She was with another client when I walked in and another was waiting in the seats. She didn't acknowledge that another client had just sat down and continued to chat with the client in the chair. When she was done, she acknowledged me and the gal in the seats and asked if we had an appointment. I said no and this somewhat was a big deal. She kept repeating Saturday is busy and she is all booked for the day. Then after she had the next client in the chair she started to say maybe she can fit me in between -- when I was the only one who seemed to be waiting? I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before and it usually takes 10 min? Also I don't know if I ever had to make an appointment. The client in the seat only got her eyebrows and lip done, which took about 10-15 min. After she was done with that client, she said she could take me. I probably won't come here regularly only as a last resort. Her prices are the highest in the area too. Looks like there are other threading salons in the area that offer the same service at the same quality for a lower price.

I asked if there was an earlier spot and she said yes at 10:00AM with her. I told I would take it. I wasn't too picky who did my brows as long as it got done. When I arrived yesterday, my appointment was on time and Gretchen was amazing. Gretchen asked if there was anything in particular that I needed done other than the brow clean up and my response was no. I only pointed out that it's a medium shape for stencil purposes and she agreed. She was friendly, outgoing and a perfectionist like me. I walked out with lovely brows. This salon is beautiful, very clean and professional. But my lash lift + tint barely deserves 3 stars. There was barely a consultation and the technician got dye in my eye (which took 3 washes to get out! my normal place has never once gotten dye in my eye) so it was already rough when I left, but I left a nice tip because I appreciated her time and in the mirror they looked fine. Once I got back to my car I realized that the curls was looser than I wanted and despite getting black tint, my lashes were much lighter than when I usually get them tinted - I even had friends make comments. I got the service done on 1/16 and by 1/20 my lashes have fallen considerably. I did not get them wet for 30 hours and I dry them any time there is moisture and use the spoolie to curl. I have NEVER had my lashes fall this quickly - they usually last me 7 weeks of some curl! I got them done for an international trip where I didn't want to worry about mascara, but looks like I will be adding a tube to my toiletries. I do not like to leave negative reviews, but I take my personal care services seriously as any woman knows how expensive it gets and I want you (and me) to spend our dollar wisely!
