. It is 6:15 at night, the Dr's office closed at 4!!! Horrible customer service and I refuse to deal with this crap any longer. Been a loyal customer for 30+ years but no more. I am moving every single prescription I have out of their reach so hopefully I won't ever have to deal with them again!

That was a waste over 12k, and now I'm horrified by the way my ears look. I would also note Dr. Carlisle did an upper bleph on me before he joined Koch & Carlisle, and it left horrible scarring. I was allergic to the sutures they used, I had even complained to his nurse at the time who told me just to stop using some ointment I had been prescribed. I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. I would not recommend.

They were super accommodating in refunding my money and I really appreciate it that since I unfortunately had a transition that wasn't making it possible for me to feel comfortable having the surgery. For example, their response to my complaint about no shampoo being available is that there is a removable handle in the shower. That has nothing to do with no shampoo being available. They made no attempt to address the fact that my treatment wasn't complete (I did not receive a foot massage) or the rough handling during the scalp massage. Update: In addition to this review I've sent two emails and still haven't gotten a response from anyone at Coachlight. Really disappointing customer service. There are some areas where I was disappointed with my visit that I feel can be improved upon. Because I am a new client it would have been nice to receive a welcome email or phone call with instructions for my visit. I didn't receive anything instructing me on what time to arrive or what to expect. Because of that I arrived at 8am for a 9am appointment due to the site saying you have an hour beforehand to use the facilities and I thought I would need to be changed and ready at 9am. At 8:30 I tried the doors again because I saw a receptionist inside. The doors were still locked. She looked annoyed but unlocked the door and said I could come in. I explained I had a 9am appointment and probably needed to change which is why I was early. The facilities are impeccably clean and quiet, so that was a positive. It was a relaxing calm environment, which is what I was looking for. It would have been nice if someone showed me around and explained how to use the saunas and rain shower though since it was my first time. For the treatment itself, the woman was cordial but was very rushed. It felt like she was trying to get through the treatment as fast as possible. She was rough instead of being slow and ensuring the experience was relaxing. I was most looking forward to the scalp massage but she was so rough it was painful and felt like my hair was being ripped out at times because she was going too fast. My hairdresser gives a scalp massage so I know what a proper one feels like. The description of the treatment also said I would receive a mint foot rub, which I did not. After the treatment I was told to shower. There was no soap or shampoo available and my hair was full of oil. When she came back I noted this and she said there was shampoo in the locker room. Showering again after the treatment would defeat the purpose of the lotion being applied at the end of the treatment. So my choice was leave with oily hair or shower again and rinse off all the lotion. After the treatment I was taken back to the main area and still hadn't been given instructions on how to use the facilities. At checkout I was asked how much I wanted to include for a tip. I really dislike when I'm asked this in a busy area with other clients present behind me as it's uncomfortable to bring up issues then and I feel pressure to tip even if the service had issues. I would prefer being able to write it down on a receipt. I emailed the spa about these concerns and asked them to reach out to make it right and I have not heard from anyone. For the price the service is subpar.

Every now and then Valley West Mall lands a gem like Blaze Pizza and recently European Taste that sticks, but for the most part it seems to be a dying environment. I don't feel the drive-in or carnivals are a good idea. It seems to bring problems to the area that those of us who live in the Clive West Des Moines area don't need. Personally I feel it's more trouble than it's worth. Some businesses may benefit from the people it brings to the West side. Valley West Mall doesn't have the quality of a food court that Merle Hay Mall does... Though foodie traffic would probably go a long way in bringing this mall back. While I now spend more time and money shopping at Jordan Creek and the Outlets in Altoona...I continue to shop at Valley West Mall when I can. I'm rooting for a comeback!
