I built my own bison burger. The burger cost me about $17 and it was nothing close to even being good. Especially for the price it was extremely disappointing. The bison tasted just like a regular beef burger even though they charge you and extra $3. The bacon on it was gross, very fatty and not cooked all the way through. Had cheese on it but you couldn't even taste it. Also got fries with the cheese and those were horrible. The fries were under cooked and the cheese is supposed to be homemade but it tasted and looked like the stuff you get out of a can. The only thing I liked about this place was their brussel sprouts, they were actually very delicious. Also I'm pretty sure our waiter tried to steal a couple extra bucks from us by charging too much on our cards and pocketing the cash given for the check. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Eh, it was ok but not what I expected. I have a few suggestions. Either all menus or no menus should be on iPad, that was a minor annoyance. Make it very simple to understand what a medium well burger looks like - either with pictures or descriptions. Since your specialty is burgers, hence your name, communicating your definition of how long something is cooked is essential. Wait staff needs to be further trained, over friendly does not make up for taking away my dish the moment the last bite was put in my mouth. I couldn't even ask for it back because my mouth was full. We had burgers and the Guac Chop salad - since the name of the salad refers to the guacamole, I assumed it would be fresh, it wasn't. It was clearly scooped out of a bucket that was once frozen or at least highly refrigerated. The salad was tasteless even though it had all these great sounding ingredients. Burgers were small, Fries were not plentiful. To charge for the burger, the cheese and the fries all separately - made me feel ripped off. I get the upcharge for specialty add-ons BUT American cheese is not a specialty item - especially at a place whose specialty is burgers! Again with the iPads - let me choose my own dollar amount for the tip - don't give me choices! The bar scene here is big - perhaps it's meant to be more of a bar and the food isn't as important. If that's the case then the folks at the bar who are more interested in the TV's and the beer should be fine with the food here ----- assuming they don't mind the prices! read more

Let me first state that the food here is good. The menu is eclectic with many burger options, many of which are not beef and many of which are vegetarian. You can build your own burger, but they do charge for certain additions. The fries and onion rings are delicious and come with several dipping sauces. That is where the goodness ends. This was my second trip here. The first was a disastrous visit on Father's Day so I had high hopes that things would improve. Not so much. We were a party of five for lunch on a Tuesday. The place was not crowded. Nonetheless, the service left much to be desired. Part of it is just how this place is run and part was the waitstaff. Okay, first of all, they give you glasses for water. They hold maybe four ounces. Ridiculous. The put the equivalent of a wine bottle with water on the table. The water was warm and filled only four glasses. There was no ice. We had to ask for it. It came in gigantic tumblers and it was hard to get the ice into the tiny little glasses. Next, we ordered onion rings and fries to share as part of the meal. They were delivered as an appetizer. Fine. However, no one gave us any plates and since the waiter never returned, we could not get any before the food went cold. One of us ordered orange soda and got orange juice. In a gigantic tumbler. I had to ask for a tumbler so I could get more than one sip of water from my glass. The burgers arrived and they were delicious. We asked for more napkins because they are messy. We received three. For five people, all of whom were eating burgers. Upshot? The waitstaff is only fair. The restaurant is cheap when it comes to water, ice, the size of their glasses and napkins. Get it together, Bareburger. read more

Burgers are good, we liked the onion rings as well, but the staff and the way we were treated by the bartender was shocking. In addition to our burgers and fires plus onion rings we ordered mojotos. The first round was good we enjoyed and ordered another round. The limes on my friends second drink looked brownish and he asked our server if that drink can be replaced. To our shock, the bartender came over to our table and confronted my buddy and was lecturing that the limes are muddled. We know what muddled limes are this was not the first time we had mojotos. Another servers was looking over and she was kind enough to come over to ask and as we described to her what happened she suggested that she would send the manager over. The manager come over and was already in a defensive mood. Now the manager started to lecture us on "muddled" limes. We politely informed her that we are aware of that fact, but the issue was lime in the second drink did not seem fresh hence we asked for a replacement drink, that's all. But since the bartender came over and was confrontational, he buddy did not feel like another drink and was hesitant what might be done to the drink. It appears this set off the manager and she said she would comp the check and my buddy should stop as he was disrupting other customers. Now, it was not my buddy that would louder here. So, we were shocked and we left, we did tip our server as he was nice. I waited few days went on Bareburger site, wrote what happend but never heard back. It is a shame as the entire episode could have been avoided and could have been handled professionally by some of the staff at Bareburger. Needless to say, we wouldn't be back. Just around the corner is Le Bon Choix, they are BYOB, nice friendly staff with no attitude and much better burgers. read more

Glancing at the bar there were four bartenders just chatting with each other or looking at their phones. For a very small martini 14$ , for the same price I could get one that blows it away at any upscale steakhouse..Burger was ok but half well done and rare on the other half. To be honest this place can be somewhat hit or miss with me. For as many good experiences i've had i've also had okay and poor experiences. Really depends on what day of the week and time of day you order. Mornings feel a little lazy whereas the nights dining-in were much more passionate. So I've been to this place twice now. Like to give everyplace the benefit of the doubt. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years also and would typically never give a place a bad review, but somebody needs to wake up management here. I'm all honesty, the food tastes good. The service however is a nightmare. First time I came, they delivered our food at a table near us and somebody took a bite of my burger before realizing it was the wrong order. They then proceeded to pick it up and bring it to us with a piece missing. My GF lost her appetite and couldn't eat her food, but we paid for it regardless. Came again tonight because we were hungry assuming things got better. I wouldn't have given this Yell review before because it's not fair unless they have been a restaurant for a while and worked out the kinks. This has gotten worse. The server thought Ketel One was a whiskey. Our food came out wrong. My vodka soda tasted like sweet. Think about that...... Anyway I don't know if managers are ever present here. They don't touch tables. Teeneagers rum this place (into the ground). It's probably not their fault because they are young but this place is the worst run restaurant I can remember ever being to. My family and have been to this location a few times and have always enjoyed it. Great location and atmosphere. We recently went there on a busy Saturday night and the restaurant was short staffed (much like every where else.) Still, service and food were great. When we got home my 12 year old daughter realized she left a bag at the restaurant with some hair clips and other things she had bough that evening before we had dinner. I texted the number that told us when my table was ready and got a message back from "Jeff" immediately telling me they would look for the lost bag. Later that night Jeff sent me a picture of the lost bag and asked me to confirm that it was the same bag my daughter had left behind. THANK YOU JEFF! Made my daughter's evening.
