I visited Felina this past weekend for an event and to spend time with friends. While my friends were ordering drinks, I asked the bartender if there were any non-alcoholic options available. Unfortunately, his response was dismissive and rude, simply stating "no" in a manner that made me feel like I was an inconvenience. The interaction was unnecessarily uncomfortable and embarrassing. I even tried to lighten the situation by awkwardly laughing and asking if he could make a mocktail instead, but the bartender again responded in a way that made me feel unwelcome. It is disappointing that in 2026, especially at a high-end establishment in Ridgewood, there appears to be little consideration or hospitality shown toward guests who choose not to drink alcohol. Customer service should make all patrons feel respected and included, regardless of what they order. this review is for the rooftop only. i went to the rooftop la terrazza and had a good time. its a cute rooftop in the north jersey area. i'm always on the look out for a good after work drinks spot in my area. i will say i am shocked by the prices. I got a limoncello spritz and it was reasonably priced for being in ridgewood. i saw they also had pizza on the menu and the couple sitting next to me ordered it and it looked so good, i think i will order it next time. the only thing is they had a live singer, he was playing guitar and singing country songs. its not really the type of music i listen to. i spoke to a guy there that is a regular customer and says its either live music or nothing on the rooftop. just wish they would of had some type of spotify playlist or dj playing there. hopefully they will in the future think of it. read more

Love, love, love Felina. We came here for my husband's birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special. The food was superb. We loved everything we had! The pizza was thin and crispy, the halibut was cooked perfectly, and the burrata was yummy. From custom birthday menus, to a handwritten note, to a complimentary dessert at the end, we really appreciated the little touches to make the meal memorable. I've been meaning to visit Felina for a while and was so excited to finally try it on a Friday evening! There was a wedding happening in a separate part of the restaurant while we were there. We were celebrating a friend's birthday so they started off by handing her a birthday note. The interior was beautiful with christmas decorations and a casual upscale atmosphere. For drinks, we ordered the blush spritz (similar to an aperol spritz) and the blossom and bubbles. We were given complimentary focaccia with olives and pickled eggplant. The focaccia was delicious and served in bite-sized cubes. For our mains we got the cacio e pepe and margherita pizza. Both weren't bad and I enjoyed the interesting pasta shape for the cacio e pepe. We were given a complimentary small birthday cake and limoncello shot which was really nice and cute and as we were leaving we also each received two lemon drop cookies. Overall, Felina exceeded my expectations with their service and experience and I would definitely recommend visiting especially if it's for a birthday! read more

