Excellent experience today at Bared Monkey starting with a warm greeting from Tony. I purchased a groupon for a small area and was able to upgrade for only $10. I went into the treatment room where I was greeted by Anna. She was super friendly and provided me with such good information about the laser that was being used in addition to the sensitivity on african american skin. After sharing with her that I had been burned previously after a laser treatment Anna was very gentle and made sure to adjust the setting so my skin did not burn. I think that I have been coming to this spa for about 3 years and I plan on staying because Ella is an amazing laser technician and I always love my results. I'm aware that laser hair removal is not permanent but it does reduce my hair grown by a lot. I have fair skin and very dark coarse hair so that I knew I'd be a good candidate for most lasers. Clean space, friendly receptionist and prompt service. The estheticians make you feel very comfortable and are thorough. This is the first time I have tried laser so I don't have anything to compare it to but I've only been twice and have seen significant reduction in hair growth. I use to have to shave almost every day (seriously!) and now I shave once every OTHER week. To me, two treatments are already worth it! They gave me written materials as in what to do and not to do before and after the treatments. On the first session, the technician also kindly repeated the info in detail in case i didn't bother to read the papers, and told me what to expect at each treatment.
