I've only gotten waxed a couple of times and Heidi is the best! She is so nice and always makes me feel comfortable by asking how I'm doing. She has everything set up and remembered that the wax was a little too hot before so she waved it over her arm first to cool off a bit before putting it on me. She never double dipped and was talking the whole time to distract me from the pain. She also made sure to get all the little hairs she could and gave me a mirror to check and make sure that I was comfortable with the wax before I left. It's still a relatively new salon so of course they're learning but so far, Heidi has been the best and I am definitely going back! I recommend! read more

This salon was great! I've had waxing done before and this was definitely the best wax I've had. Karen is extremely thorough and sweet. Her laid back personality helped make an already uncomfortable experience a, mostly, pleasurable one. I still haven't found anyone who does my eyebrows just the way I like but I'm not crazy picky and no one has thoroughly messed them up. The environment is very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this waxing studio to anyone. I would say book with Karen though. Shital is awesome! She makes a Brazilian as painless as possible. She does a great job threading eyebrows, lips and chin. The upper lip threading is definitely not a fun thing, but the finished product is worth the few minutes of discomfort. I have gone to Shital three times now, and I'm a customer for life! Lenee is wonderful to work with. I come in for a Brazilian wax every couple of months and she gets me in and out in 20 mins with minimal pain. I'm so glad I found this place it's worth the drive. I can't believe I'm just reviewing this place. I began coming here early last year when I first moved to the Peachtree Corners. I was fortunate enough to be blessed with Lenee. My previous experience with waxing was not a great one to say the least but shaving is just so time consuming. She is always quick and very gentle, and if it is going to hurt she prepares me for it. The staff is always very friendly and I never feel uncomfortable. I would recommend Lenee to everyone who needs a Brazilian. I don't go to anyone else there. read more

I've been to BARE several times and loved their original threader. I went this past Friday and a Miss Shana (or Shannon, I didn't understand when she said her name) did my eyebrows. It had been a while since I had my eyebrows threaded so they were nice and thick and of course very messy. I asked her to please clean them up and to NOT make them thin. She understood. She spent some time on each eyebrow and I felt as though she was really taking her time to do a great job. Well, I was wrong!!! She made my left side UGLY THIN and my right side didn't match. I told her and she blamed my eyebrow. I had my sister waiting for me in the car so I told myself I'll try to color them in and fix them once I get home. She asked if she should color them in and I said please. I walked out looking like uneven clown! Even my sister laughed and said "please tell me you didn't pay for that!!" She asked if the lady in the front desk really let me walk out like that after you paid and I said yes. The place is very nice and clean, but I think I'm going to start looking for somewhere else to do my eyebrows. I added pics so you can judge for yourself! I tried to color them in at home and noticed she cut my skin in a few places with the thread. My face hurt for the whole day and that's not common for me after I get threaded. As long as Shana or whatever her name is, is there then I definitely WONT be going back. read more

I had become tired of allowing different people to do my eyebrows at the nail salon and needless to say they were a hot mess. I got my eyebrows done by Janeida and she was wonderful. Before she started, she gave me a mirror and explained what she saw; I told her that my goal was to grow out my eyebrows because they had been thinned out. I really wanted to like Bare. The location is awesome. The decor is great. Receptionist is clear and helpful. And Heidi was super nice. But unfortunately, I just finished having to tweeze about 40 hairs, in an area that was supposed to be completely bare. Because ya know, "Brazilian" means "everything gone". Not, "once you get home realize that she missed a bunch [not just like tiny ones, like very obvious, definitely long enough to wax hairs] and have to tweeze some yourself and then have to ask your husband to get the ones.. ya know, in the back". I've been getting Brazilians for a couple years now so I pretty much know what to expect. I did like that the wax was less painful than other places I've gone. But maybe that's due to the fact that this was actually more of a touch up than a full Brazilian. Which just adds to why I'm surprised she missed so much. It was a pretty easy job in my opinion. Also, I was surprised that when she said she was done and would leave me to wipe off and get changed, I was left with a lot of wax left over all over me. Took about a minute to get it all off and still found some on my hip when I got home. It all around felt like a rushed job. Which I can understand because it was the end of the day, she probably wanted to just go home, and not have to pay attention to these details. But... Doesn't leave a great impression, and it sucked having to spend half an hour tweezing. Speaking of time, it also took longer than im used to. Normally a Brazilian takes about 15mins for me, and there are no issues afterwards. This was about 20, and they said they normally take 20-30mins. I hate to sound like a complainer and mention another thing, but I was also a bit surprised that I got a fingerprint sized broken blood spot on my skin. It's only happened once before when I tried to wax myself. Heidi was super friendly, and probably my favourite person of all of the people I've had a wax done by. But at the end of the day, I'm paying to have the hair removed. Not for a nice personality and a cool location. I'd like to return and give it another chance, but not if I'm going to get the same results. Maybe I'll stick with my usual place. read more

I can't think of anything that I don't like about this location. I have been patronizing Bare for about 2 years now for my waxing needs. Prior to finding Bare I had visited several different salons and spa some good but over priced and others with terrible experiences. I have visited with different technicians when coming to this location and have always had a good experience. I highly recommend Heidi and Ami. Their online booking process is simple and efficient. I have not tried any sugaring services so I cannot include that in my review. I have done threading here twice, while the service is great, I believe their pricing on threading is too high. Based solely on the fact that I can find threading services closer to my home with the same quality of service for half the price. I went in and got a sugaring Brazilian wax and eyebrow threading. It was awesome! Very quick, which is what you want for these processes. Also the price for both processes was not even the cost of a Brazilian waxing at spa sydell. it was the first time I have tried sugaring. It was not as painful as waxing, but I did feel it. However the clean up after was so much better, just use water and you are done. read more