This review is only for the terrace, which is located on the roof of the building. I did not eat at the restaurant downstairs but was in search for a nice outdoor spot to grab a drink with my wife and friends. LA TERRAZZA located on the roof of the building was the perfect spot! We came over here on Saturday at 5:30 soon after they opened and there was plenty of seating. It definitely got crowded as the night went on. What a great experience though, we indulged in some nice craft beers and cocktails and got the soppressata pizza. The pizza was so delicious, cooked in a wood burning stove. The beers were great and i honestly couldn't have asked for anything else. The only downfall is the prices - but its Ridgewood, i wouldn't expect anything less. Food: lots of flavors, they rave about the meatball appetizer, it does taste good but personal preference is the Arancini shareable amongst 2-3, they give 3 but they are a nice size to cut in half and share. Dinner: cowboy rib eye, very nice dry rub flavor, cooked to my preferred medium well (just right pink inside) with a very well tasty garlic head. Added truffle fries, super shareable. I do not recommend! Last night we went to the rooftop. It was past opening time and they were still setting up. The drinks were subpar. We ordered a charcuterie board. It came with one piece of cheese 3 small piece of bread 3 slices of salami prosciutto and A LOT of olives. There were 4 of us and we had to order more bread. Margarita pizza had 5 slices of mozzarella and barely and basil. Our waiter spent more time tending bar than us. When we asked for the bill we waited 15 minutes for him to come get it. It's an old bank turned into restaurant. They still keep all the wonder features from the bank. One of the managers Sean gave us a tour and it was thrilling to see everything up close. Food is impeccable. I had Bronzino. Crispy skin and tender insider. Seared perfectly. We also had wine appetizer dessert. I liked all of them. Service is great. A fantastic new restaurant in Ridgewood that we visited for dinner. A previous bank building that was repurposed for this restaurant, it has huge hall for hosting events like wedding, baby shower, corporate events, has a huge dining area for guests and has a roof top bar for pleasant experience. There's a section that has a bank vault and full of deposit box. Such cool rustic look. We reserved our dinner to ensure we get a table. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. The menu is short and precise, has some excellent options. We loved the calamari, they were just about the right size and portion. The lasagna was creamy, such tasty marinara sauce. I tried the salmon for entree. Very nicely cooked, moist in the middle and a nice crispy skin. The side of fries was excellent too. I got the purple passion non alcohol drink, very citrusy, had couple of those. Overall the service was good. Entree took sometime to come out. We got a tour of the restaurant from one of the manager. I've rarely encountered such a dismissive and condescending attitude as I did with the woman managing their "wellness" events on the rooftop. I've owned and operated a wellness business in this community for over 10 years, working with vendors and producing events, so I understand the importance of collaboration and professionalism. Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely disappointing. Rather than being open to partnership, I was met with a very rigid "this is how we do it" approach. I asked whether I could bring in just a few vendors--as she mentioned they typically have vendors--and even offered to bring my own and simply retain that portion of the revenue, especially since Felina would otherwise be taking all of the profit from the event. That was immediately shut down. The entire conversation made it clear that there was no interest in collaboration, supporting local businesses, or creating community--only control and profit. For a space promoting "wellness," the experience felt anything but welcoming. There was absolutely no flexibility with this woman, and instead of working toward a solution, she was rigid and condescending. read more

I have visited Felina for brunch and recently went to check out dinner. Felina's dinner menu did not disappoint! I started with the calamari and arancini, which were both cooked to perfection. I also ordered a blueberry lemon cocktail. This is new for the summer. It had a great flavor. For dinner, I ordered the peaches and cream salad with grilled peaches and prosciutto. The burrata and tomatoes paired on the side made this the best salad ever! The lemon and raspberry cake stole the show. I love these flavors together which make for the right amount of sweetness. If you order a coffee or tea, a rainbow cookie comes with it. Can you say perfection? Throughout my entire dinner, the service was excellent. Felina is decorated beautifully and the space is quite large inside with a bar area. There is also a rooftop to enjoy on a nice summer day. As I left, I got two cookies. Finally decided to try Felina while out in Ridgewood this weekend, have to say I will give them another chance because I was not impressed with this visit. I'm first going to go with perhaps a Saturday night was not the best time to come in and try this restaurant. I will admit I was impressed with the service as we walked in and were almost immediately able to be seated on a busy Saturday without a reservation. The inside atmosphere is a beautiful ambiance decorated nicely. However I could not hear the person sitting two feet away from me as it is extremely loud. I felt that we were yelling when we ordered and to even have a conversation with each other. The burrata was my favorite as the cheese was fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with the strawberries and mixed greens, how ever I find wherever you get a burrata they never provided enough bread with it. For entrees we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, duck fat potatoes, and chicken scarpariello. This single handedly might have been the worst cacio e Pepe I have ever had. The pasta was hard as if it was stale, the cheese had flavor, there was no sauce, and it was pretty much pasta with oil and an excess of pepper, extremely disappointing for the price of $24. The duck fat potatoes were delicious but nothing special from a regular roasted fingerling potato side. The chicken scarpariello was out of this world, flavorful, fresh, and tender chicken. The only complaint I had was there were two tiny pieces of sausage in the entire dish. And the overall presentation of this dish was good but the appearance trumped the portion size. We opted out of dessert as nothing really stood out to us. I am willing to give dinner another try here but for the hype of this restaurant I have to say I preferred the business that was in this building prior. read more

