Thank you Bareburger for coming into our small town. We have needed an establishment like this for awhile. Let's just start out with talking about the décor and location. Right by the train station for when I return home from work, for a quick and convenient happy hour. They have garage doors that open to the streets, while enjoying the Friday Music with the Guild. My friends and I were able to enjoy last night's entertainment, which by far was a pleasant surprise. The young boy who played was incredible for such a young artist. The interior from floor to ceiling is covered with reclaimed wood and the shutters on the bar are beautiful. The service was outstanding between our server and the other staff (not sure if they were servers or not). It was very easy to get assistance if needed, and in my experience I have always had some sort of service issue at other restaurants. Very attentive to my needs, asked me if I had any allergies to any food, which in this day and age is hardly ever considered at any other location. The food was delicious, the burgers were cooked perfectly with options to build my own the way I want it. I had choices of my sides but my favorite were the brussel sprouts. I heard this is the place to enjoy healthy, quality eats, so I checked it out with three friends for lunch. Fun atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. There are three huge garage doors that open the place up. Very easy and enjoyable feel. Good size restaurant, we had no wait for lunch. Menu is on a tablet and easy to understand with a very good selection of healthy eats. Very friendly service, and even though it was crowded the waitress was keeping up. Most important part, the food. I won't bore you with the details but between the four of us we started with two orders of the Brussel sprouts, definitely you have to try them, so healthy and so good. Meals were beef burger, vegan burger, sandwich and guapo chop salad. Everyone had great comments: preparation, quality and taste. Price,, felt its a very fare price for healthy,quality food, great service in a fun hip establishment, enjoyable downtown shopping area of Ridgewood. We love Bareburger and don't get why it has so little stars. We come here at least once a month and enjoy our experiences every time. The burgers are always fresh, fries delicious, and I can't stay away from their crispy Brussel sprouts. They cater so well to those with dietary restrictions and allergies. I'm gluten intolerant and this place is amazing for me. Great gluten free buns and their breaded chicken is gluten free and so crispy, delicious, and enormous! They are a little pricy but if you download the app you can buy thru their and get rewards after purchases. We had one fluke experience where we weren't too happy with our pickup order but that could have been slightly on us for not being able to pick it up on time and it sitting for a bit in containers. But out of the maybe 15 times we have been here, that's just one off time and every other time we love this place and are regulars here! read more

I've been wanting to visit this place for so long. I finally got a chance the other day and so happy I did. I went in craving a burger but decided to try something different. Being that I loved all the choices, I was having a hard time making a decision (I love almost everything!) so our server, Bella, guided me. She was patient and great! She took the time to walk me through all the choices and gave me great suggestions. I wound up getting a BYO Sweet Potato Patty with lots of yummy toppings. It was amazing. Will definitely be getting it again! I want to add that I thought the place was very clean, social distancing seemed to be implemented properly and it was an overall fantastic experience. Had dinner twice there and went in today to get my favorite Milkshake...I just wanted to give a shoutout to the crew at Bareburger for being so friendly and helpful. Especially Bella Burger ( I think that was he name, funny she actually works at a 'Burger' place!!! They should call a "Burger" after her!!), a young and very friendly server. I can't say enough nice things about her work ethic and professionalism. She always had a smile on her face and was just wonderful. I find it so nice from the leadership at Bareburger that they hire so many teenagers, help them to grow and learn the customer facing business. This is my first time eating here and I can't wait to come back. The second I walked in, I felt comfortable and cozy. The restaurant had old and 'vintage' decoration on the walls, and fairy lights hanging on the ceiling. The menu was on an iPad too which was pretty cool. I am vegetarian so I was a little hesitant on menu at first, but our server Jorge was very helpful for my needs. He recommended the plant based chicken nuggets- that I had with the green goddess sauce, and my friend had the boneless teriyaki chicken wings with fries. Jorge was extremely sweet and friendly, and attentive towards our needs. He definitely made sure we had a experience! I would highly recommend this place and I can't wait to come back! read more