Four of us went with 6pm reservations. We were seated right away but had to wait for one of our party since Ridgewood has little to no parking and is one reason we avoid dining in town. The dining room noise was over the top causing us to scream at each other. We had a great waitress who was super knowledgable and helped one of our party who needed gluten free options and Sabrina was able to rattle off all those options. Drinks were excellent but the meal was just adequate. The red sauces on our appetizer and main courses we so garlic laced we couldn't finish them. The salmon was good a the cacio-de-pepe was also good. deserts and coffees were also good. So, to sum it up: 1- town parking sucks (not Felinas fault) 2 - noise, terrible 3 - service, great 4 - food, not excellent but good 5 - prices ok. For my 30th birthday celebration, I wanted to pick a restaurant that would match the vibes of this momentous occasion & chapter of life. I chose Felina in Ridgewood, as it had been on my list of must try places for a while & is a gorgeous location with great reviews. I was drawn to this restaurant because of its history - as it is located in a former bank & has been now transformed into a modern, rustic Italian restaurant. Our party was 14 people and we chose the semi-private Vault room where we could see the vault itself, alongside a wall of the old safety deposit boxes. The venue truly is gorgeous and has a lavish feel with high ceilings and ambient lighting. You can book this room exclusively with a party of 20 or more. We were served a family style dinner consisting of 3 starters: focaccia bread served with olives and fermented eggplant (10/10), peaches and cream (8/10) and Caesar salad (10/10) - I loveeee me a well made Caesar salad!!! Next, we had rigatoni al pomodoro (10+++) crispy skin salmon with grilled corn (10+++) and chicken scarpariello (3/10) this was my family and my least favorite food out of everything. My favorite part was dessert (always) - the cake came (organized by the restaurant) from Palermo's bakery, which is also where my wedding cake was from so I KNEW it would be amazing! It was strawberry filled with vanilla custard and whipped cream icing and was just perfect!!! In addition, the restaurant served us a rich, decadent dark chocolate mousse which I really enjoyed (9/10) although some of my family members thought it was too thick/rich. The staff was friendly and incredibly attentive to our party. The food - with the only exception of the chicken - was absolutely delicious & beautifully plated and presented! I was pleasantly surprised that on a Thursday evening, they had live acoustic music that added a very special touch to the experience. The menu had varying price points. I had the shrimp scampi that had a healthy portion of shrimp. Only thing I added was some fresh cracked pepper. The gin fig speciality cocktail was good but wouldn't order it again. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The manager walked from table to table to make sure everything was going well in the establishment. An additional touch was as we were walking out, the manager handed us a small package of sugar cookies and wished us a lovely evening. This is a perfect date night spot! While I love the food, drinks and ambiance, I have to give 3 stars because it's too LOUD. My girlfriend and I are literally yelling at each other to have a conversation. It's not super relaxing and somewhat exhausting. And to put it in context, we always sit shoulder to shoulder vs across the table from each other. I was crammed into Steel Wheel with live music a few nights earlier and it didn't feel all that different. But that's expected in a bar. In a dining establishment (fine or otherwise) I would expect a much lower noice level. With the size of Felina's main dining / bar and hardwood floors, they really need sound dampening on the ceiling or walls. read more

As a matter of fact, all of the restaurants within the Landmark Hospitality umbrella are consistently delicious and the first place I consider for celebrations and special moments in my life and those close to me. Tonight I celebrated my husband's birthday at Felina. The host, Sean, was very hospitable and seated us at a wonderful table that was near the live guitarist that played beautiful music that set up a wonderful ambiance for the evening. Our server, Samantha, was fantastic! She gave excellent recommendations and was quite attentive and pleasant. We took her suggestions of trying the Peachy Keen and Hibiscus Haze cocktails and we were glad that we did as both were excellent. Our food was fantastic! We started the meal with arancini for our appetizer. It had the perfect texture and the pesto drizzle added a really nice touch. The complimentary foccaccia bread for the table was a home run! There were two types: sun-dried tomato and Italian herb. Both were very soft and tasty, but as a tomato lover, the sundried tomato was my favorite. The bread was also served with pitless olives and the most addictive pickled eggplant that can win over anyone who isn't an eggplant fan. For my entree, I had the meat sauce rigatoni while my husband had the chicken parm. Both of us were completely stuffed from our sizable portions so we unfortunately couldn't make it to dessert. The bright side is we have leftovers for tomorrow. Of course I look forward to coming back to Felina for another fantastic and memorable meal. read more