I've been a multi-decade long customer at this location, and have always only found their service to be simply subpar. That is, until I met Jeff Salerno. That man killed both of my children and ran over my dogs with his Jaguar. He hit on my wife, who was only 17 at the time, and shot my brother behind the TD Bank. However, despite these transgressions, the burgers here are fucking fire. Even though they taste like rubber, the mere fact that they were created under Jeff Salerno's supervision makes them easily 10000x better than any burger created under the sun. I came to this location on Mother's Day Sunday and was very impressed. The service was great by our server Amina. I got the buckaroo burger and it was delicious. I cannot remember what everyone ordered but we were all very happy. Although we did have one minor issue but the manager David came over and immediately fixed everything. He was very friendly and clearly understood our needs. He went above and beyond what we expected and added to what was already a lovely day. Bare burger is one of my favorite burger spots since they first opened in Astoria years ago. I was thrilled to come to the Ridgewood location after my sister suggested it on a trip back home to visit. Bella was our server and she was great and super friendly. She was helpful with our questions about the different food options available, as we all wanted different meals. I enjoyed the Matador burger with sweet potato fries. Decided to give this place a try with my husband - we've been to the one in Closter before and it was alright. However, the food was NOT the same!! I do not know what they changed but the Guadalupe burger tasted like old leather, and when I pulled my bun apart I found hard dry pieces within the bread, DISGUSTING! When I asked for a manager he just said "that's how the buns made" - um NO!!! Asked for a refund and they accused me of just wanting a free meal - In what world is bread made to be hard like dried glue?! Will never return to this location!!!! read more

Beautiful decor, delicious and amazing food...we had dinner at the new Ridgewood location and it was amazing. We ordered several dishes and were satisfied with each and everyone. The Cali Salad, the Burgers, and oh my the Crispy Brussel Sprouts were addictive. I had the Farmstead sandwich (with a collard green wrap) and it was fresh and filling. We were craving burgers so ordered for pickup from this place. Ordering online was super easy! Lots of options to customize which was great. Pickup was fast and easy too! Go in, tell them your name and out comes paper bag with all your stuff inside and receipt stapled on outside so you can see that everything is correct! And the service was nice and friendly. Here is the story. I and my wife ordered 2 Bareburger Lemonade cocktail. $12 each. I told the bartender "my wife is having regular, mine without ice and make it little stronger pls. She said which vodka would you like, Grey Goose ok? I said yes. Total bill is $40,51 She said $8 dollars because you said make it stronger and $6 because of Grey Goose. One of my favorite places!! Not only is the food great every time, but so is the atmosphere. The music is always fantastic; the staff is always so beyond kind, and they are super clean, making me feel really safe about indoor dining during COVID. Lia is usually my waitress, and I can't say enough good things about her! She is kind, patient, and beyond friendly. She also always recommends the best things to try. The other day I decided to go to this establishment and have a late lunch I was greeted by a friendly server by the name of lyndsey. I sat at a table by the bar and she took my order and asked me for and got I needed and was very fast to get my food. All in all definitely recommend this establishment because of the wonderful staff and servers. Had lunch here yesterday. Since it wasn't too cold, we made the choice to eat outdoors although indoor dining was available. The server was very accommodating, even going as far as to ask if they could prepare a hot chocolate since it wasn't on the menu. Fortunately they were able to make it and it was not only delicious but served in a very large cup! The burgers were made just as we ordered as were the fries. Delicious food!!! It was my first time coming in to this Bareburger location and i was very satisfied with my visit. Our waiter, Angelo, was super kind and made sure our order was perfect. The food was delish!!! We ordered the breaded pickles and let me just say.... I have never been a pickle fan till now. Angelo was super attentive and made sure we got our check in time for us to leave. Great food even for vegetarians! I was surprised to see there were several good choices for an excellent vegetarian meal (even a gluten-free wrap!). The appetizers were delicious...love the Macho Fries and the Farmstead sweet potato veggie burger was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.
